On June 08, 2025, Sunday after I was suffering without Air Conditioning for the two weeks in extreme summer heat that can be relentless, with temperatures soaring to dangerous levels. The heat was unbearable for my husband with chronic illnesses and I was miserable mostly at nighttime when I was trying to sleep. I called three different repair Companies and two home appointments with estimates that had same responses. The prices to replace the entire unit was very alarming from lowest $12K and highest $15K. I’m retired and living on fixed income The third Company I called was HVAC Heating and Cooling Service & Repair, Jerry answered the phone and came to my home on a Sunday to troubleshoot the problem with AC unit. He fixed the leak and made other repairs at a considerable discount. Jerry, the Owner, is a “ “Good Samaritan” who demonstrates how kindness and generosity can make a real difference in your life,
especially for those in need of critical assistance like air conditioning repairs. It is very heart warming to see that there are still some people like Jerry stepping up to help others whether through discounted services and donations.

I highly recommend Jerry! This was my first time using HVAC Heating & Cooling and Jerry came out the same day, and returned the following day to complete the repair. He was pleasant, professional, and the total cost was less than his initial estimate. Great service!

My 26 year old heat/AC pack would not start reliably so called HVAC H&C after reading the stellar reviews. Jerry came out in an hour, gave a very good estimate and had a new unit working in a couple of days after a difficult installation. His honesty is rare in the HVAC business which is known for being somewhat sleazy. I second all the great comments of other reviewers.

This could turn out to be a long review in regard to how I found this company, but I'll keep it short. The owner arrived at my business very quickly, late in the day, and saved me a boatload of cash. He was really sincere I felt like. There is no doubt I will call him again, hopefully not too soon. But I'm sure glad I did. Highly recommend!

My service technician arrived on time, was professional, and quickly diagnosed the problem. I always have good service with Mechanical Forced Air, LLC.

Update: 5/10/23 Had my a/c serviced by another company. Was told that they did not install a key component that is required by code.
4/2021 had this company install a new a/c unit. Install crew put the frame for the attic access back on with bolts. They left it full of nasty black handprints and the caulking looks like a kindergartener put it on. Was all over the floor. 3 days later, i woke up to water coming through my ceiling. Technician came out and told me the drains were clogged. I asked why that wasnt checked or addressed when they installed the unit and he said that their install crew doesnt check the drain lines. They would not pay to repair the damaged drywall on my ceiling. The "office staff" emailed my warranty as a screenshot from a phone in a poorly lit room. It's unreadable. I asked for her to email a pdf of it more than once. Never got it.
You get what you pay for.

Did an excellent job installing a whole new system and removing both the wall furnace and old swamp cooler. Very responsive and professional and was the lowest estimate I found. Definitely recommended them!

I have been using this company to service my home and rental equipment for many years and have always had prompt, reliable, and expert service. I will never use another company. I honestly can recommend them with no reservations and urge anyone looking for a reputable firm to use this one.

I'm only leaving this review because obviously this company doesn't care about customer service, so why would they care about a poor review... We called them to schedule a service thru our warranty company. After being laughed at because we didn't have all the information, we were told to call the warranty company again to get a another company because they're to busy to deal with it. They didn't even care that they were throwing away a customer because they didn't want to deal with us. They should really consider who they have as an employees because at the rate the employees are what will kill this company!

Tyler was Great! Extremely friendly and did a great job! Got the fan replaced on my AC unit and back to blowing cold air again. Couldn't be happier with the service.

I was lucky enough to have them come in as a second opinion on my a/c issues and they explained what was going on. They contradicted everything the other company was trying to tell/scare/sell me. I felt at ease and comfortable with this company. Friendly, didn't gouge the price of r-22 like the other company, and i felt like the service rep listened to my concerns and offered me honest feedback on my options.

Contacted them last Monday for an AC repair. They came out on Weds and replaced a part. It seemed like it was working but it was broken again on Friday morning. We called them Friday, but no one answered and we left a message. No return call for the weekend. Work order went in Friday from the warranty company. Monday they claimed not to have received it and said they couldn't come out until Tuesday. Then when I got another company to come out on Monday, they had the gall to ask me if I wanted a bid from them when I called to cancel the service call. Horrible experience and poor responsiveness. We've been having AC issues for over a week in 109 degree weather and an excessive heat warning for all of Pima County. Never doing business with this company, EVER...

I called to schedule a service for my air conditioner on Tuesday. The earliest they could have someone out was Friday between 12-5pm and I was told I would receive a call 30 minutes before they were to arrive at my home. 3pm came around and I received no phone call from this company. I called and no one answered, left a message and no one called back. I am now going on day 5 with no AC. I will never call this company back nor will I recommend their service to anyone. They clearly do not care about home warranty customers, or apparently any customer for that matter. If I could give this company “0 stars” I would.

Had an AC emergency (Don't we all in this heat!) This company was busy so we called someone else to come out right away, they wanted to charge us $2k! Carl from MFA called us back within hours and said he could fix it the next day. He was here when he said he would be here. I was treated with respect. He did what he needed to do and got it done in the time he said it would take. And the kicker, my $2k job (again, estimated by another company) ended up costing less than $400.

This is the kind of trade people I like doing business with. Kind and decent folk...the ones my grandad called "good people"

How we treat one another...matters.

Went in to have a VERY small job done. Most shops would send me on my way and not bother, but not these guys ! They were happy to do my little job and did it quickly. I was in business for 40 years and really appreciate good service.
I highly recommend them.

I can't get a response from them regarding a previous estimate they gave me. It's very frustrating. The guy who came out and did the inspection seemed competent, but I've called them twice since then asking for a written estimate and specs on a mini split, and each time I'm told that the owner will call me back. It's been over a month now. What is going on?!

I called so many HVAC places who quoted me ridiculously high prices for repair and replacement of my furnace. I just thought that's how much it cost. And then Mechanical Forced Air came out and their quotes were for less than 1/4 of the cost and they advised me to choose the cheapest option (repair) instead of replacement...zero upselling. They came out, repaired the furnace (within a week), put in extra duct work I asked for, cleaned up everything...everyone was super nice, knowledgable and respectful. I can't recommend this company enough.

Our blower motor went out and Mechanical Forced Air fixed it. Tyler was awesome and answered all of my questions and phone calls. He was very professional and I could tell he knew what he was talking about. Marcee was also incredibly helpful and arranged everything. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
