Had an appointment with this company and they were almost an hour late.
So I called to find out what time they would be coming and I was told they are no longer doing duct work service until the end of summer.
I understand it’s hot and you do not want to be someone’s attic when it’s very hot.
That’s why they offered me the first appointment of the day. And then all the sudden they decided that they are not going to be doing this service until the end of summer.
Really would’ve been nice to have somebody call and let me know since my appointment was on the books. Seems like a fly-by-night company.

I was returning from a trip and packing for another the next day when my AC failed on a summer night. The technician arrived less than an hour after my first call. He solved the problem quickly, courteously, and was gone. He was a consummate professional, especially given the hour. Very much appreciated the peace of mind provided on short notice.

Can't say enough about this company! First off, everyone is so professional and friendly. They are super fast to get whatever your issue is fixed. I called numerous companies before finding Arizona Refrigeration Service Inc. Everyone was extremely informative and never made you feel like you were bothering them when I asked a thousand and one questions.

A perfect 5 star company, which I can suggest everyone. Jim and Scott are truly amazing. We were having a problem with the leak in the coil of the air handler, so we called them and the continuous cooperation was simply incredible. They came regularly to add freons and service till they installed the new Air Handler. They even gave us a portable AC. Thanks Jim 👍👍

On a 117 degree day Az Refrigeration did a same day call and got us up and running.
We've been using them since 2010 when we bought two units from them after interviewing multiple companies. When we needed new units at our current home we didn't hesitate to use them. They used enough man power that two new units were installed in one day! The team that came out was top notch...professional and polite.

Most of my experience when buying a new AC unit was fine with this company, until I sold my house. The buyer asked about the extended warranty being transferable. When I called these guys to find out, I discovered that only a portion was transferable, which I was never told. I couldn't find anywhere in my paperwork that described this. So they essentially got free money from me that no one will ever get to use. I didn't have time to fight them, so I let it go, but if you're going to go with this company make sure you ask questions and get everything in writing.

Great experience! Have used them for over twenty-five years. From Dale's initial evaluation to installation by Santos and his partner, they always exceed my expectations. A little pricey, but you expect to pay for quality products and workmanship.

I just wanted to let you know how pleased I am with your sales and installation services. Not only did you quote me a lower price than everybody else for a basic replacement unit for my 25+ year old equipment when I asked about high efficiency units you explained in detail what the differences were along with the pros and cons of going in that direction. And then you quoted me a price comparable to the basic replacement units everyone else was quoting. I chose the higher efficiency Trane and still got a better deal than with any of your competitors. It was the end of the week and we had been without central air for a couple of weeks and had already convinced ourselves that we would need to wait until the following week for the install when you informed us you were willing to install on a Saturday. Your installers showed up half an hour earlier than expected and went straight to work. They were very professional and explained everything they needed to do. I was extremely satisfied with their workmanship and if you had looked for evidence they had been there the new unit on my roof would have your only clue. I am extremely happy with my new A/C unit and recommend you to any one who asks if I know any reputable A/C service dealers in the Phoenix area.

Service men were friendly and professional enough. However when they came for annual maintenance/cleaning, instead of suggesting the 2 repairs that were actually needed (2 capacitors causing other components to over Amp), instead they recommended a long list of repairs/replacements with the most cost effective option being a full replacement.

I've known Bill Connelly for many years on a professional basis, and in the past, he would NEVER recommend a unit be replaced unless it was absolutely necessary. I am disappointed in the new direction his company is going. I hope he goes back to the way he used to run his business, with care and suggesting needed repairs only versus a complete replacement when not necessary.

We have been customers of ARS for over 20 years and have never had a complaint. Just yesterday we had our routine PMA maintenance check and everything went fine. Just wanted to thank our technician, Stephen L. for being very professional, efficient, courteous and highly sensitive to our covid precautions of masking and social distancing. I'll say that I was grateful that they squeezed me in the next day after I called. However, they recommended that BOTH of my AC units be replaced. My regular AC guy was not available until today, so I had him come out for a 2nd opinion. He said there was nothing wrong with the units. Problem started when condensation line was leaking in garage. Then, coils froze. We ran the fan for a while, replaced the filter (which was probably the cause of all of this) and then everything was fine. AZ Refrigeration charged me $211.88 to cover trip charge, taking some sheet metal off to look at the coils, and reattaching the plastic pipe to the outlet drain. What did 'my guy' charge? Nothing!

We had an after hours air-conditioning emergency and our regular repairman was not available. I found these people after recognizing their distinctive vans with the AZ flag on them. I called, needing somebody out right away. Within 90 minutes, the repairman was at the front door with ID. He found the problem and was able to repair it even it though it was now after sunset. He was neat, courteous, honest, and direct and advised me to have the regular service company out as soon as they had an appointment available, since the part was under warranty with them.
I now have another A/C service company that I can keep in mind when hot weather fills everyone's schedules.
They also offered coupons off service calls and repairs, so I even saved some money.
Thank you Arizona Refrigeration for saving me an overnight hotel stay.

A friend recommended this company and said she had used them for many years. I called at 12:30 pm and Kelly was very kind and so calm even though I was very nervous. I've heard so many awful stories about wait times, etc. Kelly had Dave at my place very quickly. Dave was very nice and professional. He had the part with him and fixed the unit and it was blowing cold at 1:50 pm. I know they probably can't do that every time, but WOW! Now that is outstanding customer service! I'll make sure my friends know who to call in the future. And I won't call anyone else!

Their service is excellent. Very knowledgeable service techs. Have used them now for many years, for warranty yearly service and for a new system install. I highly recommend their service. They installed my refrigeration/heat system six years ago, and it has worked great with no problems. They installed two other systems at our previous home, which we were at for 10 years, and we never had any problems with those.
