Northern Air Mechanical Services Needs TEN Stars! Super Fast Response. The tech. Scott did NOT fail to check EVERY aspect of my AC unit inside and out. Never did he try to UP-SELL me on anything. I know more about AC units and the internals of them then I let Scott Know. Honest in EVERY detail. The cost was less than others (who wanted to ONLY sell me a NEW unit) that I contacted. 110% ALL THE WAY.

Northern Air recently helped me during crunch time. A client had to do an AC repair as part of the sale of his home. He wanted to use "his guy". The client waited until the last minute and then "his guy" no showed him for the appointment leaving us in a pickle to perform in time on our contract. Northern Air fit us in within hours despite already being booked to help us out. And their price came in less than my clients "guy". I would highly recommend them to my clients and will certainly be using them again personally. Thank you for your 5 Star work Northern Air!

Bad service, do not use. Had them come out to give me estimate to add ac to a room in our garage, I was not told there was a charge for the estimate and when the guy came to give me the estimate he tried to collect $95 for a service fee which I was told nothing about. I told him I wasn’t ever told about a fee and luckily I did not have to pay it. I got the estimate and was told the job could be completed within a week and I called and scheduled it within a week and two days before I got a call saying they couldn’t do job because it is too hot (no kidding it is hot, why do you think we want to add ac to a room) and you are an ac company, obviously you work in hot conditions. This should have been discussed at time when quote was done, not a few days before job. Customer service was rude when she called me back. Do yourself a favor and hire a company that can work when it is HOT out and a company that wants your service because they obviously demonstrated to me that they want my service!!!

I had my motor go out on my A/C and Jason came out to fix it. I received a flyer in my home owners packet for Northern Air. He is highly recommended by my neighbors as well and fixed it fast, didn't try to upsell. Did inform me of a maintenance package I should do twice a year and his price is very decent for that also. Thanks again!

Our home warranty provider sent Northern Air out to look at our AC unit which had stopped working. The technician, Doug, was great. After repairing the unit, Doug took the time to explain exactly what he did and walked us through some simple steps to ensure the unit was kept clean. We'll call them again if we have any issues.

Terrible...Unprofessional...Contentious
First off scheduling was a nightmare. They were supposed to contact us within 48 hrs after home warranty company sent them the work order, but I never heard from them. I tried contacting them several times to schedule a time but only received voicemail. Six days after they received the work order did I finally get a time scheduled. Jason, owner and technician, came out to do a tune-up on our A/C unit. After finding our system was low on freon because of some "loose fittings" he claimed that to top off system would be another fee because he was only there for an "inspection". To settle this dispute I contacted the warranty company while he was there. Warranty company said he was incorrect and that replenishing freon was part of the "tune-up". They also said tightening such fittings was part of tune-up and would not require a repair work order. This is when Jason became very combative and started making false claims about how much freon is covered, once again cleared up by warranty company. In an effort to collect another fee Jason said he ran a leak detection test to find leak. Total contradiction to his earlier statement of finding a loose fitting while inspecting. Beware of these scamming tactics. It seemed as though he was just there to make a quick buck and get out the door with no regard to my home or warranty. As he walked out the door he also made a threat that if we did not pay the extra fee the warranty company would come after us and affect our credit, what a joke! For a small business you would expect a much better client experience as it directly reflects his livelihood, but maybe not. Warranty company is now starting an investigation with their service provider relations department. They are also sending out another service provider to double check Jason's work.
***No where in the brochure does it say anything about how many pounds are required to justify another work order. Tightening fittings and adding freon are not repairs, they are part of tune-up. My home only has one unit to service as well. Also, after speaking with three different representatives at Old Republic they have all stated you are wrong. I did try to talk to you over the phone Jason and you hung up on me. I called your office to address the situation and she never called me back. Your actions speak louder than words about your client satisfaction. Once again instead of owning up to your mistake you are dancing around it and pointing fingers. Old republic is taking care of your service shortcomings. -
Company is always prompt in returning phone calls and the tech always let's customers know approximately the time they will be at your home. The tech is very personable, friendly and knowledgeable. Always let's customer know the problem and why the A/C isn't working. If parts needs replacement he let's customer know before replacing and the cost. These are very important information especially when dealing with cost.

Northern Air is a great company, everybody from the front office to the technician were terrific! They were efficient and friendly and fixed my unit to working condition, and now I have nice cold air, and in Arizona this time of year you really need it! Before they fixed it, it was so hot I couldn't even stay in my house, thanks again guys I will be highly recommending your company. From 1 to 10, they're definitely a 10!

We had a 16 year old system that was leaking refrigerant. My home warranty dispatched Northern Air in March and we knew adding refrigerant was probably just a patch, but it was all the warranty would cover at that time. In late April it had leaked out again and I asked for them to dispatch Northern Air again. This time the warranty was paying for a new system. Northern Air expedited the process and dispatched Scott and Jordan to install the new system. They worked from 8am - 5:30pm to install the system including hanging it in the attic. Very professional and hard working. I did have to pay a portion of the install and felt Northern Air was very fair. I would highly recommend them.

Overall my experience with Jason and Scott is awesome!! Please use them for your AC needs, they will take exceptional care of you. I had Northern Air install a new AC unit for me a month ago. Everything is still working fantastically. Scott came out to look at my existing system and take notes, Jason sent me the quote. Both of them were extremely professional and nice and answered my 1000 questions without hesitation. They both knew their stuff. I had 3 companies offer me quotes and ultimately decided on Northern Air because their customer service was beyond the other 2 and quality of the equipment to price. They also offered a 0% financing option if I needed. So I scheduled the install. On the day of the install, two of them came out, Scott and his apprentice, again both very professional and knowledgeable. I was prepared for a whole day of workers in my house and no AC in the meantime, thankfully it was early May, not mid-July. They started around 8am and finished up around 3pm. They tested the system, there was one little tweak that needed done, they didn't leave until everything was working satisfactory. They cleaned up their work area entirely, wiped down all surface areas, cleaned the floor where they worked and kept their equipment. It's like they weren't even there. Before he left Jason answered any additional questions I had and showed me how to use the new Wifi T-Stat. Which, by the way, I highly recommend and has a rebate from APS. I will of course have them back for any maintenance needed and would recommend them for new equipment. I cannot comment on their repair skills because I did not utilize that, but I'm sure they know their stuff in that area as well.

I've had some business with Northern previously and was always very happy with their work. Today they came out to replace and install a new system and I'm very happy with what was done. I gathered bids and was thrilled that "my guy" came up with the best quote. Scott and Jordan were on time and very knowledgeable. They were conscientious with my dogs and made sure gate and security door were kept closed. 100% recommend Northern.
Fresh add: I am now just over 10 days in on the new a/c. Have been saving $3-5 every day, sometimes more, over what my daily use was before. That is going to be a HUGE savings for me! Couldn't be happier.
2023 update: little past due for maintenance, but they worked with my schedule and got me in on the one day I had available. On time, courteous as always. So nice to have continued business with this company. -
Outstanding and prompt service re problem detection and repair on our AC/heat exchanger; the Northern Air service reps, Brian and Jesse were professional, knowledgeable, and customer friendly. Excellent experience!
-
Martin did an amazing job diagnosing and fixing our water heater! I was expecting to have the cost of a replacement, he was able to repair it for a much lower cost! Thank you!

Another company said it was a motor and after over a hour tried to upsell us. Ethan at Northern came out and quickly determined it was a compressor and fixed it in 20 minutes.

Brian, Jesse, and Shane were all great. Professional, knowledgeable, and skilled at what they do. Price couldn't be beat and communication was excellent. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic. I moved away from Parker and Sons because they grossly overcharge and I've had a few less than honest experiences. Northern Air has provided great service. Most recently, my AC went out on a Saturday and I've got 2 babies at home. They came out same day, on a weekend, and got it fixed. Great service.

After receiving several quotes for a new AC system installation and feeling not to comfortable with them. I finally found Jason with Northern Air. Jason provided me with all the information I needed and then more. I felt very comfortable selecting his company for my ac unit needs. Jason and his crew installed my new unit yesterday and all I can say is they are all very professional, honest, and courteous. They delivered the service one would expect. I was very impressed and want to thank Doug, Jason and crew for a high quality job. Very informative and experts at their craft. I highly recommend this company to anyone that wants great service from intelligent AC experts. Thank you guys for all you do!

We had Northern Air visit us for an air conditioner check up. The service team was very thorough, professional and friendly and gave us a great report. We highly recommend Northern Air for your furnace and air conditioner check ups and service needs.

I have recently had an AC replacement and a rather unique line set repair done. Shane was professional, responsive, and diligent. They ended up being the best price and were able to get the work done in peak summer season.

Two years ago we purchased two new units from Northern Air. We also purchased an extended warranty to cover this investment. We were disappointed to learn that our warranty had expired. After discussing the situation with Tiffany we were able to come to an amicable resolution. I appreciate Tiffany’s ability to accept our frustration with the situation and meet us in the middle. I also learned not to rely solely on manufacturers warranty’s and will be sure to purchase a yearly service plan to avoid this situation again.
