I called HPS for a plumber to fix my whole house shutoff valve, and was delighted to find that they sent Edgar . He did his usual excellent job. I should probably have placed this review over a year ago, as at the time, he not only provided excellent plumbing services, but was incredibly kind-- taking care of a big problem for my 95 year old father who had moderate dementia. We'd had a "budget" plumber install a toilet in my father's bathroom. The toilet leaked at the seal and rotted out the floor, so now we needed both the toilet and flooring replaced. Ordinarily, those things would be done on separate days and the bathroom would be out of commission for an extended period. Edgar recruited, and coordinated with, Jost flooring (they were also wonderful) to get it all done in less than one day so that my father's routine would be as little disrupted as possible. I am forever grateful for both the skill and the compassion shown by Edgar and this company. I have used them for other work and their plumbers have been consistently competent, polite and left their work spaces clean.

I Had a water leak under my house and Chris from Hps Mechanical came out and got it fixed in no time ! He was really polite,Helpful and answered every question I had upon arrival. He was really polite and was dressed in his uniform and provided Excellent service. Thanks Hps for always keeping your guys on point.

I had some work done in the garage, when my water heater was reattached, by another plumbing company. Who left the vent off the top of the water heater, it was not noticed for a few days. So I had to call HPS Plumbing, and We were shocked that plumbers would leave a vent off a water heater that was letting carbon monoxide flow freely in our garage. Edgar was our plumber he was great, and very professional. They came right away to get the problem solved. I highly recommend HPS Plumbing to everyone.

Called HPS on a Saturday for an emergency call out due to an outdoor pipe breaking. HPS sent out a technician in less than a hour. Albert Sanchez was the technician and was extremely knowledgeable and fast. Pricing was reasonable due to it being a Saturday.

Edgar and Joele did a great job for us on our home water supply re-pipe...a very big job done impressively in about two days. Everything was approached with attention to detail and efficiency. They more than left our home better than it was before. They cleaned up and minimalized plumbing/fixtures to where it even looked better. Me and my wife highly recommend HPS Plumbing.

We had our water heater go out on the weekend and the dispatcher had a serviceman with a new water heater at our door within an hour. The serviceman had the new top quality water heater insulated and he upgraded the waterline to Bakersfield City codes within a few hours. The service was great and efficient. The price was lower than what we were expecting for a weekend emergency project, which made us even happier. Definitely the best plumbing service in Bakersfield and I highly recommend them.

The plumber (Frankie) is professional, friendly and polite. Frankie has been to our house twice and both times has done repairs in a timely manner, also cleans up any mess that is made.
Definitely will recommend HPS to family and friends.

Called on a Friday, said they'd come out first thing Monday morning. Called Monday morning when no one showed up and they said we never scheduled anything. Yet they had my information on file..

They eventually did send someone and the problem was fixed. I paid $325 at time of service. Just got a bill for $262 for the same job. Not only did they overcharge me, now they're trying to double bill.

Horrible company. Will never use them again.

I'm pleased to share that I received exceptional service from Albert Sanchez. I had a plumbing issue in my master bathroom and Mr. Sanchez was thorough in his examination of the issue. He kept me informed about everything he was going to do as he was working. He was also very conscience of entering my home with appropriate protective gear so that he wouldn't get my floors dirty or contaminate anything inside. His partner Manny came just in case they were needing to go under the house and look for leakage, and he too was very professional and personable. I'm SO PLEASED with the work Mr. Sanchez provided! Thank you HPS, your company will be the first I call if ever I have issues in the future.

HPS plumbing stepped in when I had a problem with another plumbing company - have been very happy with their service - Especially with their representative Edgar. He is knowledgeable and courteous. He kept me updated on arrival times, etc. Am happy to recommend HPS and Edgar.

I have used HPS plumbing services for business needs over the last year. Jesse is the plumber who usually works on our drain installations and water connections. Jesse is highly reliable, communicates well, timely and goes above and beyond when doing repairs. The office staff works well with our billing department, are courteous and are prompt with appointments. Definitely 5 stars!

The technician, Albert Sanchez, did a great job! He was on time, efficient, professional, thorough, polite and friendly. Our water heater failed on Sunday (yesterday) and HPS replaced it Monday morning. We have used this company before and had great service and did again.

Woke up this morning the way no one ever wants to... with two flooded bathrooms. I called HPS and they told me that they would get someone out this afternoon. Well, just a couple of minutes later, I got a call from a tech telling me that he could actually be there right now. So from call to arrival was only about half an hour. Both techs (Frankie and Jesse) were very friendly and helpful, and very clearly explained what the issue was. I can't fault anyone, from the people who initially answered my call, to the techs, to the billing department, on their customer service.

Was the price a little high? I don't know. Plumbers are expensive in general, and when you're up to your ankles in water, you're not counting pennies. But there were no surprises. I was told how much the service would cost and why in advance, which is more than a lot of companies do. I will definitely call HPS in the future.

HPS Tech. arrived at my house, the same day I called requesting installation of my new toilet tank. Service Technician Albert Sanchez was extremely professional in his listening skills, and work ethic. He provided information and estimate immediately and wasted no time. He was meticulous and took great steps to prep the area around the toilet to keep everything dry. He cleaned up and removed the old tank and lid. He was pleasant and kind and very respectful. I am thrilled to have found a Plumber that I can trust and will call again if needed.

First, I would like to say that the lady that I had spoke with the boss, she was very kind and understanding, and I truly appreciate her, but as far as the employees that I witnessed today, making fun of somebody and belittling them and pointing and laughing because they’re out here getting recyclables for their family Shame on you. I’m gonna pray for you. You never know what someone’s going through at the end of the day hustle is a hustle. We’re just out here trying to feed our family and instead we’re getting laughed at and mocked at while people are on the job at the end of the day your job isn’t any better than mine you do plumbing with all due respect so your job is essentially the same as our hustle right now . I really pray that you men that I saw laughing and mocking my husband do not do this again to someone else . We live in a cruel world it takes not even one second to be kind.

I called HPS early in the morning to schedule a service visit to repair a leaking toilet. To my surprise, a technician was able to come out to my home that morning and quickly repair the leak! Edgar was so nice and professional and brought the toilet up to code by installing some new hardware. Great price and great service! Would highly recommend to anyone needing plumbing services!

We woke up to water leaking from our door jams in our kitchen and dining room . I called and talked with Alicia Rodriguez who was very knowledgeable and helpful. She scheduled a crew to come out right away within twenty minutes . Manny and his helper ( I didn’t get the hellers name ) were amazing they found the problem and had it fixed in about forty five minutes. Very knowledgeable, very professional, and very pleasant. We’re waiting for a bid to redo our pipes as they are 40-year-old galvanized pipes. And we look forward to work with working with them again I highly recommend HPS.
