This is the best pool company in the Valley, and honestly, it’s not even close. Use Dean and team for my portfolio and will continue to do so as I expand it. BEWARE!!!!! THIS COMPANY (MOST LIKELY DEAN)!!! ALMOST KILLED OUR PETS! these reviews must be fake and paid... this company came to our neighbors home to fix there serious pool problem from a broken pump. He decided to use an ungodly amount of chemical then drain the pool... he had drained the pool on the side of the house with no hose and flooded their entire yard and ours! The water came in so high it seeped through the concrete walls. Thank God we were out side and smelled a foul chemical smell and investigated. Our pets were already drinking it. It was so strong we had to put on masks. We attempted to shovel up the ground to create pockets and block the water rushing in to no avail.. when we noticed we told them over the wall what was happening. The renter said so sorry and tried to fix it. The pool "guy" ignored us until he had to deal with it and seriously told us it was our own fault for not having a sign!? A sign on a brick wall to tell people we have pets!? Every person in this neighborhood has pets. He did not apologize, he laughed and said it was not his problem. What pool company doesn't have hoses that drain to the street and then almost kills animals and laughs about it?? Now we are not only dealing with sick animals (thankfully not dead) one of which being a 65 year old sulcuta tortious and dead bushes and plants. This is the worst excuse for a company I have ever seen! They should be absolutely ashamed of themselves!! If you care at all about your home, your pets or your neighbors steer very clear of this company! We will be reporting them to environmental services!

Update: in response to the owners response that is not what happened at all. There was 0 miscommunication. He told 3 of us that it wasn't his problem and didn't care about our animals. Not sure how that's a miscommunication. Just a horrible company all around.

I called and within an hour had a tech at my home who diagnosed my problem. Repairs were done the next day! Excellent service. Friendly, knowledgeable

Dean with BFP came in CLUTCH! We inherited a green swamp and was attempting to do most of the work myself with some subcontractors here and there; far too many unreliable pool guys. I got in touch with Dean and he came over the next day to assess the project. He gave us a few options with no pressure, of which we opted to do some of the work he mentioned ourselves. After more hidden gremlins surfaced after replacing some things, we decided to take his better option; replace it all. Big Family Pools came in and brought our pool up to modern times for, honestly, a very affordable price; much lower than we had anticipated and with a smile and a long day - we had a brand new pump and filter and all the plumbing and in-floor popups replaced and functional... and as you can see - CRYSTAL CLEAR water with less noise, less problems the old system gave us, and with much more modern accoutrements we never thought we could afford. We couldn't be happier with the outcome and Dean and Big Family Pools. 100% I would recommend them to anybody. A breathe of fresh air...and crystal clear water to boot.

Dean and his guys provide my company with great service and continued care after my projects are completed. Always responsive, ready to show up and perform. Long days, late nights, whatever is needed to get the job done right. Communication is great. I can’t recommend big family pools enough.

I have been a pool builder here in the Phoenix area for over 20 years. I come from a pool service background. I trust Big Family pools with my own personal pool. They have taken care of my pool for a couple years. I have been extremely happy. When people ask me for pool service recommendations, I can honestly tell them to call Dean w Big Family. They always go above and beyond to take care of my pool. I have never had to worry once if my pool was going to be ready for a party or big weekend. It’s always clean and inviting. Dean and Michael R were awesome to work with. They helped me understand options around automation and the best solution for my pool. Michael is an amazing technician - the best I’ve ever worked with. He did all the electrical work, plus set-up the automation, installed new equipment, and troubleshot some issues with my existing equipment. I highly recommend Big Family Pools if you need help with repairs or enhancements to your existing pool.

Was recently in Scottsdale for a weekend and during our stay we had an issue with the pool, the Airbnb owner sent Big Family Pools.

Dean, was there w/in 2 hours and addressed the issue promptly. His service went above and beyond because he even called me the following morning to make sure everything was still working and that we were completely satisfied. Mike C came out to repair a non-working pool pump. He was able to quickly diagnose and determine there was a wire issue inside the control panel. He was able to repair the wire and get me back up and running without spending high dollars on a new pump.

The best pool service company in AZ! Big Family Pools is our go to service crew for our tricky pools and picky clients. They go over and above expectations. We use them at all of our homes that have pools. Definitely recommend if you want quality service from people who care!

Julio and Hector worked in the stifling heat to clean my outdoor sofa and chairs. They are white and they look great! The storm came through the trees and did stain a bit, but it's barely visible now. Excellent work guys! Thank you so much! I had my white couch cleaned, and I am seriously impressed! With two dogs and a toddler constantly jumping on it, I wasn’t sure how clean it could actually get—but they worked magic. The stains are gone, the fabric looks bright again, and it smells fresh too. The technician was super professional, explained everything, and took great care during the process. I’ll definitely be using them again when the couch inevitably gets another round of “life” on it!
