It was such a pleasure having Sam install my water heater. This is a very friendly and patient guy who likes to share his knowledge while he works so diligently. He knows exactly what it takes for a correct installation. He had all the answers to my questions. I hope you have the opportunity to have Sam help on your project, you will not regret it.

Misleading Google reviews, awful mistake choosing John Padilla Plumbing to replace our toilet. Patrick quoted $2000+ unless “felange” needed replacing, then $4500!!! Looked up some details and realized the whole job with parts should be about $1000, felange (which we didn’t need)btw is fixed with a $60 kit. Soo disappointing, scam artists. Had to pay $300 to get rid of them, for quote and removal of toilet only.

Our tech Humberto Royal was extremely professional. He arrived on time- in the rain- took every precaution to not track mud inside. He took care of our clogged drainage system in minimal time& explained all work preformed. Very pleasant experience.

John Stevenson plumbing, heating & air-conditioning is the best. I'm a small customer yet, the technicians treat me like a VIP! Brent & Ty - you give the highest level of professionalism, service, & expertise.

For plumbing, heating, and a/c service needs, I highly recommend John Stevenson.

Scheduling a quote was a breeze, Joe came out, on time, and gave me what I firmly believe to be an honest and fair assessment of what we need done for our plumbing. Beyond that, he answered any and all questions I had and even helped me out with a water heater situation I had. I'll happily pass along the John Stevenson Plumbing name, and Joe in particular, to anyone that asks.

WAIT! Make Note: the only reason this is a 5-Star Review is because the company pays its technicians a bonus for each 5-Star Review and the technician on our service deserves the bonus.
HOWEVER, this is not a 5-Star Review on the Company. Based upon all of my experiences recently, I can only offer a "Proceed with Care" review. Three years ago, their initial visit and service was superb. Recently, the company has performed more like the Keystone Cops (if you are not old enough, Google it). Their rush to embrace AI (artificial intelligence) is both condescending and unethical. Call them and find out for yourself...you won't get a human being, but you will get a bot that SOUNDS very much like a human. Since this fact is unethically NOT disclosed by the company, the only way you can find out that you are talking to a machine is to ask the Murderbot (see Netflix) is to ask if they are human...the bot will admit it is not.
Then, there is the over-promise and under-deliver problem. The company claims that they will call you well-before your arrival to let you know they are coming. This does not happen. (I did get a text message from an unidentified stranger the night before, helpfully declaring that the would arrive "first thing in the morning". What the hell does "first thing in the morning" mean...how is that confirming an arrival time...6 a.m.?...8 a.m.?...later? The tech arrived at 9:30 a.m.)
Finally, their pricing seems at the highest end and their sales approach sadly reminds me of the standards of a used car lot. The individuals in this company are courteous and the work--when it finally gets done--is professional. But the journey needs serious improvement. Management has tuned out. Dump the Murderbot on the front end of all phone calls Or at least reveal to the caller you are using AI and offer a human alternative. Then, set up an audit system to ensure what you promise in customer communications actually happens.

We have worked with John Stevenson Plumbing for over 10 years. Just had the team out to replace our 25 year old furnace and replace the ductwork. Whole team is very professional from diagnosing the problems to installing the new equipment.
Would highly recommend working with them!

Paid $30,000 for a repipe. During the process the plumbers accidentally cut a hole into the bedroom floor on the second level which was meant to be fixed by another company they referred. The hole is still there a week and a half later and I’ve received no information about when it’s going to be repaired.

On top of that the team doing the repipe caused a leak which flooded my kitchen which has made it unusable for over a week. Appliances all needed to be moved to another room. Water remediation was done by their partner Fusion Flood & Fire but they haven’t come back in over a week to check if everything is dry, their equipment is still here and my kitchen is unusable. I also just discovered that the hot water on my kitchen faucet is not working.

I haven’t been able to live in my home because of the delays in getting this fixed.

I will happily amend this review from 1 star to something more suitable if a senior manager or company owner contacts me directly to further discuss a resolution.

Surprised at the high rating, because If I could give less than 1/2 a star I would. This company scheduled a service with me between 1pm & 4pm, then changed it to 5pm, then cancelled in at 4:15pm! I have no working toilets and all I needed was a line snaked. They cancelled last minute. Had to call another company to come out last minute. Left me without a toilet. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

We spent $14,800 (All on Credit card!) with John Stevenson Plumbing for a brand new tankless water heater and a whole home "carbon" water filtration system, and I’m heartbroken to say it’s been one of the most disappointing experiences we’ve ever had with a company.
We’re a big family with young kids, and my husband is a Veteran. We invested in this system for the peace of mind that our household water is cleaner and safer (Plus we need reliable hot water) , but as it stands, we’re left unsure if the system even works correctly and have had zero follow-up or accountability from the company. We truly expected a company of this reputation to treat Veterans—and all customers—with more accountability and respect.
One of my main concerns is that no water sample was taken before installation, meaning we have no baseline to compare post-install results. As a result, I have no way of knowing if the system is effectively removing chlorine, chloramine, or other targeted contaminants. Additionally, we were not informed whether our setup includes a sediment pre-filter or what brand or type of catalytic carbon media was installed. For a product intended to improve household water quality, I would expect complete transparency and proper documentation regarding what was installed. These are basic details that any professional company should clearly provide when installing a filtration system. There was also no flushing of the system to clear initial carbon fines, no verification of water pressure at multiple faucets after install, and—most importantly—no chlorine or chloramine testing performed after installation. These steps are standard in most professional installations to ensure both safety and performance.
The job was finished on Saturday, October 4th, and it’s now October 28th, and we still haven’t received any call regarding our concerns about the water quality.
For a company that advertises a “100% satisfaction guarantee,” we feel completely dismissed. We trusted this company with a major purchase that stretched our family’s budget, and it truly feels like we got ripped off. I really hoped to avoid leaving a review like this, but after giving them every chance to respond and make things right, the silence speaks volumes.

There was no hot water coming from my 5 yr water heater. No hot water was detected on Sunday, Nov 24, 2024. I called John Stevenson on Monday morning around 8 am. I received a response call within 1.5 hrs and a technician showed up on my property about 30 minutes from his call to me. He established what the problem was and explained what he could do to remedy the problem. Took him about 1 hour to service my burner that included cleaning (vacuum dirt off filter). After reassembly, he activated the burner and it worked as appropriate. He checked the exhaust fluke for possible blockage, but there was none. He also told me various options that were available, if the problem continued. I took those suggestions under advisement. It appeared to me that they knew what they were doing, very amicable, and knowledgeable. All-in-all, the service and quality of repair was excellent. As far as "value" for the cost of the service...I thought it was a bit expensive (short of $1,000) for what he did in servicing and cleaning of the burner...especially if you're on limit income. In my opinion, the cost should have been around $400 or $600 max.

The people I talked to a John Stevenson Plumbing were all very nice. The technician that came out (Michael) was on time, very friendly, knowledgeable and explained everything very well to me along with various options. I have to say that Michael did an excellent job on everything he installed/repaired and I was very pleased with him and his work. He also cleaned up before he left. The only negative thing (which was out of his control) was the standard pricing they charge for various items. It was WAY too high based on my knowledge and experience. They did agree to take the price down some but it was still too high in my opinion. I'm glad I went ahead and had the work done. Very pleased with the end result!!

We are members of the monthly maintenance plan. Today, Elijah inspected all drains and related shut offs as prescribed on the plan. We got a very good report on these in the home. This annual inspection plan does address all plumbing issues throughout the year.we get great peace of mind knowing all is maintained and and operating well. Highly recommend this program. Elija took care to explain all of the checkpoints for today. He wore protective booties while indoors.. when completed he showed me the report. No work is needed at this time!!

Matt and Logan painstakingly explained our furnace’s heat distribution problems, and after much brainstorming, gave detailed options to correct the situation. They were most friendly, knowledgeable, and sympathetic to our needs.

Alan and Hunter were very thorough, efficient and enjoyable and a pleasure to have in my home for an air con/heating system checkup. All the people from John Stevenson have been of the highest caliber and I have recommended them to other friends. Thank you!

Kevin Carnegie and Manley Smith skillfully and efficiently installed a whole house water filtration system. They professionally stepped through a four-hour process with great energy and focus. The preparations, installation, and cleanup were executed very, very well. We would readily welcome them back for another project. They superbly represented John Stevenson.

Mr Logan arrived on time with two trainees and all were very friendly and Knowledgeable. After an inspection Mr Logan drew a block diagram showing how the heater and air-conditioner have to work together with common ducts to have a smooth operation. He also showed me pictures to show the bad condition of 40 year old ducts and corroded pipes. He arranged financing that had no interest with an 18 month early pay off, that I insisted on. Good job Logan.
