Sterling arrived to service our ice machine after placing a service call in the day before. The technician was professional, just as the scheduler was. Very reliable and professional service.

I was opening a new restaurant inside of Walmart two days before opening we turned on our walk in cooler it did not work Compressor was out .I called General Parts I talk to a person named Verna I believe , I told her the urgency of the necessity to open before the weekend and the problem we were having after rearranging their busy schedule because I believe it was on a Thursday that I called they were able to get two technicians out here right away . It took two days but they got all the parts they search several parts supply houses and finally found parts and got me open and running on time I highly recommend them because they were able to help me when I was really struggling they have also done work at my other restaurant in the Tucson premium outlets they’ve also been professional On time Verna in the office is very accommodating and patient and also the technicians are very knowledgeable and patient

Today our freezer went out and we called General Parts to repair the unit. Robert was the tech who came by to fix the problem. He was a very helpful and professional man, he informed me what the problem was and told me what to do if the problem ever occurs again. Thanks Robert.

I have used this company over the years and have never been disappointed. I am a business broker and help buyers with the acquisition of restaurants etc. I recently used this company again for an equipment inspection prior to a sale of a business. They were terrific! on-time, thorough, affordable and very professional. I would definitely recommend them.

They were helpful and professional the entire process of my repair. It was a great experience working with Katie and her crew from General Parts. It is so hard to find quality professional help these days.

Worst customer service I've ever received. The first time I called them It took them over a week to come to look at my broken oven, by then I had already had someone else come fix it. Thought I'd give them another try; called for service, after four days I called them to see what was up and they gave ME attitude!! They finally come four days after that! He looks at the oven for 2 min makes me a bill for $168 and leaves without fixing a thing. THANKS BUT NO THANKS!

I always enjoy using General Parts! Always professional and knowledgeable! I even feel comfortable purchasing equipment off of eBay because I know these guys can fix it regardless! Technician CW is the man! Smart, professional, and downright cool! Keep it up guys

I was treated very rudely by nicole on the phone. AfterI endured her abuse she told me the tech would call me to set up a timefor the service (he never called but did show up the next day and had to wait because we weren't there) Tech was nice but did nor fix the problem. He told me he would order a new thermopile and that the repair would be covered under warranty.
When I didn't hear back in a couple days I called to check on the status and once again was treated very badly by nicole as she informed that it was my fault the tech had to wait for someone to show up when he did not call and that I would be billed for the non repair, but would not tell me the amount they wanted to charge. She did say the service manager would call. He did not call.
So a couple days pass and I called again. This time Laura answered and she was much more friendly and assured the service manager would call to work this out. It has been a week since that call with Laura and no return call.
Fryer doesn't work and the manufacturer suggests calling Tech 24 instead. I have tried to be patient with these guys but to no avail.
Very disappointed will general parts. -
Hired company to install a commercial dishwasher. It has been an absolute nightmare. The customer service is a joke. They NEVER follow through with promised call backs or respond to emails. I have initiated every communication. Now trying to blame the actual machine for their horrible install. Beware. They are a nightmare.

Tech (Robert) was sent out quickly to repair a leak in our fryer. Found the problem and ordered parts. Explained that he would return once the part came which he did today. Installed new part within a few minutes and explained what was done. Excellent service. I appreciate the fact that Robert takes the time to explain the problem that was found and how it will be resolved.

They had the detailed information for my 87 v6 none turbo Toyota pickup. GP Sent us a trans with tag calling out 22RE for 4 cyl ( they knew that wasn't correct). Charged me Freight to return the wrong part, Their mistake not mine. Started out asking $500 to return, after much back and forth charged $263 return freight. Now Increased the pricing from orginal quote to be charged for correct trans.
Not the best for taking ownership to a mistake! -
I hired this company to fix a pipe leak at my business. They charged me $370, and the leak returned the next day because the technician didn't do the job properly. They couldn't send anyone to fix it the same day, and I had to close my business. I ended up calling another company to fix the leak because they took too long to send someone. Who will compensate me for the loss I faced due to the closure? Very disappointing experience.

The tech came out multiple times to diagnose a commercial freezer. He had no idea what he was doing with this unit. He spent the majority of time on the phone with other techs from the company. He replaced parts that did not need replacing. He did not know how to test compressor. He spent hours on the unit and achieved absolutely nothing and did not repair the unit. He left the inside of the unit torn apart with parts and screws all over. The capacitors were left hanging, the screws were not put back in the start relay. Wires were left loose. I was told the start relay could not be ordered but they could order a similar part that should work but it would take 2-3 weeks. I ordered the exact start relay needed (that's what I was told the problem was). I had it the next day after I ordered it. The new start relay was installed. That was NOT the problem.
I had a second opinion from another company. The tech was here for 15 minutes, put everything back together that was left in shambles by your technicians and was able to determine within that time frame that the compressor was indeed bad. He showed me how he tested it and exactly how he came to that conclusion. He said that the capacitors and start relay were fine. So your company really just wasted time and billing hours, did not provide a solution and still did not inform me what the problem was with the unit yet I was billed over $1200. Basically I paid you $1200 to do absolutely nothing. No diagnoses was made. Nothing was achieved by your tech and no solution was provided by your company. -
We had an issue with our stand alone ice machine in our shop. Great customer service and repair was done same day. Great quality work and fast service. Thank you!

Hidden charges. I was not informed about the additional charges, which totaled over $120. The service is located in central Tucson (85719), but I was charged a $62.00 Zone Travel Charge on top of the $65.00 Service Call Charge—poor response from the support team. I do not recommend anyone go with General Parts.
I provided my credit card details before scheduling the service. After two months, they finally contacted me regarding the declined payment, which they claimed was due to incorrect information. I had been trying to contact them for months to resolve the extra charges and the credit card issue, but received no response. Instead, they sent threatening emails warning that the account would be sent to collections and additional fees would apply. He never answered my call/responded to my email properly (Brian Reynolds)
After calling more than five times today, I finally connected with the manager. Unfortunately, he did not explain the extra charges.
The ironic part? When I called today to settle the invoice, the representative used the payment details she had on file, and the transaction was successful. This reflects poor team communication and mismanagement. -
Thank you David he did a great job!

5 Star was recommended to us when we bought our house and needed a few appliances repaired and billed to the previous owner for closing. We were out of town so we never met them. When we moved into the house everything was fine but just last week our dryer heat element went bad. We found contact info for 5 Star and since we don’t know anyone in our new town we scheduled an appointment on their internet sight. Got the call 30 minutes before the repairman was to arrive, as advertised, a pleasant and polite young man showed up with his tool bag right on time. After a brief conversation he started taking apart the dryer. Within 15 minutes he found the heater plate was broken and that he had called the supply house and they had one in stock, quoted us a price and said he could go get it and come right back. We asked him to check the washer because it was banging around during use and he did so, at first guessing that it might be the shock absorbers. Upon further inspection he explained that there were some bearings around the tub that were worn and although he had done the repair when requested by others it cost more than a new washer. We thanked him for his honesty and he went to get the part for the dryer. Shortly thereafter he returned with the part, installed it, vacuumed out the inside and reassembled the dryer. It runs great. We highly recommend 5 Star.
