Great place, Ross did the best in locating and order 2 CAT's for my non CA emissions vehicle. After installation, the car passed the smog test and I was able to register in CA. Job was fast and price is competitive.

Ross was fantastic!! I just bought a new truck and it had some huge, loud racing style exhaust. The sound was just annoying! I brought it to Ross this morning and he gave me some options on how to make it quieter. He squeezed me in same day, put on a muffler and gave me the old exhaust system so I can sell it or whatever. The sound of the truck is MUCH quieter. He told me to come back if I want it even quieter and he will make more adjustments. The price was very reasonable. I plan to bring my Corvair back to him next! So happy to find a nice, knowledgeable, fast service center to help me. Extremely pleased.

Came here because of last person review of Ed Hansen Muffler Service. I agree that since the owner changed it has only been about making money and lost value. I paid over ridiculous amlunt for one exhaust and I did not even receive the muffler I wanted from there.

I brought my camaro here this morning (dual exhaust) received quote and got it installed on the same day. The price and professionalism is off the chart. Every shop needs to learn from el cajon muffler. This is how you do proper business.

While on vacation in CA my car started making a funny sound. After reading a bunch of reviews from a number of muffler shops I went to Ross at El Cajon Muffler & AC. He explained what the problem was and gave me a reasonable estimate. I decided to get the issue fixed so he had my part sent to him from LA the next day. When the part came in he called for me to bring him my car. He got right on it and had me back on the road in a reasonable amount of time. I would recommend anyone needing muffler work done to go see Ross. Now I can continue on my vacation. Check the reviews like i did and I'm sure you'll make the same choice I did. You won't regret it. Starting off the brand new year with confidence after I came to this muffler shop and worked with Ross. Brought my car in because it had an exhaust leak. Not only did Ross fix the exhaust leak in a very reasonable time, but he also kept me informed throughout the process. Total time for repair was approximately 1 hour start to finish. Not only that, but this shop is very reasonably priced. Thank you Ross. You're excellent customer service. I will definitely be using your shop in the future and referring all my family and friends.

I have a 2013 f150 that I bought and installed an aftermarket kit that came with most of the parts including tips. I took my truck to two different places in town only to be told that my exhaust was put in wrong and to have it be right it needed to removed and reinstalled. I stopped by Ross's shop and explained the situation, he took a look and quoted me half of what the other shops wanted. He got it done the same day taking just a little over an hour. He didn't remove my whole system. He made adjustments to what was already in place and welded on my tips. I couldn't be more pleased !!!

Ross is Absolutely Awesome. Since my go to shop for over 25 years, “Ed Hansen Muffler Service” changed ownership, their values changed as well an I vowed NO MORE as I no longer felt welcome there and they are very expensive. I was recommended to El Cajon Muffler & Air Conditioning by my mechanic of 25 years, Clifton Mercedes. Ross is all about quality and old school values and I am very delighted to have found him, he’s a total pleasure doing business with and he’s extremely knowledgeable.

Jake was very professional and courteous. He was friendly and efficient, he answered every single question my husband and I both had and even went above and beyond . His explanations over some of our questions were great and easy to understand, he was very thorough. We highly recommend him!

Kyle came out and fixed all our issues and we added protection to our units we live in a area where they do blackouts very kind very nice very professional highly recommend Kyle and his company that he works for they know how to do. Good customer service.

Robert was a gem! He delivered outsanding service- diagnosing the problem and solving it on the spot. Before him Airmaxx came twice but was not able to fix the issue and instead gave us an $8,000 quote for a replacement.

Professional, friendly, and quick. We needed a solution for a space above our garage as the exhaust smell from our cars made it uncomfortable. They gave us 2 options, we went with a HEPA filter system and they came out the next day and did the install. After a couple of hours, the smell was gone! Price was a flat rate including tax, no credit card fees. They also gave us a 12 month add on served to inspect our plumbing, electrical and HVACs for no additional cost.

Installation of the product and the installation of the installers was absolutely great. A+ work.

Kyle was very friendly and knowledgeable. He informed us we shouldn’t have filters on all three of our return vents and it has made a big difference in the home’s temperature. 4 stars only because I did request during scheduling that leaks be checked for and that wasn’t done

Great service! Had a company come out and told me I needed a whole new ac unit/furnace. I had a new unit put in 6 years ago! It didn’t seem right, contacted Nick G. (Owner) He personally came out to check our unit, he got a technician over. Robert (technician) had everything fixed in less than an hour! $12,000 less than what I was quoted from the other guys!
