My neighborhood was slammed by a hail storm in September '16, unexpectedly putting me in the market for a new roof, which is like finding yourself in the market for a new dentist. I started asking around for references. One of the people I asked was a retired roofer, and without hesitation, gave me the name Castle Roofing. I gave them a call and scheduled an estimate. After presenting the estimate to my insurance agent and getting the go-ahead, the work was scheduled. Work began on the date given, by a crew that worked amazingly well together. The crew functioned as though they had been together for a considerable amount of time. No bickering, everyone knew their function and performed their jobs well. Clean-up was done at the end of each work day, again as a team effort. The second coat of roof paint was delayed by weather for 4 or 5 days, but at the end of the project, everything was just as expected. I am very happy with the outcome, and have recommended Castle Roofing to others in the area effected by the same storm. No regrets whatsoever!

Built a new garage and Castle did a great job. Took the time to explain the process and the materials they were using. They began and finished the job when they said they would. I've recommended them to the neighbors who have watch me build the new garage. I'll have Castle take care of all my roofing needs.

I have had great experiences with Castle Roofing! They put in a new roof for my home in 2013, and as per their guarantee, I had them re-coat it in 2018. I had a leak in 2020 which seems to have been caused by the installation of solar. This week I called them on Monday after hours and left a message about a leak coming from my garage skylight . I heard from Kelsey on Tuesday, Jordan was out on Wednesday and my skylight was replaced today (Friday). Excellent responsiveness at a very busy time of year for their industry. The crew that came to Kool Coat was professional, friendly and very respecful of property.

Three years after my roof was installed I had developed a leak that damaged the kitchen roof. My first appointment was canceled the time when they should have shown up. I then made numerous calls until finally Jorden check the drywall damage and roof and told me it was shoddy work on their part. He told me to call and make an appointment. After that my calls were completely ignored.
Update The sheathing was 30 years old and not replaced when they did my roof. I now have issue with my roof dipping and soft spots. This was supposed to be a 30 year roof. Top of the line shingles were a waste.

You cannot go wrong in choosing Castle Roofing - they were very responsive to our needs and flexible enough to modify their existing roof repair plan to meet our revised needs. They were punctual and did quality work. We are VERY HAPPY with our new roof and highly recommend this roofing company.

Extremely pleased with Castle Roofing. Recently used them to recoat our roof before the upcoming monsoon season. Although they were booked a month out, we had planned ahead and had no problem with their schedule. John kept in communication with our scheduling and is a really nice guy. Jacob came to coat our roof. He was on time, extremely polite and nice, and did an amazing job!! It has never looked better. I would definitely use them again.

UNTRUSTWORTHY, POOR QUALITY, TERRIBLE COMMUNICATION. 0 stars.
Castle roofing installed our flat roof in 2017, and the previous owners paid to reseal is in 2022 (per
Standard recs). Since moving in a year ago we have found leaks and black mold in MULTIPLE PLACES, and have had 3 different roofers come out and say the roof was failing. Castle roofing came back out and blamed the previous owners for not paying their bills (untrue - we have paid receipts). They did reseal the roof for us (the sealing is supposed to last 5 years not only 2), however refused to pay for mold remediation (we have two babies, one with asthma), and are not extending our warranty (which means we inevitably have to pay them to reseal the roof again in 2-3 years). Since all of this, communication has been terrible, taking days to call back and WEEKS to respond to emails. Will be reporting to the BBB.

There is nothing worse than a damaged roof (ugh, aside from plumbing issues 😕)! We've always found peace of mind in knowing we have a reputable and understanding company to turn to for roofing. We have been using Castle roofing for years now!!! They're family owned and operated and a local business. How much better can you get!?! I'll tell you! They understand the roofing business through and through. This is not my area of expertise by any means; but, when I've called, they've been kind and understanding. They show up on time and have communicated with me through what we needed and all options. At a previous home, we swapped out an old nasty swamp cooler for central ac. The swamp cooler left it overwhelmingly damaged. We first turned to them for an estimate, then hired them for all the repairs. Amazing service from start to finish! When we purchased our new home, we absolutely had to have them out. Jordan came and inspected for us, then gave advice and recommended some of the great products they use. We're 6 years into home ownership and have found a great deal of peace of mind in knowing our home was cared for from day 1 and continues to be. We highly recommend Castle Roofing. They have integrity and are professional!!

    Update March 2025 :
We just had Castle Roofing out for the first time, since moving into our home and their guys were efficient in setting up and getting things done. I love knowing that there is a professional and reliable company like Castle Roofing in Tucson. Knowing our roof and home is in good hands is incredibly comforting. Amazing company. Highly recommend!!

Most of the employees are very helpful and kind in this store. However, I am very disappointed with the follow up upon making major purchases. I ordered blinds and paid for installation services. The blinds arrived to my house and upon arrival I called the store to arrange for an installation date. I am still awaiting a call from the third party representatives to arrange a date and time for the installation. I called a Home Depot employee whom states all they can do is email the installers to call me to schedule an appointment. This is not the first time I had issues with scheduling installations. I had to call and stay on top of the third party business in order to get my shutter blinds installed as well. I thought it would be different on the blinds so I took another chance. Lesson learned after spending almost $10,000.00 within the last two months for home improvements through the Home Depot is that it's probably best to deal with the third party from the start instead of going through Home Depot. This way you cut out the middle man and get what you are paying for when you want it...not when they want to give it to you!

Promotional/Seasonal "AC Check" by Parker & Sons, a business partner with Home Depot.

--Trust is earned, and once it is broken, you NEVER earn it back.--

** I will no longer be using Parker & Sons to complete an AC check or for any HVAC issues, in the future.**

It's a shame that we cannot trust companies to do right by the customer--just because the company wants to "make a few bucks more." My family and I feel that we were taken advantage of, mislead, and that Parker & Sons tried to "upsell" us on a service that we did not need.

Pros: Friendly and personable in-store Associate who helps to schedule a seasonal AC evaluation.

Cons: a few, and they get worse-- 1) a Parker & Sons employee calls to advise me that the Service Tech is running a few minutes behind; 2) lacks professionalism during conversation (sounds like he's "just there for the paycheck"--needs retraining in speaking with customers). *Already off to a bad start and "the face" or initial representation for Parker & Sons.* 3) unable to reach ANYONE at the number listed 4) tried to "upsell" a service that was NOT needed, which was several hundred dollars.

"A few minutes behind," means 15 min at minimum and 30 min max. 1 1/2 to 2 hours later, still no service tech, and no courtesy phone call. (Time-Stamps are available.) I call the number on my Caller ID, multiple times and there is no answer. I call the number, sent by text, regarding the initial scheduling. She is quite professional and also upset that I have not been contacted and asks if want to reschedule or cancel-- I reschedule. The rescheduled date arrives, Tech calls and is on time. The Tech is courteous, completes the evaluation and proceeds to tell me that, "there should be water coming out of the PVC valves," and he's "concerned." The Tech pulled apart the PVC valve, removed a minimal amount of dry leaves and dust. He proceeds to tell me that if the the inside and outside PVC valves are clogged with debris, it could create a big problem inside the drywall and that he could fix it for $602, "right now," or choose a less expensive fix for approx $500. While his evaluation was correct, I elected to call 2 other HVAC companies for "a second opinion." I'm glad I did. Both Techs told me that there was a little to no debris (each Tech also ran hot water down the PVC pipes to remove any potential blockages) and told me: for there to be "water present" or water trickling out of the outside PVC valves, there HAS to be humidity--of which there was 0% on the day of the initial eval by the Parker & Sons Tech, and in the following days, after. Low and behold, a week later, it rained and guess what? The PVC valves released water.

Lesson learned: the $49 promotional fee for a Seasonal AC Check is not worth it. Two other companies were honest in their assessment. Parker and Sons has lost this customer, for good.

    Do better.
