I had struggled for several years with my Trane 4 ton rooftop unit that would stop cooling but the fan would continue. I had to turn off the unit, wait a few minutes and turn it back on. Then it would cool for hours or days. The unit has been serviced semi annually by professionals but no one could find the problem. Derrick found it and changed the part.
