Plumbing reviews in Mesa, Arizona

I visited Baseline location and found it odd that an appointment is needed to look at kitchen faucets or browse catalogs, but not for parts and supplies, which are located next to each other in the same building. Makes no sense.
-
Very nice store very nice people and they have a full compliment of expansion pex supplies which is rare

The sales staff at standard plumbing was so helpful and answered all my questions like the consamant professionals they are. That is why I shop here for all my plumbing needs time and time again...
-
Entire staff is very helpful and Alex Villar went out of his way to help me with a part for a hot water tank! Thanks Alex!
-
Love this place. You can get anything here and the guys at the order desk are great!
-
Walked around the store for ~15 mins. Got a lot of stares but not one “hello” or “can we be help you?” So, we left.
-
These guys are great. Helped me out with a emergency part I needed. Hospitality was great. Not going to find service like that at Home Depot.
-
Friendly staff. Fair prices. Tons of inventory. I was recommended this place by a contractor buddy. I will return, thanks for the help!

Went in to look for options for an upcoming kitchen and bathroom remodel. Walked in and out of 3 or 4 people working, not one greeted us or asked if we needed anything. Also noticed none of the employees in the entire store were wearing masks, but every customer was. Very rude and disrespectful way to do business. Won't be back.

They have everything you need for your 'standard' plumbing project. Bought a fixer upper, these guys hooked me up. I replaced all my valves, which were leaking by. Including the front hose assembly which ties into the pool. Got a new garbage disposal, and even ended up repairing the water main at the street a couple months later. Extremely reasonable prices especially for a budget, and a very knowledgeable staff.

I tried Ace Hardware, Home Depot, Ferguson, and finally standard. Only at standard with the help of Alex who was creative and friendly, did I get exactly what I needed to install my bidet.

I called Standard to make sure they had the part I needed and got Cade. Cade found the part and I asked him to hold it so my wife could pick it up after she had gone to another hardware store closer to our home and they gave her the wrong part. Cade did a great job and Standard Plumbing's part worked perfectly.

Alex at Standard Plumbing deserves a raise. He is why I will be coming back to SPS. I came in with an odd ball project. Alex took the time to help me figure out what was needed to connect a hose to a large water tank. He cut me a small piece of ABS and glued it the fitting. 5 Star Customer Service!!!
Thx -
Very friendly help! Gentleman at the counter were very helpful got me what I needed in and out in less than five minutes! Appreciate the help getting my water heater back in business!

A few days ago I tried to buy a replacement part for something we bought there a few years ago as part of an entire bathroom remodel and the young woman working there tried to talk me out of buying anything. First she argued with me about the color of the part, then she tried to tell me they didn't work with that company anymore and finally she told me they had gone out of business. All of those things weren't true. Then she brought me over to the 'plumbing' side and I was then treated like I was a leper. I also noticed that not a single employee was wearing a mask (during the height of Covid).
I ended up buying the part on the internet. Worth noting, Ferguson's is a couple miles down the road but light years better. -
If there was an option for zero stars, I would definitely choose zero. The customer service here is astonishingly terrible. I ordered a $1000 faucet setup for a shower, I was erroneously charged tax with a tax exempt form on file. I was then told, to receive the difference back in tax, they would have to re-charge me the total invoice amount without tax and then wait 5-10 days to receive my original refund back. (Hold $1000 of mine for a week to be able to refund me $70 in tax....Makes absolutely no sense)
I wouldn't send my worst enemy to this place.
Double checked their prices against Home Depot and other online venues and Standard turned out to be more expensive!!! -
We went to Standard in Mesa not sure of just what was needed to complete our shower renovation. Peggy gave us fantastic service and with explanations of what fits what, etc. The store has an amazing selection of products. We would highly recommend this store for product and service.

This place is the best! I had to replace my old toilet and bought a Toto brand from Standard Plumbing. Great staff!! Friendly and very helpful. Sharon took my order over the phone and gave me a great price! The price was better than I expected after getting another quote of over a $100 dollars more from another plumbing supply place.
I will be doing business always with STANDARD PLUMBING in Mesa!
I highly recommend them! -
Good selection of bath fixtures, but the staff was COMPLETELY uninterested in helping us. Didn't even acknowledge us as we walked in and passed the front desk. Definitely no mention of "can we help you find anything?" Then the door we wanted was $200 cheaper at Lowes.
If you can't compete on price, at least compete on service. -
We went to Standard Plumbing Supply to find fixtures for a bathroom remodel that we're doing. We were helped by Dani and what a pleasant young woman. She wrote down everything that we told her we were looking for before she started showing us the different options available. Dani made our shopping experience great and we left very satisfied with our purchase.

Can't express how deep our appreciation is for Cara McMicken putting together a shower and vanity package under a time limit crunch. This remodel has been a nightmare with everything being 6 plus weeks out on the positive side. She was AMAZING and such a great example of customer service and knowledge. Thank you Cara. You truly are appreciated more than words can express.
