Buying a home is stressful, and when the old septic system failed, the stress level went up. Gross Septic was contracted for the system replacement and we couldn’t be more pleased with their professionalism and prompt completion of a big job (two days)! Met Brian on site and he was informative and a pleasure to deal with. Absolutely recommend this company.

Brian from Gross septic was very timely, cordial, and explained what he was doing during his work. However, he required us to pay $300 to replace the cover on our septic tank during a certification stating that it is common procedure by all septic companies on older tanks to make it more accessible with a "manhole" cover. In speaking with at least 3 other companies after the fact, not one of them indicated they would have required this type of change, and this just felt like a way to squeeze more $$$ out of the job. We simply needed our septic certified, not a lot of bells and whistles added to an older tank that were not required.

I first found this company back in 2015 when I needed to have some emergency work done on my rental property's septic system. Gross Septic did a great job of getting everything up and flowing correctly again! I found Brian Gross to be knowledgeable and professional, and he completed the work in a timely manner. He explained how septic systems work in terms I could understand and did not try to upsell me, so his company became my "go-to". Their prices for clean out maintenance and inspections have stayed reasonable, which is refreshing to see. These guys really know their stuff! Highly recommend.

Had a large company out a few years ago and it was a nightmare talking to the person on the phone and the worker who was at my home. This time I made several phone calls and pricing is very competitive, but talking to Zach made all the difference. Polite and curtious and through very busy was able to fit us in the next day. The professionalism continued at my home. You can shop around, but I'm telling you is there is no need to call anyone else. Thanks Zach and Brian.

Brian came today and pumped our septic tank. He also inspected and repaired a small issue with our guest house septic tank. Brian and his whole team were very nice, professional, and informative. I learned everything I needed to know about septic systems and how to maintain ours! I would definitely recommend Gross Septic to anyone and will use them in the future

Great work at a very good price!
I called Brian on a Sunday and he answered immediately. We discussed the problem with my septic system and he came out to the house soon after. He and Zach spent a couple of hours trying to ascertain the location of the distribution box. After a lot of investigation they found the box and inspected the septic field. After some discussion it was decided to replace the leech field. They gave me an estimate that they stuck to and completed the work in just a few hours. Its been almost a year and the new leech filed is working without any issues. Thanks for a job well done.

After 30 years my septic needed pumped out. Brian and his son scheduled, verified prior and arrived on the date and time of appointment, pumped out the septic and informed me of leach field repairs needed due to root damage and gave me an estimate. They are both very friendly, professional and my dog liked them which is to say a lot since she normally doesn't like strangers. I highly recommend Gross Septic and the price is half of what their competitors charge. Great job Brian.

Brian & Zach came out to pump our septic. They were very responsive to my first text. They were professional, clearly knowledgeable and willing to answer all our questions. They were also flexible and willing to come as soon as possible, since our plumbing was having some major issues and we needed someone right away. They discovered an additional issue with our septic and resolved it for us. They were straight forward with their pricing and what they were going to do. I would definitely recommend them and will use them again in the future. We love using family businesses and you will not be disappointed if you give this one a try.

We can’t say enough positive things about Gross septic! We were in the middle of selling our home when we found out our septic system couldn’t be certified in order to sell it as required by Pima County. Gross septic quoted us a price to bring our septic system back to life. The new buyer of our home asked us to get several bids and after doing so, we went with Gross septic. Brian and Zach did a phenomenal job! They finished earlier than promised and charged us exactly what their original bid stated. They were quick and efficient and high quality! I had a great experience with Gross Septic. When I made the appointment originally they quoted me a price that I thought was very competitive to pump my system and inspect it as I am in the process of selling my property. They called the Friday before my appointment to confirm and were prompt to my 7am appointment on Monday morning. They were very professional and prepared. My septic hasn't been serviced in years so I wasn't surprised when they found that the cap to my septic had some corrosion on it causing it to start to crack. When they noticed they immediately brought it to my attention and told me that they could replace it for me, but wanted my go ahead before they pulled the damage cap up. I really appreciated that, and how they explained why that happened. We did continue with servicing the septic and they fitted a new cap for my system on the spot. They made the whole experience fast and easy for me as I tried to entertain my toddler at the same time. I choose Gross septic after calling around and getting different rates and then comparing reviews. They took care of all the paperwork for me for escrow and made it easy by emailing the escrow agents for me If I weren't moving out of town I would definitely use Gross Septic again, and I highly recommend them. I felt like I got professional quality at a very competitive rate. Thank you very much!

Brian and Zach are honest, hard workers! Definitely look no further if you need help with your septic or leach field. They were very careful and did an excellent job of installing our tank and leach field. I wish all contractors could be like them!

I've used Brian's service now since 2019. He and Zach are extremely professional and courteous. They answered all my questions from cleaning the filter to cat 💩, to clearing out the leach field of creosote bushes. I have them clean out my tank every other year. It is so worth it!

Brian and Zach were pleasant and efficient. The fee was very reasonable. They were quick in finding and accesssing the tank. Both were informative as we asked questions throughout the process of their cleaning the tank. They were careful not to damage surrounding plants.

Both gents were professional, friendly and knowledgeable. My septic tank inspection cap had been broken off accidentally, Brian was kind enough to put a new one on for me at no extra charge. The two men who came to pump out our septic tank, Zach & Brian were truly experienced, knowledgable representatives of GROSS SEPTIC PUMPING, LLC.
With a 3-hour window promised for this service of 9AM-Noon, we received a call in advance of their scheduled arrival time that they could be to us sooner, if we were OK with it.
Coming to our property at 08:30AM worked well for us. We had the tank cap dug out & ready for them, so they began right away.
They had obviously done their homework,
advising us that the last recorded service on record with PIMA County had been 1994, when we first purchased the property.
They advised us of roots in the septic tank, a common occurrence with systems as old as ours (initially installed in 1970) & that if we were to sell the property, there would be intake baffle work necessary to pass any inspection in order for the sale to be approved.
Additionally, they mentioned, and noted on the invoice future construction recommendations to help ease the process.
They stayed on the difficult task of removing as much solid & liquid waste as they possibly could, charging us the amount that had been quoted by the person setting up the appointment months earlier.
In a little over an hour they completed the task & we’re on their way.
They were able to bill directly with our credit card, via an app on their cell phone & the recipient popped up, immediately, via the
e-email I provided them.
Quick & convenient, but DO book in advance, as this company, being as professional & responsible as they are, is booked up to 2 months out. FYI

After 35 years, my leach field died. These guys were amazing. Two main trenches traversing through trees and shrubs...and it looks like they were never here. Fantastic - finished on time as promised! Top professionals!

Had a drain problem and the septic tank was due for pumping. While pumping out the septic tank, they diagnosed the drain problem. They came back 2 days later and replaced a bad section of drain pipe. They are fast, professional, and friendly. The cost was less than I expected. Highly recommended.
