Escondido is usually a bit warmer during the summer than other parts of San Diego, so we really didn't want to go through another summer without having AC and our window AC units simply were not cutting it. We called W HVAC because they installed a new air conditioner for our next door neighbor. Overall, everything was super easy, they installed the unit in a day and everything worked great.

The service associate was on time and friendly, he inspected and serviced the furnace and the air conditioning units. They passed, he was paid and I’m good for another six months or so.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Top notch customer service from start to finish. Fair pricing and reliable. Brian our tech did a fantastic job with the diagnosis of our furnace problem. He tried to keep it running for a few more months but in the end we decided on a whole new system as ours was 16 years old and more repairs down the road would be needed. He presented all options and costs in a very professional manner, and it was easy to make a decision knowing all the facts. The installers, Ramiro( and the other 2 gentlemen I did not get names, sorry) arrived on time and were very respectful of our home. They worked efficiently and had the new system up and running in about 5 hours. Dealing with customers myself, I really appreciated every facet of a job well done. It's hard to find companies you can trust, but this is definitely one you can call with confidence. Thanks again for the great customer service, you guys rock!

After receiving several estimates for a first time AC install, we decided to go with "My Guy". They offered a fair price for quality equipment. They were responsive to our phonecalls and questions. When the crew started work, they were always on-time, considerate to our home and property, and always did everything they said they would do.

Great people with a solid work ethic. What more could you ask for!

Called after business hours and they still responded quick, got someone out to fix our heating crisis before we froze solid overnight

Very knowledgeable and pricing was comparable to other companies. We had previous problems with a different company via our home warranty. I called My Guy and the front desk personal were very nice. They sent over Brian, who discovered several issues and was very thorough; he was here for several hours and emailed me his documentation/photos afterwards. Gave us several options and we opted for a new furnace. Install was smooth and the techs were nice and handled everything with care. We did have an issue with a new furnace that was installed; Brian was here very quickly and fixed the problem quickly, free of charge (was a manufacturer part problem, nothing that the My Guy techs did)! Brian is very nice and knows his craft well! They offer a great service warranty with their installs!

I purchased a new unit in 2022. I have had at least one tune up done since. At my latest visit, they found an issue which should have been caught at the install and the tune up. Now I am being quoted several thousand dollars to fix a mistake they made in their workmanship. They are under new management but that doesn't help my situation. The technician was great though. When you are getting estimates, remember this review and make sure that their estimate isn't cutting corners. I am now in a situation where I am unable to use a unit which was purchased in August 2022. Which means I can't use heat to keep my young kids warm.

Todd was super helpful and super professional. He came over to help repair my tub spout. He was quick, efficient, and well prepared!

He went above and beyond on the repair, as well as offering valuable advice for how I can keep the plumbing in my house in check.

He was on time. Explained what was wrong and what it would take to fix it. AC was up and running in under two hours. I will definitely recommend my guy to other people.

I was referred to My Guy from my real estate agent Pete Casperson who I trust implicitly for good local companies for home improvement needs. He gave me Caleb’s info, the owner of My Guy and Caleb came out to give us an estimate to upgrade our AC/Furnace, replace all our duct work and re-locate our units upstairs. Caleb was great, very easy to talk to and offered me a competitive price. I was not looking for the cheapest but I was also not looking to pay a premium price for this big project. I found My Guy to come in with a fair price for top end equipment. When it came time for install our head installer Storm was punctual and great to work with. He explained the process all the way along and kept our home clean during the process which was important to us. After the work was complete, we had Storm come out to do some minor adjustments and he was again very punctual and made our needs a priority. I think that some companies have a big sense of urgency at the time of install but the service levels fall off big time if you need follow up serve. It has only been a week but I have already referred out My Guy to a neighbor and plan to refer them to anyone in need of their services.

Elvis at my My Guy Heating and Air was the best technician for any company that I have ever had come to my house. Will be recommending him and My Guy Heating and Air to all my neighbors.

My HVAC system has been having numerous issues. I called My Guy Heating and Air and they worked with my schedule to get someone out to my house the next day. Elvis was the technician sent to help. Elvis was extremely knowledgeable and fixed multiple issues within the hour. Elvis answered all of my questions and was very respectful of my house in making sure he kept it clean. After Elvis fixed my system he even took the time to fully go over everything with me so I understood how my system worked and how to maintain it better for the future. Thank you My Guy Heating and Air for employing and sending a fantastic technician.

Refused to give me ballpark estimate for a leak test for HVAC system. It’s already been confirmed by another company that I have a leak. I understand that they have to do their own diagnostics, but I just wanted to know roughly what I’m working with. Would their leak test be $500? Would it be over $1000? These things are important to know before committing to a company that doesn’t do free estimates to begin with.

My wife was refered by my in-laws and this company was wonderful, respectful, courteous. This is why we continue to do business with them. I would refer to family and friends.

A shout out to Tyler for fantastic service! He arrived when expected, gave great attention to detail to get to the root of the problems we are experiencing with our AC unit. He carefully moved furniture and put it back when done. He took time to teach me how to remove, clean and replace the filters not only on the unit he was servicing but on another style unit we also have in our house. Tyler was very friendly and respectful in our home.

Victor and Keith were top notch. Very hard workers. Personable, kind and respectful. We had to get an entirely new system which was quite timely, but we'll worth it. I highly recommend these two gentlemen.

A great experience from Guy's A/C & Heating technician (William Fischer) William performed a diagnostics on my ac system today: He explained what needed to be checked and why; and he was polite and professional the entire time. I shopped around with several companies for a new furnace (heat pump) and A/C install, and from the very first contact, My Guy stood out like the cool kid at HVAC summer camp. Brody and Ryan were absolute rockstars on the customer service side—friendly, knowledgeable, and not pushy (hallelujah). It felt more like chatting with helpful neighbors than navigating a sales pitch.

And then came the dream team: Victor, Keith, and Yode. These guys didn’t just show up—they showed out. Professional, punctual, and clearly very good at what they do. They had the whole job done in TWO days! I’ve had Amazon packages take longer to arrive.

Now my home is cooler than a cucumber in a snowstorm and warmer than grandma’s hugs in winter. The new system runs like a dream and looks so neat and tidy, I’m tempted to invite guests over just to show off the furnace. Who does that? (Apparently I do now.)
