Both of our original Trane XL19 units were installed by Perry 18 years ago and have run fine until recently. The units have a small and large compressor assembly and the large compressor had a weak capacitor so it wouldn't start. The tech came out, spent 15 minutes diagnosing it and installed a $16 cap and left with a $500 bill. In contrast last month my orthopedic surgeon with her team only charged $350/hour to replace my knee.
You tell me, is $500 a fair price?

My experience with my heating unit was wonderful. Micah was great he knows his job very well. Great to talk too and answered all my questions. Your company is lucky to have him. It's hard to find great Customer service today. Micah has A++ customer service.

But very unhappy my call was never returned about my new water heater filter. Perry and heating I called two times April and May 2025 and was told we have not hired a plumber yet but when we do you at the top of the list to call. never heard back so I had to call someone else to help me. Perry Heating & Cooling and Plumbing serviced our unit on the day and the time that was arranged beforehand. The serviceman was professional and explained what he was going to do.

The blower motor on my heat pump decided to unsubscribe from life on the morning of a day predicted to hit 106 degrees. It made it to 108! When I called for service, I was told they could not make it out until the next morning, but would try to fit me in. Twenty minutes later, I received a call telling me I was NEXT on the service tech's list! Within the hour the tech verified the problem and ordered the required parts. He was back and the unit repaired within two hours! That is something I really appreciate about Perry. They do everything they can to get your unit up and running as soon as possible.

Today I called Perry Heating, Cooling, ... for the first time because a friend of mine worked there a few years ago. She liked working there. So, I thought I'd call them about my AC problem. They scheduled a tech to come out. Jordan came to my home and found the problem and fixed it right away. But found other issues along the way. We have a very old AC unit. He recommended several fixes that will get us thru the summer and even a replacement option. He gave me the options and costs. He did not pressure me once. He polite and respectful. He was happy to send me a quote and let me and my spouse talk it over and decide how to proceed. Will I do business with Perry Heating, Cooling & Plumbing, yes, you bet i will.

Perry reminded me that we were entitled to a free service call. Got appointment set up quickly & easily— only needed a 2 hour window (very reasonable). Todd showed up on time and got to work right away. Did thorough inspection and presented results. Had what was needed for repairs in the truck so we didn’t have to set up another appointment. Answered all my questions. Didn’t try to sell me things that I could get cheaper on my own (filter). We’ll continue with Perry.

Martin was an outstanding technician. Job was straightforward and reasonably priced. Will use them again.
