Had a roof done in 2022. Now that I am selling the house, the buyer had an inspector come out and he found a couple things wrong with the roof which would cost about $300. I was still under warranty so I called. The guy on the phone looked up the address and said yes, I was still under warranty. I asked if he could deal with my real estate agent since I was not in Tucson anymore and it didn't seem to be a problem. However, now that I about to close on the house, my agent called them back to get status and the 1by1 guy swore at him and hung up. So, I called them myself and they guy said that they need the warranty papers and receipt since they do not have me in their system now due to a system changeover. That seems shady. When I told him that he said I was in there last time I called a couple weeks ago he said that he was just looking at the stuff my agent sent but my agent didn't even know about them the first time I called. So, I feel I have been lied to and my agent treated like garbage. I guess I will file a ROC report on them since they seem to want to get out of doing any warranty repair work. They did a nice job on the roof, I will give them that. Just don't expect anything down the road if problems arise during warranty.

They did an excellent job of repairing the leak area and replacing the whole roof. Quality work and attention to detail. When I stood on the roof and look at the shingle lines, they were spot on. I don't think I would have noticed if I didn't see the neighbors shingles and how crooked they actually were. Great job. They also replaced some of the edge boards, removed the turbines, repaired the holes, and put in a ridge vent cap so the attic could breathe better. My only ding was the communication could be better but that was not enough to knock off a star. Overall, I am very pleased with the work.

Great experience working with 1 By 1 Roof & Solar. I chose them to handle a repair that included solar removal and re-installation - as I didn't want the hassle and complexity of managing two separate contractors. Not only was my project completed on-time and on-budget, but the solar company even re-installed the bird fencing around the solar panels to prevent nesting. That was a nice touch. This company exceeded all expectations! From the initial sales consultation with Daniel to once we got our system turned on within a couple months. He was very thorough with answering our questions. Truly a master of his craft. The 5 star experience carried over to their office staff for scheduling and milestone updates. Lastly the installation crew was prompt, polite, took pride in their work, and left the area clean of all debris. We will recommend to anyone looking to buy a new roof or solar to call 1By1 Roof & Solar.

We had contracted with Gus for solar panels with install, new windows, new ac unit and a water softening system. We had the solar breaker melt in the main panel for the house and we were lucky the house didn't burn down. Gus refuses to make any repair to the panel. He said he would refund the money we spent for a new breaker but never paid us. Other than the electrical issue with the panel, Gus subcontracted all four phases of our job and didn't inform us of this or give us any info on the subcontractors/warranties, we only found out later that he uses unlicensed subcontractors. We had a lot of issues with the windows and doors and Gus never lifted a finger to help us get a hold of the guys that installed. Over all our experience working with the owner of this company has been horrible and we can't express nearly enough warning for anyone considering working with Gus regardless of how many times he changes his business' name.

Update: we were in contact with you this whole time, we told you repeatedly we needed the windows and doors looked at and all you did was send us to window depot. We repeatedly asked for warranty paperwork and never got any. We have all the texts printed out of you promising to send us what we asked for and never doing it, we have the text where you said you would send us the reimbursement but never saw anything and you never asked us for an invoice. We have the text where you admitted your mistake but that doesn't seem to matter anymore. You and your associates have done nothing but provide horrible customer service since the job has been completed. And you're right 6000 is too much, I have someone doing what you should have worked with me on for 3000. You never offered any solution other than silence.

Roof was done quickly and without hassle. Looks great and the cost was perfect.

Very bad company! Sales man came out and inspected my roof and said that he was more than sure my insurance will cover my roof because my whole roof needed replacement. He said that he will come out when the insurance guy comes out to talk with them to help move the process. Also, I needed my house painted and told me I could get it financed through them. When I went through the approval process, I was denied. He gave me an awkward look and said to call his company. When I called them, they told me that the salesperson has to take care of it. The sales man never came out when my insurance person came out to inspect the roof. The insurance specialist told me that I only needed a few shingles replaced, when the salesman stated that I needed a whole new roof. I never heard from tthe company again. I recommended them to my mom and she went through the exact same thing. The sales person went through the whole process exactly that I went through making us believe that everything would be taken care of and could guarantee that our insurance would cover it. I assume they do shady business telling lies just to make money. They were trying to make 25,000 dollars when there was really no need. Plus he said he will work with us with the deductible from our insurance. I will never recommend them. They conduct business very badly!

The whole solar install process took about 2-3 months to complete! Great communication. Highly recommend.

I had woodpecker damage on my eves and they replaced them and repainted the eves all the way around the house. It looks great. Then after the bad hail storm we had in June I called them to insect my roof to see if there was any damage. The roof inspection was free. It was a relief to find out I had no damage. It is great to deal with an honest and reasonable company that really does care about the quality of work that they do. I would recommend them to anyone that might have a roof problem.

I had a leak in my roof, Danny came out to take a look and gave me an estimate and guided me threw what needed to be done, great expertise and very knowledgeable made me feel comfortable with the process and what needed to be done! They installation crew was great and very friendly, the installation took two days. Overall very happy with everything 1by1 roofing has been very professional and they have followed threw with everything they said they would do! They made the procces easy and painless, i would definitely recommend them to anyone who need work done.

We contracted with 1 By 1 Roof to resurface our foam roof. We were told that they could begin within 2-3 days from signing the contract. We signed it on a Friday. When we had not heard from them by Monday, we called and were told it would be a couple more days. Additionally, Frank said he would text over the phone number of the guy who would be scheduling our job. He never sent it, but he didn't hesitate to charge my credit card for half the contract amount. A week later, they still had not called or started the job. We called and canceled the job. Even though they had not ordered materials for my job or scheduled it, they charged me $600 to cancel the job. I do not recommend you deal with them, but if you do, be sure to make them include the schedule in your contract. I really don't even think they do roofing. I think they just put off scheduling jobs until the customer gives up and cancels, and then they charge $600 for nothing.

The guys at one by one roofing were awesome so professional. They took the old roof off removed repaired and replaced both .and cleaned up everything pristine.The finished product was incredible they worked so hard on making the roofs look awesome. Really happy with this team! We got cheaper bids, but also much higher. These guys were professional, used quality materials.

It was a big project, so some minor hiccups along the way. There were a couple of issues with poor communication getting started. The HVAC and solar reinstalls were shoddy, but quickly corrected when pointed out.

There was a rotted section over our porch that was worse than expected. Fixed within the original bid price. They didn't quit the job until we were satisfied.

Overall, happy we chose them. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

I had a very good experience with these guys. They arrived right on schedule got an estimate to me right away and worked with me to get the best result. They came out a second time to fix a leaking area, but I've had no problems since.

Rafael and his crew did an excellent job reroofing our 65 year old home. Replaced all the damaged sheeting and fascia prior to installing the new roofing material. Did an excellent job cleaning up after the work was complete. Would recommend and will use again if the need arises.

I had storm damage to my roof. Called these guys they came out allot quicker than I anticipated. Determined the issue and got it resolved quickly for much less than I expected.

Update April 21, 2023 - I needed my house painted called these guys got an immediate response and a very competitive quote. Had a few hang ups with the HOA finally got it resolved. Victor and crew got the project done in less than 2 days. Excellent work and attention to detail. My house looks brand new. Pictures speak for themselves. Very pleased with the results.

1BY1 Roofing was excellent. From the time I discovered the leak in my ceiling to when they came out and inspected, the response was very quick. They handled replacing my original roof and even took care of the solar panel removal and reinstallation, so I didn’t have to hire another contractor or deal with extra scheduling. I 100% recommend them to anyone needing roof or solar work done.
