We have used Bakersfield Plumbing for all of our plumbing needs - from replacement of all of our pipes a few years ago to water heater and toilet problems today. Our technician today was Charles and he explained all things to my husband and was very professional!! The jobs were done fast and we are very happy with their work. We will definitely call them in the future if needed.

Jeremiah fixed my toilet and fixed what could be a potential problem in the future... He was knowledgeable and professional and said I had a 30 day warranty and the price was reasonable. They really take care of Seniors.

A-1 Plumbing in Bakersfield provided one of the most unprofessional and outright disappointing service experiences imaginable. From the owner down to the employees, their behavior was completely unacceptable. Not only did they fail to complete the plumbing repair correctly, but they also caused significant damage to my cabinetry and failed to properly repair the wall. Instead of addressing the issue professionally, they laughed, made a complete mess, and disrespected my home.

To make matters worse, their attitude was nothing short of appalling. They openly made rude comments about my dog, even going as far as to say they would throw them out. The lack of professionalism and basic respect was beyond frustrating.

This so-called “mom-and-pop” plumbing company operates in an outdated, careless, and unaccountable manner, showing no regard for their customers or their property. Their dismissive and rude behavior, combined with subpar workmanship, makes it clear that they should not be trusted with any plumbing job. A previous repair had been done connecting galvanized pipe directly to copper. This rotted out the galvanized pipe. I thought for sure the wall would need to be breeched, but Charles was able to make the repair with no damage to the wall.

Your technician had a very limited time to check on the leak. His time began at 9.44 when he started driving to come to my place. It took about him approximately half an hour to reach my home. Upon arrival, he manually started to check for leaks. I later suggested if had any device to check on leaks. He then brought his stuff out. He asked me if I knew how I would get charged for this service. He rushed through the job and found my sprinkler valve was leaking.

I showed the technician in the cable box where there is fresh clear water. He suggested that water could be from drainage.

The technician wasn’t very helpful. He seemed he was in a big rush and always reminding it’s almost an hour. The total time he spent at my place was less than 20 minutes.

It’s enough with Bakersfield Plumbing. I would have given a half-star, but there was no option for it. I do not recommend BP to anyone.

Today we had Charles Hutcherson as a plumber in our home and we were very impressed by his professional attitude and his good attitude towards us and friendliness and just real personable. We are very happy with the service and just pleased with overall all of it. Thank you.

Best service I could have hoped for!
I called them after hours on Friday the 13th. The bill was less than half another company charged me on regular time, And that other company left little messes, and I learned they probably used a small snake that didn’t clean the line we’ll and that’s why the service only lasted 2 months .

Seemed very knowledgeable, experienced, and conscientious regarding making sure the job was done properly. He double checked his work before he left and I was completely satisfied with the end result. So nice to have a new faucet that works better than my other one ever did.

The office was very informative and answered all our questions. Their technician Fernando called ahead of time and kept the schedule appointment time. Fernando did an excellent job in removing and installing a new water heater, complete with all required strapping and pan needed to. bring everything up to code. Charles came and fixed our drain from the washing machine it was backing up into the kitchen sink and he snaked it and cleaned his mess up. We were just totally happy with his service and he was friendly and courteous and very polite. I just wanted to give him five stars and say he needs a raise for sure he was by far one of the better plumbers or handyman that we’ve ever had. The prices were reasonable and now we have no problem since he left super happy thank you Charles.! Will for sure recommend your business to anyone we know that needs a service you provide

HPS is a wonderful company. From the office to the service people who come to your door and do the work! Edgar is the best. On time, hard working, explains everything in detail and does a thorough job. Kind and friendly too! I highly recommend this company!

Frankie was very professional during the service. My anxiety increases when I need plumbing repairs, but Frankie put me at ease and completed the job quickly but efficiently. I will definitely use HPS again!

Thanks to Manny our technician who did a great job repairing our broken outdoor faucet. He really knows what to do and is always professional in his demeanor and skills. This is the second time he has helped us with household situations and we really appreciate him.

HPS was able to work me in the same day and Frankie, the technician was great and honest. He didn't try to charge me for unneeded services and performed the needed services with the highest quality. If I ever need services in the future, I will be calling HPS.

My Technician Edgar called ahead of time to let me know he was on the way. He arrived well within the state window of time for the appointment. Edgar was very friendly and professional and did a great job replacing our water heater.

I called HPS on a Friday morning about my busted water heater that was flooding my house and thankfully they came that afternoon and replaced it. Super timely and helpful. However the technician, Manny, was a real jerk. Left a huge muddy mess all over the laundry room near the heater and left trash everywhere, including the yard. The plumbing work itself was great but the guy was a terrible experience.

I don’t normally write reviews but after a third request I feel like I have to. Don’t get me wrong they were great. I was very pleased with their work. However I would never buy a hot water tank from them again. It is the worst hot water tank I have ever had. They did come out and work on it. It did improve the hot water. Now I get warm water in my master bath. It takes about five to ten minutes to get it to the point that I can’t hold my hand under it. The last 2 hot water tanks I had it only took 10-20 seconds for hot water.
