I had an absolutely terrible experience with 5 Star Appliance Repair, and I strongly recommend avoiding them.

My refrigerator was working before they touched it, but after their service it completely stopped working. On top of that, they charged me extremely inflated prices for parts — easily 4–5 times what those parts actually cost.

After installing the parts they claimed were necessary, the refrigerator still doesn’t work at all. When I contacted them about the issue they created, instead of fixing their mistake or restoring the fridge to the condition it was in before their visit, they told me I would have to pay AGAIN for more overpriced parts with no guarantee it would even solve the problem.

So to summarize:
• My fridge worked before they came.
• They charged outrageous prices for parts.
• After their “repair,” the fridge no longer works.
• Their solution is to charge me even more money.

This feels incredibly dishonest and unprofessional. A reputable company should stand behind their work and fix problems they cause — not create a bigger issue and then demand more money.

This was easily one of the worst service experiences I’ve ever had. I regret calling them and would strongly advise anyone to look elsewhere before trusting this company with your appliances.

David came out the same day, communicating before coming out and arrived at the promised time. Upon arriving he was polite informative and professional. The problem was corrected in less then an hour and the price was more then fair. It is hard to find honest people in any business, so you can consider us a new life long customer. Great experience! Vladimir, the service technician who arrived for the call, was excellent. Called before arrival, was polite and very knowledgeable. Most importantly, the honesty shown in communicating the issue with the dryer helped us determine that repair was likely going to be more expensive than it was potentially worth. We may not have ultimately needed a repair today, but the honestly and professionalism shown has ensured that we will always use 5 Star for appliance repair from now on.

Rene was great! The appt had the standard 3 hr service window and he called ahead and provided a more specific time frame. He not only fixed our washer but ran me through additional appliance maintenance and machine diagnostics. Very personable, knowledgeable, and great customer service. Will definitely use this company again for any appliance issues/repairs.

Alex was great! He arrived early, was very courteous, and serviced three of our appliances in the span of two hours 🙌🏼 I explained my concerns, he showed me pictures of what he found, and he explained what he did to solve the problems. The best part? I called yesterday for an appointment, and all of the issues I was having were solved in less than 24 hours. AZ Appliance Repair is awesome! Will definitely use them in the future.

I recently used Arizona Appliance Repair for the first time, and I could not have been happier with the experience!

Rene was the technician that came out to my home to sort out why my above-counter microwave was not working. He sorted out what the issue was, then provided me an estimate before doing any repair work. After agreeing to the cost, Rene then diligently worked to get my microwave working again. He also patiently answered some questions I had about my dishwasher.

I decided to try a different appliance repair service and am so glad I did.  Nothing against another long-standing Tucson company we've used for many years, but after 2+ days, no response to a repair request.  So, I called Arizona Appliance Repair about 9:30am yesterday and got an appointment for 2:30pm the same day.  Rene was one of the best repairmen I've ever had.  Was with him the whole time and he explained everything he was doing to evaluate the grinding noise in the spin cycle of our 20-year-old Maytag.  He did a thorough testing and since a new part was going to cost over $700, said it was better to invest in a new machine and then proceeded to give me recommendations on brands and types.  He had a great "bedside manner" and I highly recommend him, his expertise and his knowledge and experience.  Thank you, Rene.

We had a washer malfunction late last night. I called this morning and was able to get an appointment with Mike. He thoroughly checked out our washing machine and had it fixed in about an hour or two. Mike took the time to show me exactly what happened. Hopefully we don’t have to use them again but, will definitely call AZ appliance repair if needed. Excellent service both from the lady I spoke to as well as Mike our technician!

Awesome experience! Always leary when I need to call any company for a repair and Mike from Arizona Appliance Repair was amazing! Honest!!! Explained the process and was fast. Got them on speed dial now. I will never call another appliance repair company.

Rene did a quick and thorough job repairing our dryer - and went above and beyond in service!

Rene went above and beyond to help me solve the problem of defective water filters in my GE refrigerator. 2 of the ones I bought from Amazon had defective chips so he told me to buy a other one at an appliance store in town. I bought that one and when I put that one in it didn't work either!! Rene came back the next day again and took the water filter back to the store for me and bought another one and came back to my house and installed it for me. And this one actually worked!!! Miraculous!! And he didn't charge a penny for coming back and doing all that running around for me. So this repair company is the best!!!
