I inherited the number for 88Drain in 1994 when we opened our bed and breakfast in an historic 1940 home. As a business, it was essential that calls for help be responded to quickly and competently. Hugh and his crew have been all I could ever wish in a service industry provider. He and they are personable, understanding, concise in their explanations and estimates, and truly reliable in service. Now retired and in another home, we are happy to still call them for help. Their rates remain reasonable, and their advice for avoiding further problems always on target and welcome. Zach today was his always professional, courteous, expert self. I highly recommend 88Drain for plumbing services.

Zach and Mike worked very efficiently to repair 2 of our toilets. They are friendly and a pleasure to work with while being professional and knowledgeable. We had Mike and Brandon replace our kitchen faucet and did so expeditiously. Highly recommend 88 Drain for all plumbing issues. Their prices are very reasonable.

We have used 88DRAIN twice now in two months. The first time we had a clog in the line to our washing machine and they came three times until they remedied the problem. It was a stubborn issue and they only charged once. Today we had them come again because we had a little hole in a pipe outside. I called yesterday and they got us in right away. They fixed it in no time at all. Both times they were very professional and reasonably priced.

Kindness! They took the time to really solve the issue and help my parents. Great people, great plumbers. My dad has become to old to carry bottled water. We purchased a reverse osmosis system and they installed it for us and were so thorough. They reached out to me (daughter) with updates and questions because I could not be there for the install. My dad said "he was so nice, helpful and kind." I appreciate their thoughtfulness. Will use again! Ty!

Today, Brandon and Corey from 88 Drain installed 2 toilets in our house. They did a great job. Both were friendly, professional, thorough and immaculate. Not only did they do a great job but they hauled away our old toilets and the packing material from the new ones. I have used this company for over 30'years. I needed my toilet reset because the wax ring had a leak. Dylan came to fix it and did the best job. He was neat and clean, and he fixed a few other things that needed replacing. I will be calling him, in particular, to change out my faucets through the house. He didn't try to sell me anything that I didn't need and was straight forward about the job he was doing. These folks are great! My garbage disposal had had its last days, just in time for the new year. Serena answered the phone with a friendly voice, setting up a next-day appointment. Dylan and his associate Wyatt came to the rescue. I heard the triumphant grinding of my new garbage disposal and knew that it was a done deal! Quick, professional, pleasant technicians! I've already made plans for the installation of new kitchen faucets. Nothing like giving an aging kitchen a facelift, right? 88DRAIN has earned these five stars – I'd give them a couple more if I was able. Am I ever delighted with their service! I highly recommend 88Drain for plumbing problems. I called this company based on the recommendation of my long time plumber who doesn't do the root clean out. After explaining my problem, I was given an estimate. My service window was 10:30-2:30. Brandon and Wyatt arrived at 11:00 and left at 11:35. They had to remove the toilet, clean out the roots, reset the toilet with some new parts, answered lots of questions from 4 old ladies playing bridge, and left everything nice and clean. Brandon and Wyatt were very polite and explained everything they did. You won't go wrong with 88DRAIN SERVICE.

Had Brandon and Wyatt come clear out a main line clog with backup into the house and they were amazing! Super understanding and kind, and did it quickly and efficiently!! House was a mess due to flooding, and they were nothing but gracious about the situation and backup! For such a low price given my home has a roof vent main, at only $165 compared to the hundreds other companies were asking, the service was incredible! Cannot recommend enough to anyone having plumbing issues, and am 100% referring any family members to call!

The scheduling person was polite, friendly and well spoken. Two friendly gentlemen, Cody and Brandon arrived on time and did an amazing job cleaning out my sink and shower drains. They also recommended a serviceable cap over my sink clean out so that the system would be more accessible next time. I’m an engineer and I usually do most of my own auto and house maintenance but let these guys do this type of work because they have experience with it day in and day out. I couldn’t be happier with the whole experience.

Very pleased with the sewer clean-out the professional at 88Drain did at my home recently. It was not a small job, but the price for their services was incredibly fair. You never want to feel that you paid more than what your received. Not true with 88Drain. Fair price, great service. Shout out to the professionals they sent to my home: Brandon and Cory. Nice guys. Great work. I waited to submit this review for a few days to make certain I didn't have any follow-up problems. None. I'll be calling them again in the future when needed.

My bathroom sink finally wouldn't let any water thru, it was clogged and so I called 88Drain, referred by a friend. We set up an appointment for the next day. I got a call as I was told I would about 20 min before the 'unclogger' would arrive. Josh arrived and after a quick explanation of what was wrong, he got to work. He pulled the existing trap out and lots of yucky black goo came tumbling out. He took his snake, put it down the drain pipe and after about 20 ft of snaking, he pulled out a big hair clog (not mine, it was from the previous owner) and proceeded to say, 'that's it, your pipes are clean'. He packed up, gave me the total, I wrote a check and he was off. All that in about25 minutes, a real professional who know exactly what to do. We chatted all the time he was working and I couldn't be happier.
Is fantastic to see all the water disappearing down the drain and not have to wait while it empties.

Terrible Experience – Avoid Taz Plumbing at All Costs

I had a horrible experience with Taz Plumbing through my home warranty company regarding a water heater issue. The technician who came out initially checked the thermostat and heating element and claimed both were getting power and functioning properly.

Then — without draining the water heater — he decided to remove the heating element anyway. As anyone with basic plumbing knowledge knows, that’s a huge mistake. As soon as he did, water gushed out uncontrollably, flooding the electrical compartment of the unit and the floor of my garage. Completely avoidable with proper procedure.

To make matters worse, the technician didn’t even submit a report to the home warranty company until five hours later. When he finally did, the diagnosis simply said the water heater needed to be replaced — and his justification? Because water came out when he removed the element. No kidding — that’s what happens when you don’t drain it first!

This was not only unprofessional but also reckless. Save yourself the stress, the mess, and the delay — choose a different plumbing company. Taz Plumbing’s lack of competence and urgency cost me time, risked electrical damage, and left me with a worse problem than I started with.
