I was assigned this company through my warranty company, American Home Shield, to see what was going on with my furnace. I was pleasantly surprised with the commitment to customers and quality service! Ziad was professional, knowledgeable, and very reliable. He communicated regularly to let me know the process of getting my furnace fix. He found a solution to the problem and worked diligently with my home warranty company to ensure my furnace was fixed in a timely manner. I appreciated his/Zaid's professionalism! I don’t know a better way to describe Zaid than quick, responsive, informative, and professional. I’m on the other side of the world, and he still helped me diagnose and resolve issues with my tenants mini‑split units caused by an installation misconfiguration and a blown water pump. He kept me updated throughout the entire process, coordinated with my insurance, and ultimately got everything fixed.

Fast. Responsive. Fairly priced. My heat/air had stopped working. My house was freezing. Zaid Abo came out the same day and fixed it within 30 minutes of arriving. He had determined that my thermostat had broken. He had a new one available and replaced it on the spot. 10/10 would use again. Thank you!

Full disclosure I am only reviewing a quote I received and am not reviewing any work. Others need to be aware of the price gauging and not be taken advantage of. I recently had Mauzy out for an estimate as my tankless water heater was leaking. The tech was friendly enough, but I imagine inexperienced as he had to video chat with a manager to "diagnose" the problem. I had already done the hardest part of the job, which was taking the cover off and removing the 4 screws. I have a navien npe 240s. The part needed was a navien water adjustment valve / bybass mixing valve (ranges from $60-$100). I bought one for about $90 and that was cause I paid for 2 day shipping. The actual work required removing two spring clamps and a wire harness (simple work you do with your fingers and no tools required). I was quoted almost $800 for a part that would cost under $100 and for labor that would take a new tech under 30 minutes and an experienced tech under 10 minutes. I feel like they also tried a scare tactic on me telling me that I'd be "better off getting a new water heater cause once something like this goes, other things are probably going and who knows if the valve is even the reason for my hot water problems". I received other quotes and none higher than $500. It took me 10 minutes to replace the valve myself and water was better instantly. I am not trying to hate on businesses making a living and paying people fair wages. I get all that. But $800 quote for a job that would had taken under an hour and product under $100. Stop taking advantage of people that don't know better and are trusting.

Abraham arrived on time within the hour with the call from Mauzy. He was courteous, wore plastic cover for shoes, greeted and introduced himself, and explained to us what the problem with the clogged sink was build up. He didn’t want us to pay extra for something we don’t need. Years of gunk and grease build up. He recommends the services and didn’t force anything on us. I highly recommend Abraham because he has a lot of heart, objectively since we discussed prevention of possible future build up but given our house is old, built in the 1950’s — changing the plumbing to expand the diameter of the drain plumbing seems like a better alternative. He gave us water facts sheet and they also offer a lot of services for heating/cooling and electrical as well.

I had a new heater system installed in my house about two weeks ago And since that time I was experiencing A noise that sounded like a bass Or subwoofer playing. It happened every time the heater came on. A technician came out and his name was Mr. William Carter. I have to commend him on his knowledge of the heater systems because he knew exactly what I was talking about. He called it a “Whoomp whoomp“ sound. And I replied, “Yes, that’s exactly what it sounds like“. He ran some tests, Made some adjustments with the gas flow, Explained to me exactly what was going on, Corrected the issue and ran more test until the “Whoomp whoomp“ Sound no longer came on. I cannot explain how thankful I am for the time that he took to explain everything to me. He provided great customer service because he showed me he cared by displaying patience with my questions. He went above and beyond by explaining to me how the thermostat worked and I am so grateful he was the one that came To fix the issue. Thank you, Mr. William Carter.

I really wanted to have a good experience with Mauzy plumbing company, but unfortunately they didn’t meet my expectations. Communication was lacking, the service felt rushed, and the issue I originally called about still wasn’t fully resolved during the first appointment. For the price I paid, I expected more professionalism and attention to detail.

I hope they take this feedback to improve, but based on my experience, I wouldn’t feel confident using them again.

Had Abraham come out and help with my sink clog. He was so nice, worked quickly and resolved my issue in under an hour. Also gave me some good free advice on drain health. I'm going to request him personally if I have any other issues bc he was awesome!

Darren was professional and very thorough. He covered much re: the furnace upkeep which appreciated. We were charged a service fee $99 but my father had not removed the plastic cover from the new filter so that was what was wrong. I think $99 is too much but my father learned a lesson. Thank you!

Tim and his team were absolutely incredible. They handled everything beautifully and troubleshot issues without us having to deal with any issues on our own. I absolutely can't recommend Tim and his team enough.

Mauzy came out for routine maintenance on our furnace and AC unit. The technicians arrived five hours after the scheduled appointment with no notice or communication. We were told everything was in good working order, yet immediately after the visit the AC began blowing hot air—an issue we never had before.
Additionally, although they advertise “24-hour service,” it’s just a call center that takes your information, with no real immediate assistance.
Overall, this was a frustrating experience—long wait, no communication, and now a system that doesn’t work properly after their maintenance.

We needed an "electrical checkup" on our house, David was great! He listened to our needs & made a few suggestions without pressuring us. He is about as fair & honest as I could hope for!

Abraham was awesome and super knowledgeable! He took the time to educate me on options and what to think about for the future, but no pressure today. He was easy to talk to and clearly knew what he was doing. He gave me recommendations and food for thought. I will definitely be using this company again and hoping Abraham services the call!

Joshua was professional and courteous. His detailed description of filtration systems, along with inspection and recommendations for correction of my failed in line water filter were a sell point for the filter I subsequently purchased from Mauzy plumbing. He provided above and beyond service, tightening fixtures and replacing piping and components at no extra charge. He demonstrated how water quality reflected filter performance, which turned out to be what he predicted it would. I was more than satisfied with Joshua's informed and thorough
