I received a call from you folks this morning after I reached out to Home Advisor. A technician came to my home this morning. He asked me to turn my air conditioner on and mentioned that it sounded like the fan. He then grabbed his ladder and equipment went up onto the roof and checked on the unit. The technician mentioned that the fan was not working properly and that it would need to be replaced. He then placed a call and spoke with someone. Once the call was completed, he came down from the roof and told me I needed a new air conditioning unit. He provided me with two options and told me that it would cost me $7300. I was not comfortable with that stalled a little bit and then the technician left because he had another job to do. I contacted another company for a second opinion and found that yes my unit is old but the motor can be replaced and it would be fine. My understanding is that this company is trying to sell air-conditioning units because it is the summer season. I would not trust these people at all with your bit with their business.

I can't say enough good things about this company. I had several quotes and a couple set up but when Richard came to my house he was so knowledgeable and impressed me that I went with my gut and hired them on the spot. I am so glad I did. They had the best price, covered any drywall repairs and installed it the next day with no issues. Richard, Zack, Lance and George and the drywaller Gullermo were very professional and the price was right. Thank you for doing such a great job. We really appreciate it.

Good people here, and they are committed to making sure that you are satisfied with the job completed. I had a new extension built and upgraded my A/C and ductwork to accommodate it. Happy to say that it's working very well. Dean and Adam were out to make sure that the air distribution was reliable, and gave me some great tips I didn't even realize.

Very satisfied either the customer service. Had a misunderstanding on original unit to be installed. I called Jesse the owner and he replaced the unit immediately with no hesitation. Victor did a great job on the install and was able to troubleshoot on the existing duct work. Great value at a great price. I highly recommend Afordable Comfort!

They sold a system five years ago with a 10 year warranty to the people I bought the home from and cannot prove they explained anything to the original homeowner about registration and transfer to new owner. they said they had it in writing but when I ask them to provide it, they refused and called me yelling .No sticker on the unit for maintenance or repair. the unit failed a little more than five year’s from installation . instead of trying to help me straighten out this warranty information, I am stuck with a huge bill for replacing the compressor for close to $3,000. The unit which I now own was installed by them so I am pressing that I used the business because there is no space for this complication.

I would like to commend Jesse of Affordable Comfort for fixing an Air Conditioning Issue. Jesse was professional and knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed and fixed the issues. He is articulate and demonstrated his expertise. He made sure I understood the issues and told me exactly how he would fix it. I was very impressed with Jesse and would recommend him highly for HVAC repairs. Affordable Comfort is fortunate to have employees like Jesse.

Adam arrived as scheduled and explained the details of the service. When completed he told me of his findings and explained everything. He was thorough and timely in doing his job. He was very kind as well. I highly recommend Affordable Comfort LLC.

I found this company on Groupon as my AC unit has been struggling. They were offering a deal for $30 inspection. The dispatcher sent someone out yesterday. After “inspecting” the unit he said it was leaking freon and that it would cost $1300 to fix it. No pictures of where the freon was leaking from. I was shocked! The unit is only 5 years old but he swore up and down that it was 12 years old. I called Semper Fi out today for a second opinion. The coils were filthy and the fan blade to the condenser needs to be replaced but he said the pressure was perfectly fine and there is no leak! Beware of this company or at least the “techs” they employee. I’ll be going with Semper Fi for now on

a total rip off wouldn't recommend to anyone. had air conditioner installed less than 3 years ago came with 10 year warranty. well air conditioner failed just blowing hot air. they did show up very next morning about 830am. tech was at my house a total of 20 minutes said capacitor went out. he went on roof for 5 minutes it was fixed then handed me a bill for $398. I said wait what about the warranty I called the office. warranty only covers parts in this case it was a $24 capacitor warranty does not cover labor ,diagnostic , or showing up fee .totally outrageous. I would look elsewhere with a warranty like this that covers nothing look elsewhere

Now I am not one who typically writes a review for things, but this place really deserves all five stars. I called and a woman named Jasmin was very pleasing and patient with me as I tried to guess what my AC units problem was; very welcoming and helpful as she made my appointment. Better yet, when the technician, Jesse came out, he was just as friendly and kind about everything. He even gave me a few tips on changing the coils to the unit. Thank you so much for the excellent service!!

Just had my yearly maintenance check done by Chris from Affordable Comfort and he was great! Excellent customer service and attitude. He recommended a reseal of the main attic ducting which I agreed to have done. Hope AC can keep the customer service level as high! Well done!

Just had the follow up done which Chris recommended. Eric did an excellent job. I don't know where Affordable Care finds these tech's and admin dispatch like Jasmine who are customer centered and do very good work. Great group to work with and I am highly recommending them to friends and family. 5 star customer service and workmanship.

Chris is awesome! He diagnosed the issue, was pro, honest and extremely polite to our aging parents. He was professional all throughout and took the time to carefully explain the issue to them . He is a really good person who is obviously doing something right! He is THE example who gave us a renewed hope in humanity. He is our first request anytime we need more service.

Affordable Comfort was great! We had a situation where our air conditioner was blowing hot air at midnight in the middle of extreme weather temps. They were super responsive, reasonably priced to accommodate at midnight and were able to quickly fix the situation. All while keeping a smile on their face. I truly appreciate them coming out and working hard to fix our issue even at midnight. We will continue to use Affordable Comfort because of their great customer service and personal touch!

Where to begin, well 1st schedule appointment was cancelled and then the second appointment they had the wrong address which made the technician drive another 30 minutes. This is for the so called pre check up. Technician goes to the thermostat and has a hard time to turn the unit on which I had to do. Then he goes outside and checks the capacitor and says to me that there is a bubble on it and it needs to be replaced overcharging my unit. See attached photos. Then goes into my attic and checks the capacitor there once again bubble on it needs to be replaced. I get an email for the quote duct cleaning, coil cleaning and replacement of the 2 capacitors and an install of a start assist labor in all $2617.75 wow really. Then to do the absolute minimum replacing the 2 capacitors was $1120.25 wow unreal. Now the moral of the story is don’t price gouge because of inflation. I have an electronics degree I know what capacitors look like and by the way I used to install AC units. So for the tech coming out wanting a 5 star review so he can get a $10.00 bonus is sad to even mention that. Also might need some training on what capacitors look like from the manufacturer because I’m sure if he pulled one from his truck it would have the same rivet as mine did or the solder weld on the other one. Sorry but I will not do business with you Affordable Comfort.

UPDATE: Finally got w Valerie. She called and spoke calmly with me. She straightened everything out after being left a mess. She sent in the correct paperwork and the terms are correct now and what I was promised. So thank you, Valerie, for taking care of that, and basically saving the company.

I would not recommend Affordable Comfort EVER. The tech, Troy, came to my house and informed me I needed a new unit. It was $8800, but they could give me 60 months interest free financing. Great. Sign me up. I asked about paperwork. They told me there is no paperwork. Wells Fargo will send it with the retail credit card. I did not get 60 months zero interest as promised. I am being charged interest to the tune of 9.9%! I contacted Jesse and explained all this. He did nothing but speed talk over me and try to spin it saying that’s the interest you would pay if you had to pay it. No, Jesse. That is not. I am being charged interest. It is affecting my balance. I filed a dispute. It has yet to be resolved. This company CANNOT be trusted. I don’t recommend it.

This is a great company. They installed my unit six years ago. They come out and service it every six months they always clean up after themselves. You don’t even know they’re were here, very professional highly recommended. Thank you again Jesse for all your hard work

We have worked with Affordable Comfort for over 10 years and have always been happy with their service. Today we had Adam come by for a check up of our system and he was wonderful and took his time explaining his recommendations to continue to keep our 10 year old system alive. It is so nice to work with a company that we can trust and know they have quality employees like Adam to provide great service!

I had someone say they would be over to check my unit. He never showed. I left a message and he replied back that check ups were done in the spring.

Enter Affordable Comfort. I received a call from the office, said I believed I had someone coming. She told me she would follow up the next day. Low and behold she did! I set an appointment.

The time came for my appointment and Adam shows up at my door BEFORE the actual time scheduled. Very nice, very thorough and told me things that were wrong and what I needed. Even told me I could pass on one of the items. He also verified that what some other company told me (that I needed a whole new unit) was completely wrong and explained to me why. Who does that?

Needless to say, Affordable Comfort, and Adam, are my new Go To professionals when I need anything for my air conditioner. If you are looking for true, honest professionals, give them a try.
