We recently had our water heater fail. Kustom Disaster Recovery went above and beyond to take care of our home. They were professional, prompt, and did a good job repairing all the damage the water heater had created. I would recommend them to anyone!

Kustom Restoration did an outstanding job restoring my back patio balcony after fire damage occurred when I was using a propane weed torch. From start to finish, their professionalism and attention to detail were evident. They arrived quickly to my home and assessed the extent of the damage and provided a comprehensive plan for restoration.

Their team worked efficiently to remove debris, repair structural damage, and restore the patio to its pre-fire condition. The craftsmanship was impeccable, and they used high-quality materials to ensure durability and longevity.

We are still in the middle of our restoration process, but I wanted to give a shout out to Josie and her team who packed up our contents. Great attention to detail, fast, professional. So, far, all of my experiences with Kustom, from my initial crisis call to Nate and his follow ups, to the ongoing coordination with Daniel, have been excellent.

This company made an incredible impression on us. We had the extreme pleasure of talking with Dan. We heard back from our email within 30 minutes! Dan was all about explaining and listening to us. So many companies focus on making money, but Dan focused on heading us in the right direction. I would work with them on any project just based on this interaction with Dan!

Update:This company hires subcontractors and do not do the work themselves. I confronted the subcontractor. He NEVER apologized for his staff pulling in my yard and didn't see the big deal. (Like it was ok🤬)They left ruts, smashed my neighbor's decorative border, marks on pavement, and tar droppings. I told him that if he stepped in my yard again, I would call police. He was an absolute jerk to me. They came back a few weeks later to fix their poor construction on my neighbor's house, as it was falling apart from poor materials they used, and they got in my yard again. I told him to move out of my yard and got more attitude from the jerk. They finally moved, but I had to watch them all day.

My neighbor is having work done by them. Today, I came home to find them in my yard with a black tar machine. They NEVER ask permission to pull into my gravel yard to tar her roof. A mess. When I asked why they were in my yard making a mess, they claimed they did not speak English (although I heard them speaking English many times). I started taking pictures of them and their vehicles, and they began to pick up and move out of the yard, leaving ruts and drops of tar where they were. NO WAY would I do business with a company that treats my neighbors like this. HORRIBLE

Jonah & AJ worked well together. They cleaned up as best they could since it is still a work in progress. They were courteous and professional and did whatever I requested, because things needed to be moved out of the way, without any push back. Thank you

Carlos and Angel were professional, personable, and excellent craftsmen. They took the time to explain what they were doing, answered any questions that we had, kept us informed regarding what they were doing and what needed to be done. We would highly recommend them to friends. We have had excellent experience with all of the Kustom employees that have helped us through this process. Damian and Angel were great. They were right on time, worked hard, kept a clean work area and even mopped the floor when done. As the job is wrapping up, we wish the team had helped us understand what the consequences of several decision we made in the moment would be. (What it would look like when two different sizes of baseboard and door moulding met, in our case. We would have chosen baseboards to match our existing door moulding had we seen what the joints would look like.) Our Kustom crew worked together well, happily and VERY quickly. It might have been better if we'd all consulted more frequently as the work progressed.

Hired them to clean my deceased mothers house after she passed away in 2017 and these jokers show up remove some paneling and some bedding bagged it in a biohazard bag than put it in my trash cans charging me 175 for biohazard removal and dump runs and put some ozone machines in didn’t clean anything (had to request to have dead bugs cleaned up) didn’t tell me that the house wasn’t ready when they said it would be than 3 weeks later showed up to pick up the ozone machines had me sign a form confirming the equipments return said that was the final walk through and than billed me 5600 when they originally quoted me 1600! Find someone else! Oh than I moved a trunk and found more of my mothers fluids to scrub from the tiles on top of it all!

I cannot say enough great things about Kustom US. We had a water heater leak in our garage that caused damage in multiple rooms in our home. We immediately called a local plumber who recommended another restoration company, this soon became a big mistake. In the first 48 hours, we had a horrible experience with the other restoration company who only had one blower for all 3 rooms that were damaged. I called Kustom US requesting if they would take over our restoration, they came out immediately and began mitigating with multiple blowers and other equipment. Every member of the team that we came in contact, answered any questions we had and always came within the time frame they said they would be arriving. Stan was our Project Manager and he coordinated everything with our insurance company and with his team, which made it such a breeze! After mitigation was completed, the rebuild process was quick and easy in which Kustom US completed that as well.

Having damage at your home can be a stressful process and very unknown if you have never been through it before. Kustom US was super easy to work with and I never had to stress if things were being handled or completed. They did everything start to finish and when they said they would. We highly recommend using them for your restoration needs.

My home was destroyed in a fire. Kustom had to rebuild the entire condo. Ruben and Mario did a fantastic job. They were very responsive. It looks amazing. Thank you so much.

The crew from Kustom had the charge of completing a rebuild from a water restoration issue. The adjuster, Danielle, stopped by immediately to assess the situation. She was very prompt when submitting the paperwork, keeping in touch as questions or changes arose. Soon after, Mario D., and Ruben D., stopped by to order items for the job. They were extremely professional in nature by asking and answering questions to help us visualize the overall project. The two of them, including Damien, stopped by daily to check the progress of the work as it flowed in different stages. That was an essential function in their roles.
The most important impression came from Angel S., and Jose R.! The funds of knowledge these two have span decades of experience. Kustom should feel beyond fortunate to have them at hand! It is RARE to see the craftsmanship these two so comfortably express. I'd recommend a bonus for those two!! Never underestimate the skills certain people have in their skill set. It's those whom are HANDS-ON that create the reputation of an establishment. If my father were still alive, he would have hired Angel and Jose without hesitation! Treat them well...

Our roof was peeled back by one of our Arizona monsoon storms. Kustom responded immediately to tarp our roof and mitigate water damage inside our home. They then had a great team who came and performed "demo" and removed the drywall in all damaged areas. Steve coordinated everything and his people were outstanding.
We had the roof repaired and their reconstruction team came to install drywall, paint and put everything back together. Special thanks to Mario, Damien (extremely talented), Angel and Carlos.
All of the Kustom teams worked diligently to restore everything after the storm damage. From top to bottom, they were absolutely great to work with. You can see clearly that they care about their customers and about what they do; very detail oriented and want to take care of their clients.
While this would qualify as a disaster for some, and I don't think we want to do it again, we thoroughly enjoyed meeting their people and working with Kustom. Great company, great people and very good at what they do.

I had a toilet overflow. I called my insurance and they recommended Kustom. It was in the middle of the night so I didn’t think no one would show until the next day but an hour later Leo showed up and he explained to me the whole process and went right to work he was very fast and efficient.

After a water leak damaged our kitchen, KUSTOM handled the restoration. Having had repair and redesign work done earlier in our home, we have some perspective on quality work. KUSTOM is the best repair company we have worked with. Every member of their team is professional, highly skilled and personable. They have excellent estimators, project oversight and management, stucco artistry and painting with an eye for detail. Communication was excellent and very quick. Highly recommended.

As a vendor, I worked with Kustom US, and many other large restoration companies over the years. Working with Kustom US was a truly rewarding experience. Their commitment to excellence is evident, considering they have been providing restoration services since 1968! I've watched them build trust with their clients and deliver efficient solutions. I truly believe Kustom values the contributions of their vendors and work hard to create partnerships that are both productive and positive, making them a company I was very proud to work with. They have an expansive reach across the country and should be considered a leader in the restoration industry. I personally used their services for my 87-year-old dad when I was back in Michigan over the summer. We came home to a toilet that had been pouring water for 14 days! In spite of the fact there was a massive storm that led to epic flooding in the entire Detroit Metro area, we still got excellent service. Their techs were maxed out. I still can't believe it only took them 4 hours to get to us, and even in the midst of their OWN crisis, they were so kind, and empathetic. They worked with me, across the country and dealt with time zones and my crazy work schedule. As both a vendor and customer I have confidently recommended Kustom US to both friends and family. They are dedicated to restoring not just your property, but your peace of mind.

Lastly, please note that working with contractors can be challenging. If you do have issues with workers on site, PLEASE reach out to your Project Manager ASAP and allow them to make it right. Nobody is perfect, but this company is as close as they come, and they strive to earn customer satisfaction.

The Contents team are the best there is when it comes to handling your belongings with the same care you give them. The crew will make sure your personal belongings are well taken care of. The team exceeded my expectations for repairs to my bathroom due to water damage! From the initial estimate consult, handling insurance company, (in house secretary was so helpful everytime I called) down to the expedited process. The mitigation team & repair guys were very efficient & puntcual. The team was very detailed in prep and cleanup procedures. The always cleaned up after themselves. They created a walk space for my family to get to kitchen. Being down a bathroom in a household of 7 isn’t fun. But they did the best they could to accommodate our situation. I got updated throughout the process with any information or changes. My bathroom looks better than ever. You will not regret using Kustom!
