We had them completely redo our backyard. The workmanship was excellent and communications were good. They kept the natural features and helped us be greener and not waste water. They worked around an existing pool and made our backyard a wonderful place to be.

We used this company to build our pool because of hearing reputable things about them. But it’s not worth the headache of having to deal with a project manager that doesn’t have the skills to manage his contractors. Contractors that laid down the travertine was sloppy and did a horrible job with the evenness of the travertine and left concrete stuck on travertine throughout the yard and left their mess. When the contractor, Chuy, came out to fix it all he did was pounded down the travertine, chipped some travertine in the process and didn’t fix all of them. When I contacted the project manager, Eddie, he didn’t seem to care. It felt like they could care less now that they got paid. At this point I got the construction manager, Tim, involved. Tim came out to see what I was talking about and agreed that the work was done poorly. I was asked by Eddie to tag all the travertine I wanted fixed, again, which I did. When Chuy came out a second time they made it worse again making some areas of travertine very sharp and actually chipped some more travertine and they left even more messes around the yard. The third time coming out Tim, Eddie, and Chuy all came out at the same time to meet with me to be on the same page as far as what work was needed. Immediately walking into our yard Tim saw areas that were really bad. He told Eddie and Chuy to take care of the problem and to ensure that the yard is left cleaned up. Chuy finally fixed the unevenness but there are still some travertine that are chipped from his work but at this point I don’t want him ruining anymore. But of course the mess around the yard was not cleaned up at all which I contacted Eddie about it. He never responded. I gave him a week before contacting him again. I also informed Tim about it. Eddie finally came out on his own to pick up the mess. Eddie is a nice guy and all but to be a project manager takes skills to manage at a high level, which was lacking. I do not recommend this company due to the lack of quality and care especially when the customer is paying a lot of money for quality work. There were other concerns that I did not mention in this review but with the issues mentioned alone is something I would recommend to others to avoid if they don’t want work that look years old when it’s a brand new build.

We are in the middle of a pool build by Cimarron now. The quality of the build has been good, but communication has been poor.
We get almost no communication from the construction manager. The salesperson responds to phone calls but doesn't have any useful information. Our project now looks like it will be delayed a few weeks from original timeline, and for 3 weeks we have been trying to find out what timeline will be.

Cimarron did some work on our backyard and we are extremely happy with the results. They extended,painted and texturized the pool deck. They also installed artificial grass. No fertilizing, cutting or watering. We are very happy with the results and will definitely use them in the future.

My pool pump went 'dead'.Wasn't pulling water anymore. I could hear it buzzing and I could feel it heating but it wasn't pumping. I called Cimarron Circle because I had been doing business with them for years (disclaimer: I maintain their website). Doug sent me his technician the next day. The gentleman was courteous, he knew what he was doing: it turned out that leaves had accumulated into the pump itself (not the baskets) and were preventing the water to flow through. The technician opened up the front part of the pump, removed the gunk, closed it, and it was running again. Fast, competent, and not costly. Exactly the kind of news I was needing.

UPDATE: I have changed my original rating. Rob Staples saw my first review and called me directly himself. He explained the confusion and took full responsibility for the communication issues. The problems were fully corrected and all happened immediately. I'm completely satisfied and wholehearted recommend Cimarron. Problems happen in everything, right? But fixing them because they care about doing it right is pretty rare. Thanks Cimarron!

Absolutely the best. They do things the way I would do them. Do it right with top materials. Helpful and provided us with coaching when new installed equipment operation or questions have arisen even a year later regarding our water features and plantings. We truly enjoyed the crew that worked on our job. The guys were kind, funny and respectful. The fruit trees are thriving thanks to all the preparation that we asked for but they enhanced with their design experience. Highly recommend!

The service team at Cimarron has been great. Mike Goode in particular has just been stellar. He has helped us with technical issues almost immediately and has always gone out of his way to provide excellent support.

Want a pool and deck remodel. Owner came out to assess job. Said needed to get back to office to do some paper work , but would be back following week to take measurements and provide estimate. Never happened. I understand "contractor speak" for not wanting job. But please, be straight up about what you are representing as a pool contractor. Just say it, "this is not the kind of job we do".

Cimaron Circle built my pool and has serviced the pool for the last seven (7) years. They have always been prompt when I have had to make an appointment and the quality of the replacement parts and pricing have been fair. Carey and John are friendly and do a great job in doing and completing work on my pool and are always available to offer insights on issues that I am having and answering my questions. I would highly recommend them.

I would definitely recommend this company to others. While I was unable to actually receive regular maintenance due to location, nivea was very helpful in helping me solve the issues I was having. I was even able to talk with the service guy over the phone. He also was very helpful and I did not even need to have some one come out because communication was that good. Great company all together.

We are very pleased with the pool service we have received from John. He has taken a personal interest in the condition of our pool and has helped us deal with some tricky challenges relating to pool chemistry and algae prevention. I recommend him highly.

We hired Cimarron Circle to build a pool and hot tub for us. We were concerned because we weren’t going to be there for the initial part of the construction and it was not a standard rectangular design. Our Project Manager (John) kept us updated on the progress with phone calls and face time video calls which were extremely helpful. The entire backyard was transformed into a beautiful oasis and we love it. We also have Cimarron perform our weekly / biweekly pool maintenance and are very happy with that service also. Our pool is a salt pool and there was a bit of a learning curve but the team at Cimarron has been patient and helpful with us through this process. I would highly recommend them to friends and family.

The in house talent Cimarron has is second to none. I'll never forget their design head coming to our property and "drawing" the outline of our pool on the ground. It was a square footprint with a dome type head. He had a can of spray paint and he literally walked the shape of the pool, the dimensions marked by just a few markers, and he "drew" the pool on the ground as he walked. I thought, "That's the pool?" and...it was. It was to become the exact outline of the pool. And it was perfect. That's Cimarron, with talent from top to bottom. Don't hesitate.

First of all I will say that I've used this their pool maintenance service for many years and have always been pleased with their pool maintenance staff. However, I had the unfortunate need to have them replace our pool filter. During the removal process they cracked the intake and discharge PVC pipes where they were glued to other fittings. They tried to stop the leak by using epoxy but it did not stop the leaks and they came out twice to repair it with no luck. They said that pipes were old and cracks happen. They provided me with an estimate of almost $600 to perform the repairs. I thought that was high and expected that since they caused the issue, they may offer to at least split the costs. They refused to take any of the responsibility, so I contacted another company and received a quote of $180 for the project. So now I have a new company doing my pool maintenance and any service I may need. For just pool cleaning, they were fine but for anything else, I would advise to use another company.

I have a had a great experience with Cimarron Circle Construction. They're currently building my pool after what was delay after delay from no fault of their own (my own house construction, retaining wall construction, etc). They've stuck with me throughout. Rob (the owner) is a great guy and easy to work with. I can update the post after the pool is done, but so far so good (at rebar stage currently).
