Antonio and his fellow worker were most professional. They took extra care of my property as they cleaned my dryer vent. It was a bigger job and they had zero complaints and was most courteous. I highly recommend them for your dryer cleaning. I think their higher ups are very fortunate to have them in the company. Make sure you show these guys appreciation.

Review for Wes Hernandez from West Coast Heating and Air. How was Wes 🤔 Wes was brilliant. He first came to give me an estimate on cleaning my mini split unit. He let me know he was on his way, arrived promptly and explained everything. Wes wrote up an estimate and I scheduled the work. Again, Wes called to let me know that he was on his way for the job. He even had the Office call earlier to let me know that he was going to be coming at the end of the scheduled window. He was very professional, efficient, and courteous the entire time he was here. Wes was very meticulous when setting up the procedure so that there wouldn’t be any damage to my home and worked diligently to get everything done in a reasonable amount of time. When he was through, he cleaned everything completely, tested the mini split unit, and double checked the unit outside. Wes also took great care to make sure that my pets were out of the way. I will ask for Wes to come and do any inspections on the equipment in the future. West Coast Heating and Air had installed two mini split units for me and I find the company to be reliable and a good value for their work. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a new heating and air conditioning system installed by West Coast Heating, Air Conditioning and Solar because our 17 year old system finally had it. The company was very pleasant and professional to work with and they did a great job installing the system.
After the initial installation Sam, a Senior+ Technician, came out and finessed the system - reduced the sound of the air conditioning system, the humidity level and checked everything over to ensure it was all in order. We are very happy with the results, the customer service of West Coast Heating, Air and Solar. Would recommend.

Nick did an awesome job providing a free inspection on our HVAC system to diagnose any issues on our minisplit. He was much more thorough than I expected, checking connections in the attic and the outdoor condenser unit. Company was quick to respond and overall professional. Would definitely go back to them with other HVAC needs.

3/4/26 UPDATE: The owner, Mike Anderson, reached out to me directly this morning to address my concerns and while the resolution is still pending while we wait on weather, based on his response (which is below), I have full faith that he will follow-through. Thus, I am amending the review ahead of time.

His response:
[This HVAC tech] will no longer be servicing your system, and this matter has been addressed internally to ensure it does not happen again.

Let’s approach this a bit differently. Since accurate cooling performance readings are best verified in warmer outdoor conditions, I recommend we schedule another visit when temperatures are slightly higher. We will come back out at no additional cost to ensure the system is operating properly under true cooling load conditions. At that time, we will also bring the correct replacement filters with us.

3/3/26 Today was the first of the new set of 4 maintenance visits for the Trane heat pump and Airmark air handler installed in March of 2025.

The tech was friendly and documented his review of the heat pump on the roof with photos and then, reviewed his findings with me. When reviewing the results, the tech said that he really could not measure how quickly the system cooled down the room since there wasn’t much difference between the outside air today and the A/C set to 60 degrees. So, if he needed to measure that functionality then why did he not first turn the heater on and then switch to A/C? Afterall, the spring maintenance check is the one that supposedly focuses on the A/C, although I feel the A/C should be a focus in all checks based on where I live.

In his notes he wrote "checked (2) 10x24x1 filters did not need to be replaced but left customer replacements." I asked to be left the replacements as they are part of the maintenance package and I will need them before the fall maintenance check, because my bunny will start his spring molt shortly. However, he did not leave me the correct size filters. He cut down what were originally 14x24x1 filters and I guess I'm just supposed to smoosh them into the space?

It seems to me that if you know what equipment is installed in my condo (because your company installed it and I have had two maintenance checks since then), then you should know what size filters to bring.

While this is a small point when compared to the overall check of the equipment that was done, it continues to highlight that there is a distinct difference between the professional work of the install team versus the maintenance team. (The install team in March of 2025 was 10/10, 5 stars in all aspects.)

I was told that twice yearly maintenance ($96 per visit) is necessary on the newer type of heat pumps, because they are "more sensitive" and to keep my warranty valid. If that is true, then I would think that details matter. And if you can't be bothered with something as simple as using/ providing the correct air filter, then how much attention to detail was given when checking the equipment?

West Coast Heating and Air did a great job at pricing and installation of our new Hvac system. They explained our options . . Highly professional and hard working workers. We had a slight issue after installation and they fixed it right away. This is the heating and air company you want!

The technician, Nick, was very professional, explained his work and the issues thoroughly, and let me know all of the options available for my system. Highly recommend.

From sales call to project finish, West Coast has communicated clearly, provided excellent service and top notch work. The technicians they sent out to work on installing our system were on time, respectful, and cleaned up after themselves thoroughly on each of the 3 days it took to install. We're very happy with our new heat pump system (and the service + manufacturers warranty that came with it!)

Been using this company for years, was great they were able to take my call on a Sunday and had options for appts in the next few days that worked with my availability. Thomas arrived in designated time to troubleshoot a malfunctioning Nest thermostat. He was able to get it to work again but wifi still wouldn't operate, so we opted to replace unit with Honeywell unit instead that they offered. Thomas was able to install, test, and show us how to use it in a very timely manner at a reasonable price. Will have no issues using them again in the future.

West coast was amazing! Changed my AC only system to heat pump and AC. As well as upgraded my old tankless water heater to a new tankless water heater. They were knowledgeable and gave me all the details up front. They also scheduled us quickly and got all the work done in one day. Ilias and Art and their teams were very professional and you could tell they knew what they were doing. Super happy with all the upgrades and would go back to using West coast for all my heating/cooling needs. Thank you!

Ilya and Max did an outstanding job with the equipment removal I contracted West Coast Heating Air and Solar to complete. They were professional, careful with my property and thorough. They filled holes that were left behind and replaced an old rusty electrical box with the new plastic unit. They were both quick and careful. Definitely recommend.

Mom stated her heater was not blowing hot air compared to the past. Chary tested it and said everything was fine. Chary checked and cleaned the filter. Chary reported nothing needed to be repaired. Then he suggested the maintenance so that future calls would be covered. We signed up for it which is a great piece of mind. Thanks Chary for the honest feedback. Pedro is an outstanding technician and his customer service skills are the Best! He efficiently replaced 2 broken panels (that he originally discovered) and while installing the new ones, also identified another panel that was not producing. He took time to show me the Enphase with all the data to report the problem.

Superb, service yet again! Antonio came for two services- the first was air duct cleaning which was desperately needed. When he was completing this service he took a peak at my older HVAC unit and gave me a honest opinion suggesting a deep cleaning for the blower assembly and evaporator coil as they were impacted and possibly compromised. I’m not sure if I could say one service over the other was more beneficial but I did notice that after the air duct cleaning my allergies were much better and after the deep clean on the HVAC the cooling was much quicker and more consistent. Either way, I’m very happy Antonio was able to get all these services done within a week and that they were moderately affordable!

Liyon did an awesome job cleaning my mini splits. Super chill, super professional, and clearly knows what he’s doing. He showed up on time, worked efficiently, and left everything clean and dialed in. The units are running smoother and the air feels way better already. Technician Chary Ong did a great job troubleshooting our mini split system. He was very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable about AC systems. He gave us great recommendations and suggestions to fix our issue. It was a pleasure speaking with him. He gave us a great service.

This is my first Google review. We did our due diligence by getting 4 bids for your hybrid hot water heater and HVAC system. Tony Borokhov was the consummate professional sales representative. His 20+ years of experience in the business at all levels combined with his customer centered approach make him the perfect liaison for this excellent company. The bid they provided was remarkably complete and made the other slipshod ones we received almost laughable. It was also extremely competitive. Tony explained his recommendations in detail and gave us several options. He had the patience of a saint in answering my many questions and concerns and promptly returned my many calls if he didn't immediately pickup. The instillation crew was amazingly efficient and uphased by the extreme physical challenges of our instillation. There we a few minor glitches with the initial system-thermostat interface and circuit breakers, but these were addressed and corrected amazingly quickly by West Coast's outstanding service technicians. Our system has now been functioning flawlessly for 4 months. All systems are far better than our old units, and it's reassuring to now have a total electric home. No gas bill and a lower electric bill due to the new unit's increased efficiency. We've been consistently impressed with the responsiveness and professionalism of the company's office staff. On several occasions I had to drop a call when it had only rung a few times, and they call ed me back o check if I needed their assistance. Do be sure address the condensate from the exterior unit has was quite a bit more than we expected. I would highly recommend this excellent company and request Tony as your sales representative. If only all other companies were this good!

Volodymyr was very nice and pleasant at the door to greet. He is very knowledgeable of the hybrid water heater I called for service. He inspected the water heater thoroughly and he immediately found the problem. He tried to fix it every possible way but the unit was not fixable. He explained to me the issue. I was completely satisfied of his work and manners. I will definitely trust him and West Coast need to feel lucky to have a technician like Volodymyr.
