Appliance Repair reviews in Phoenix, Arizona

After technicians from another company made multiple unsuccessful attempts to repair my refrigerator, Aiden from the Appliance Doctor made an accurate diagnosis and then returned to do a successful repair. Scheduling with the Appliance Doctor was easy and efficient, and the degree of professionalism and customer service I got from Aiden was above and beyond. I wish I had contacted them in the first place.

Miguel from the Phoenix store #3 diagnosed, order ed and replaced a defective part on my range with efficiency and great customer service. Doctor Appliance was the 2nd company to come out to resolve the issue…. and Miguel patiently listened to me describe the issue and vent about the previous repair company that wasted my time. Miguel was courteous, thorough, and competent. I highly recommend.

A big thank you to Miguel, who went above and beyond to keep our service appointment. He overcame a few obstacles that pushed our time a little later than expected, but he communicated and showed up to address our refrigerator issue instead of rescheduling us for another day. I appreciate his professionalism and extra time he spent to ensure we were satisfied with his assistance.

We received excellent service and are looking forward to having a working dishwasher again! -
Honestly, this is the first service that would have warranted a 10 star rating if I could give it. They were amazing from the very beginning, great service, great communication and knowledgeable. Can’t say enough great things about them.

I need to make a change to this review. The washer still leaks... the technician came out again, stated that nothing was wrong technically from the machine, even though he diagnosed where the leak was coming from. He said the only thing they could do was replace the tray (the part where the leak was), and proceeded to tell me the the house water pressure was way to high. I checked the inspection report, and it was 60psi, dead middle for normal water pressure. Now I'm being told that this part is not covered on the home warranty. This whole process is infuriating because an apparently completely fine appliance is not functioning how it should, and the only thing they can say is to replace a perfectly fine part with a new part, that may not even fix the underlying issue, that an appliance is doing something it shouldn't and causing water damage to my home. The only reason it isn't 1 star is they are professional and honest, but I'm not happy with the result.

Fabrizio was very nice and tried coming over multiple times to try to fix my washer. Although, unable to, he was very knowledgeable and considerate about finding the problem. I will use this if I encounter a problem again with other appliances.

Not a good experience. The tech, Fabrizio, was a really nice guy. He arrived early and tried to fix my Samsung refrigerator. He was professional and very responsive to my questions. I thought I could recommend them for anyone that has a problem with their appliances. But unfortunately it turned out badly.
UPDATE. It’s been 36+ hours and unfortunately the freezer is still not cold enough. They thought it was because of blocked vents and dirty coils. I threw out a lot of food so the freezer is half full and no vents are blocked. It should be much less than 32°. I have called them to send the repairman back out. He didn’t have enough time to check the temperature before he left but now it’s been 36 hours so he can check it. I’ll update this after I hear from them.
UPDATE: Fabrizio showed up and spent over an hour on the phone with Samsung. He tried everything they suggested but he couldn’t fix it. He said is the sealed system- aka the compressor. I had to read the manual and tell him what kind of a compressor it was. The $190 that I paid for him to clean the coils was excessive now that I know all he did was vacuum them. But the estimated cost he quoted me to repair it is twice what I paid for it so I’m buying a new refrigerator. The compressor was under warranty but Appliance Care and Repair isn’t an authorized Samsung repair company and they don’t know how to repair them. So I’m starting over with a new Whirlpool.
Word to the wise. Make sure the repair service is Samsung authorized. Appliance Care and Repair were very quick to respond and the tech was very nice but I don’t recommend them. It was an expensive “repair” that didn’t work. I asked if they worked on Samsung refrigerators and they said they did. Their repairman didn’t know much about Samsung and spent the majority of the time on the phone in video calls with a Samsung repairman. He eventually “guessed” it was the compressor and said he doesn’t work on compressors. He never checked the pressure ore the coolant. Why send a repairman that can’t work on compressors? Because then they can charge you a 2nd time for a new technician for a different repair. As an aside, they had me Zelle my payment directly to the company owner. That’s a little sketchy. Lesson learned. -
Thanks so much Appliance Care and Repair for a quick and convenient repair. Our dryer repair was minor but necessary and Dan quickly identified the issue and fixed it. No extra fee was charged except our service call fee! Dan was courteous and efficient - thank you!
