I had a great experience with the home HVAC installation through Mac’s Plumbing and Repair. Our home had the original HVAC system that was over 21 years old and deteriorated. Joseph, Ed, and Tanner did a wonderful job on explaining the process and installation and remain professional. I would recommend their services to my family and friends.

I’ve used Mac’s for multiple projects on my older home, and each time I’m impressed. They are friendly and professional. Easy to schedule. I’ve used them for small projects like changing faucets and big projects like installing a new tankless water heater and repiping my home. Every encounter has been consistently on point.

We are beyond pleased with our experience with Mac’s Heating and Air. They converted our gas system to electric and went above and beyond to make sure that everything was done correctly down to the smallest detail. Nate and Nathan were professionals and cared for our home as if it were their own. We would definitely recommend them and will use them to maintain our new system.

Mac’s came out and replaced my 35 year old gas hot water heater in my 1924 house. They had lots of upgrades to do to bring it up to code. They were fast and neat and at a great price. Highly recommend!

I can't say enough good things about Mac's. I have had them install my tablets water heater, gas lines, amd shower valves. They are always on time, great communicators, hard working, clean, considerate, and do really reliable work.

Out of the four different techs that have done the different jobs, the experience is the same, 5 stars all the way.

We purchased a new HVAC unit from Mac’s Heat & Air. We had a roof leak that necessitated putting on a new roof so we decided to update the 33 year old rooftop HVAC unit at the same time. Steve assessed the situation and was able to start the job quickly. Steve and the Nate-and-Nathan team (and the entire staff) were professional and knowledgeable. They completed the job on time and kept us informed of their progress. We had used this company twice this year and have been impressed both times.

Erase I rate Max plumbing from 1 to 10 they have always done a good job. They have been to my home many times for other job. Also, they have inspectors to come out and inspect the work as they should. I’m very pleased with the work they do they are a good company in elk Grove, California. I hope this Mexican can help someone decide to pick Max plumbing. He won’t be disappointed. I have had stink work done air-conditioning work done new air conditioning put in and other things bathroom fix it so far and all these things they have done is very good. They are very knowledgeable. Clean to get right to the point. You have any questions to answer all your questions. They are very kind. I like that about this company all the employees those do a good job. The staff as well is good. They answer your question and makes appointment on time may always on time.

I had Mac's install a new Bradford White hot water heater for me on Friday, January 9th 2026. Steve the owner came out and gave me a bid. His professionalism, honesty, and straight forward approach is what sold me on him and his business. Ed was the installer and he did a great job. It's good to know that there are still honest business men out there. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a hot water heater or have plumbing issues!

We had a brand new Daikin heat pump installed replacing old Lennox HVAC system and also replacing entire ductwork which was more than 50 yrs old. Mac's was recommended by our close friends. Starting with the advisor Joseph who visited us first till the project is completed today, it has been a very enjoyable experience.
Nate is very knowledgeable answered all my questions along the way. Gabe, his associate is a good partner and very patient. They know their stuff and showed all pictures before and after.The guys are courteous and caring. Toni and MacKenzie in the office were very helpful and got me in touch with Steve when I had a question which I never saw with big companies before.
The inspectors will be visiting shortly but I want to share we are more than happy to recommend them.

Nate was extremely thoughtful, courteous, neat and organized. The water heater installation went smoothly and looked good. It works well and we are very satisfied!

Joe’s a good repair tech. He’s very professional and provides good customer service by answering my questions and concerns. I’m giving him 4.5 stars only because I thought he was too quick in his initial diagnosis and was not able to pinpoint the real heat pump issues before he got it working. But he came back and finish the job late at night.

All of the people I interacted with at Mac’s Plumbing was a positive experience. Mac’s replaced and moved my old water heater and they did everything: all the permits, the removal, cleanup, plumbing, installation, electrical and carpentry. It was a fantastic experience, and I had gotten 3 other estimates from other companies. Steve, Tony, Tanner and Ed were all collaborative and professional.

Choosing Mac’s Heating and Air for our Electric/Heat Pump Water Heater conversion was a fantastic decision! We took more than six quotes and Mac’s was the most reasonable in price. We knew we wanted to work with SMUDs rebate program, and Mac’s handled all the rebate paperwork, showing the rebate as a credit applied to our job up-front. Steve was an excellent, informative service manager who explained the process to us and compiled the final quote. Ed and Tanner were our installers and they were each outstanding representatives of the company. They were respectful of our home, gracious, kind, and even helped with the cleanup after we moved our washer and dryer for heater access and years of dust bunnies and lint were revealed. The installation was clean, professional and efficient. We appreciate the orientation they gave us about the new heater and look forward to years of savings. We are very happy with our new hybrid heat pump water heater (and that’s not just because we spent three weeks taking cold showers!). What really stood out was the owner, Steve. He didn’t immediately push a replacement water heater—instead, he took the time to thoroughly assess the existing unit and confirm that it truly couldn’t be repaired. Once that was clear, he walked me through two clear options—a “Good” and a “Better” estimate—so I could make an informed decision. The pricing was very fair and competitive, and they even helped me secure 18 months of 0% interest financing, which was a huge bonus.

The installation was completed exactly as promised. Ed paid close attention to detail, worked efficiently, and made sure everything was done right and went smoothly.

I've searched and looked at HVAC companies online to hire for my AC unit issues. After looking at several in the area, I decided to call and made a diagnostic appointment with Airmech Heating and AC. Christian, the technician arrived on time at 10:00am which I appreciated, since most service companies don't show up on the first hour. Christian was friendly, thorough and professional. He inspected and tested the system and its components. He did a great job! My AC unit is now running again and I couldn't be happier. I'm so glad to have found this company.
