My compliments to Jack, TJ and Aaron of Intelligent Design for their professionalism and diligence in seeing that I got the best solutions for my issues regarding HVAC and plumbing. Jack did a great job in diagnosing my problem and cording the ID response. TJ put together a solution for my HVAC and plumbing issues and worked hard to earn the business for ID versus a competitor. Aaron came to address one issue and went the extra mile to begin resolving a completely separate issue. These three are excellent representatives of Intelligent Design and conduct themselves professionally, with empathy and understanding. Kudos to the ID team!

Britney and Tj were amazing! They look at everything.and gave us a amazing deal. They also did amazing work!

Erik did a great job repairing some issues I had and installing some safety features on the house. He's super friendly and professional. I highly recommend him and Intelligent Designs for electrical work.

Steadman, True and Kyle did preventative maintenance on our HVAC unit. They meticulously cleaned it of all the debris that got past our paper filter and into the system. They installed a special filter that will prevent it from happening again, and will also filter toxins from the air. The three men worked collaboratively for a number of hours until the job was complete. They were very polite and kind.

Great experience with Noah from Intelligent Design. I contacted him for a roof repair quote and couldn’t be happier with the service. He was kind, patient, and very professional and took the time to explain our options in a way that actually made sense. He worked with us to find an affordable solution instead of trying to upsell. Refreshing and trustworthy and would highly recommend!

Adrian arrived within the scheduled time window, immediately setting a positive tone for the appointment. He clearly explained what he was going to do, why it mattered, and then proceeded to do exactly that—efficiently and correctly.

He was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly without wasting time or overcomplicating the process. No pressure, no upselling, no confusion—just straightforward communication and quality work done right the first time.

If Intelligent Design values consistency, professionalism, and strong customer experience, Adrian is a great example of that standard in action. This was a smooth, stress-free experience from start to finish.

Fabian performed a very thorough and systematic whole house inspection to diagnose an intermittent low water pressure condition at my residence. Although he didn't find a smoking gun, Fabian was able to eliminate potential causes within the home itself and suggested external factors outside my control that could be causing the problem. Fabian recommended several steps I can take myself to help root cause the issue. Fabian spent approximately an hour and a half diagnosing the issue with no $ charge. Fabian was very professional and worked in a very neat and methodical manner. I will definitely ask for Fabian if I have plumbing issues in the future.

It seems that I can't do multiple reviews on a single business even though they provide multiple different services (pluming, HVAC, roofing, etc.) so I'm updating my current review.

On Wednesday the 12th of November, 2025, we had a general service check on our plumbing by Anthony Brown a plumber at Intelligent Design (ID). He was on time and gave us some good information on our water heater, it's was time to replace it before we have an issue due to its age. We met with his manager at ID via a MS Teams chat so we could all discuss a simple tank replacement or changing to a tankless water heater. We went over the pros and cons, what options we would need or not need and the cost difference over time. It was a good conversation since we gained information that we didn't have regarding tankless water heaters vs tank water heaters. We went with a tankless version, it cost more up front but over time will save us money and the hassle of replacing tanks every so many years, as a bonus its more efficient on natural gas than the tank. ID was able to schedule Anthony Brown the next day to do the replacement. Anthony was on time, pleasant to work with, explained every thing we was doing, had prepared his truck with all of the items he needed and did exceptional work. He also repiped our natural gas line to feed the new tankless water heater, to upgrade the pipe to 3/4 inch from the 1/2 inch that fed the previous tank water heater. We liked working with Anthony Brown and would recommend him and Intelligent Design for your projects. I've attached two photos of the tankless water heater on my wall and one of the pipe change area.

Jason Shreves and his crew Ryan and Fabian did an excellent job on our sewer pipe replacement from the house to the street. Jason let us know what time he was going to arrive and when he left each day. He kept us up to date on the progress and even stayed very late on the last night to get it done on time. Jason had done our normal house check prior to the work and showed us the roots in the old clay sewer pipe. He's very easy to talk to, experienced, mature, and knowledgeable so we went with Jason at Intelligent Design to do the work. The clay dirt and the calichi were quite a challenge to dig through, they brought in equipment to dig as well as did a lot of hand digging. They all had a great work ethic and dug carefully to not damage any other pipes in the area, water and my rainwater harvesting pipe. I would recommend Jason Shreves to work on your plumbing project. Due to his work ethic and knowledge you won't be disappointed. See photos.

Tyler Manley did an outstanding job installing the Brita Pro water softener and Brita Pro water purifier systems at our home. All the work was planned and executed in a professional and efficient manner. The workmanship is excellent and the work area was fully cleaned afterwards. The resulting soft and purified water is great with clean clothes, hair and bodies and no more icky tasting water.
My wife and I are very happy with the work and improved water.

Do NOT invest your money for a brand new A/C unit that shuts down on you in the middle of the night. They aren’t available but they have an idiotic answering service. They have been to my house 9 times and they still don’t have it right. A supervisor was supposed to call me today but NO phone call. They claim to be the best but they are the worst. I don’t care about how long you’ve been in business when contacting you. A HUGE mistake to go with this company. I will use every platform possible to tell people to NOT use them! I will also be in contact with my neighbors.
**EDIT**They showed up for the 10th time on Monday after the service manager and owner called my husband. This issue that happened was on a Wednesday. My husband wasn’t even home. My husband gets the apologies but the wife, NOTHING. This is a lot like “sexism” to me. I never got an apology from anyone about what kind of stress this company has caused me and my husband. Obviously the unit is defective! But they left without my complete satisfaction and the same excuses every time. They ALWAYS need parts. UNACCEPTABLE! I’ve included what their service trucks look like. STAY far away from this business if you see them in your neighborhood!
**EDIT #2** Two men show up late to the 11th visit to the SAME unit. One man(didn’t get his name) was very respectful towards me and was understanding to me being upset. The other man, Justin, was a complete jerk to me. He threatened a 12th visit and then went and cried to his boss. That was a mistake to send Justin. At the very least, look professional, Justin was not. This is a very SEXIST company. They have no idea how to treat a woman. These men were told that I wanted to talk to the owner, Andrew. I NEVER heard from Andrew. He is clueless. I don’t expect to hear from him either.
**EDIT #3**Surprise, surprise; Andrew, the owner of this “company”, finally called me. He was very defensive and not really that apologetic about his “company” visiting my house ELEVEN times on the SAME unit. He obviously doesn’t want to deal with a strong woman. I’m done with this sexist “company.” I’m upset that my husband chose this “company” and I refuse to be treated like that. I ended up hanging up on him which isn’t like me. You’ve caused me too much stress that I’m done. Andrew can see what bad reviews result in. I hope to never see your trucks in my driveway or in my neighborhood again.

Adam did an amazing job at our check-up/maintenance appointment. He was beyond knowledgeable and informed me of what is to come based on the life of all of our units (heat/ac). I will recommend this company, especially Adam to anyone I know that is in need of any maintenance or service!

Overall process was great! Was happy with the work that got done. Erik is super knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. After all was said and done Erik ensure everything was working as it should, and took the time to show me the updates and what to expect, which was greatly appreciated. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience working with Intelligent Design! Erik and Adrian are skilled and knowledgeable. They worked together with a fun and confident demeanor. Erik listened during the consultation and understood the electrical work we were needing to have done in our space. When he and Adrian returned to complete the work order they did so without any issues. Truly was a positive experience working with them both. Bonus stars for their attention to detail and cleaning up before leaving!
