Jake was amazing! He called before he arrived, he arrived on time, he explained everything he was going to do, then showed us what he did. He has a great personality, by far one of the best technicians that has ever worked on our house from any company. He's way better than Jake from state farm.

Cole and Josh were very Professional and Personable. We appreciated their honesty and knowledge. It was a pleasure to work with them.

8/13/24 Edit: I have officially used Comfort Bros on 7 different occasions for a variety of HVAC and more recently plumbing services. They've done 3 different HVAC installs, an HVAC Tune up, an HVAC diagnosis & repair, a water heater flush, and a whole house water filter installation. These guys are reliable and consistently exceed my expectations with their quality of work. I will absolutely continue to use Comfort Bros for all of my future HVAC and Plumbing work!

7/3/25 edit: make that 8 different occasions. Had to have them out to snake and camera a sewer line. They provided some recommendations due to the age of the cast iron pipes and it looks like I'll be having them another few days to get pipelining done for a permanent fix to my drain problems.

2/27/26 edit: That is now the 9th & 10th time I've had the pleasure of working with them. Matt, their plumber, & Julian and electrician, came out to install my bidet. The team had to install a new GFCI outlet, move some copper water lines, and mount the unique bidet adapter to the floor before finishing the install. They do great work as always.

My Technician, Elvis, was prompt, professional, knowledgeable and super cool.
I would highly recommend him and I will request him again.
This company has shown me that there is hope still for decent companies out there. Thanks again for doing your job the way it should be done.

Cody provided an excellent install visit for a tankless water heater and softener/filtration system for the whole house. He was easy to talk to and professional, got the entire job complete in one day. I really appreciated the time he took to walk me through the system and the work performed. Would highly recommend!

Josh our technician was very knowledgeable and did a great job assessing our system. He clearly explained what was wrong, how to fix it, and how comfort bros. could help. Our fix was not easy and ended up requiring a new condenser unit. The team quickly installed the new unit while working with my schedule. We could not be happier with the service. I highly recommend Comfort Bros. for your hvac issues and will be using them again!

Our HVAC crew, Jonathan and Matthew H, of Comfot Brothers completed a pretty extensive project for us today. They were professional, great communicators, easy to work with and provided much needed information about our system and potential future needs. I would recommend them for your services.

Robert came over and inspected my furnace of 20 years and recommend to replace it due to some loose pipes. The inspection is well thorough. He also had his tech supervisor came over for second opinion and for sure they care about my safety and I decided to go with the new system, since it is “a must” to do it anyway in the future so might as well do it now. After a brief discussion with what system to get, I got a good pricing and deals with the new furnace system. Thanks to Robert and Josh!

I had a complete AC/Heat unit installation done today. Te technicians Jonny, Christian and Matt were great! They had a messy situation from our previous unit, but got it done all today and left everything clean! Jonny was great about explaining how it all worked and explained the new thermostat. My condo is already more comfortable! Thanks for the great job!

Great Service/ Extremely Honest
Scott was such a great technician. He answered all of my questions and was so professional. I had my starter replaced with a better model and it came with a 5 year warranty on part and labor.

guys worked hard, did a great job. Accommodated my tight schedule I couldn’t be happier. I recommend them to anyone who wants good service, fair treatment, and fair pricing. I’m from New York and it’s the best service I’ve had in San Diego.

Needed new ductwork under my 100 year old home. Comfort Bros came out and did a thorough evaluation of the problem, the crew that changed the duct system did excellent work and the company followed up to make sure that I was totally satisfied. I highly recommend them and will use them again.

Summary: 100% would use comfort bro's again. Had a full HVAC system installed with ducting. The price, workmanship, and customer service are second to none. When a house fire took out the condenser, they went above and beyond to come back out and replace it at a great price.

Longer review:

Comfort bro's came out a few months back and did a full install of an HVAC system in my house. Nick came out to take a look at what I needed, and he was amazing. Very friendly and understanding, going so far as to present cheaper options to me which shows he's not after the money. Since I wanted to have everything replaced, we did duct work, registers, condenser, furnace, air handler, the full package. I went back and for with Jennifer over email for quite some time getting all the details ironed out, and in the end we had a package priced out that beat the 7 other companies I was working with by a long shot.

When they came out to do the install it was extremely professional and clean. The workers were efficient, kind, skilled, and very detailed. They took care to explain what they are doing, and did an excellent job on the installation. About a week later I needed the airflow altered a bit as some rooms were getting too much, they sent out a tech and he took care of it within half an hour.

Fast forward a few months and unfortunately I had a garbage can catch on fire (no fault of the AC unit) but it ended up destroying the outside condenser unit. I called comfort bro's and Nick came out to take a look at the damage. Ultimately it required a replacement of the condenser and associated wiring. He worked with me on price as money is extremely tight due to an accident I was in recently, but he exceeded expectations and helped me get a new unit installed for a fantastic price. The crew came out the next day and had it done by lunchtime.

I am someone who does a nauseating amount of research for weeks before spending big money on something like AC, a car, etc. I can tell you that through all my research and dealing with multiple AC companies, comfort bro's came out on top and they backed it up with they service to me. 10/10 would recommend them to anyone I know.

Comfort Bros did a wonderful job installing our heat pump. Kyle, Nicholas, Cole, and the entire team were knowledgeable and professional, and took the time to explain how the system works and the recommended maintenance. Very happy with Comfort Bros!

This was my first time having Comfort Bros. service my air contains I couldn’t be happier with Jake!
He informed me of when he would arrive, was punctual and immediately put on shoe coverings upon entering my home.
He was very thorough and competent, friendly and easy to talk to.
He even made a special effort to service the lower unit first so I could put the baby down for a nap.
Took his time explaining what he had done and even showed pictures.
I was extremely happy with the service and Jake was superb!

Charlie and Omar did a great job and made it look easy! They explained why we had an issue, what caused it, and how to prevent it in the future. Fantastic service!
Not a surprise from Comfort Bros: they take care of my AC, plumbing and electric, and they’ve always done a great job.

Jake was very professional polite and very knowledgeable answered all our questions. We were Hammels customers but for some reason they are no more and the Comfort Bros took over and if the service is always like Jake did today. We will definitely be signing up for the annual membership.

I was so disappointed in this company. I had high hopes—I was able to get an appointment pretty quickly, they were courteous, called to confirm the appointment and showed up on time. However, their rates were ridiculous. I needed the bathtub drain plug replaced. Instead of fixing it, he gave me a quote of $2k to go through the downstairs ceiling, install a new plug and repair the drywall. I still don’t understand exactly what he wanted to do because it didn’t make sense, and he never bothered to send me the estimate. I also have two bathrooms with sink handles that are a little difficult to turn. I have the replacement cartridges. But to change them, he quoted $350 a bathroom. My husband ended up going on YouTube and replaced the tub drain for $30 (and no hole in my ceiling). He will do the same for swapping out the cartridges. They either hired an incompetent plumber (unlikely) or are preying on people who don’t understand much about plumbing.
