After using Penguin Air, our A/C stopped working and we refuse to use Penguin again. I found this company online and a technician came out the next day. He (Tim) called to let us know when he would be arriving and he was on time, very professional, checked everything and found the last (PA) tech left a loose wire in the breaker box. I've been relying on Arctic Fox almost since they were founded, and Heath and his crew serviced our old AC unit for well over a decade. Over the years our service calls were minor, but at no point did they try to upsell me with services or parts I didn't need (something I've experienced with larger companies). And once something was fixed, it remained fixed, at no point were followup calls necessary.
So when we decided it was time to replace our aging system this winter we reached out to Arctic Fox. They came to our home, assessed the existing unit, and were upfront concerning areas where they thought they might encounter problems with the install. Once this was done, Tim patiently answered all my questions about what was available and what to expect from the options we had to consider.
Once our choice was made the same crew that did the assessment showed up to install the unit, something I can't say about every company I've dealt with. The replacement took about a day and a half, as was estimated, and at the end our new unit was up and running for exactly the price I was quoted. I appreciated that when the job was done they cleaned up all the little plastic clips, packaging, bits of wire, and left over things. This shows dedication to the customer experience, and is something I can't say every crew that has been here has done. As we won't use the new unit until next year, Heath even offered to come out before we turn it on and inspect it to make sure it's ready for the summer.
For a small business like this to last it has to be built on customer service, and that's exactly what I've always had with Arctic Fox.
