They installed a complete new unit for me in October 2014 and modified some ducting. The workers were very polite and professional. A few months into the next summer we found it was blowing warm air. They came and fixed it under warranty. The same problem continued every couple months over the next year - past the warranty - but they continued to work on it and not charge me. They finally traced the problem to a water sensor inside a condensation level device required by the state of California. They had replaced this aftermarket part a couple times before switching to a different manufacturer which solved the problem. I was very happy they never gave up and continued to treat it as a warranty repair. The unit has worked excellently for 2 years now. Thanks Melton!

Working with JC Melton was a pleasure from my first phone call to the installation. With the summer months approaching, I wanted to have a whole house fan installed but wasn’t sure what was best for the layout of my house. After several phone calls to local AC companies, I decided on JC Melton.

Brad Melton came to my house and discussed all my options, including the ideal location to get the most out of the fan. He also told me we could make it “smart” so Alexa could turn it on/off for me! Bonus!

The day of the installation, Sergio, Richie and Luis arrived promptly, they were professional, and very efficient. They left my house cleaner than when the arrived. The fan is amazing and exceeded my expectations.

If you are looking for a whole house fan or AC, I would highly recommend contacting JC Melton Air Conditioning. My experience was exceptional and the cost was less than other companies but the service was far superior.

We had Melton’s Air conditioning service our elderly fathers unit and they were very nice and helpful from the time we called to schedule the appointment to the tech that did the service. They didn’t take advantage of him and even gave a senior discount.

These guys saved me $15,000! My AC died suddenly in the heat and we were told it needed full replacement. Three AC companies agreed, and all quoted us $15,000 to $18,000 :( JC Melton Co came out, found a broken part, and said it would cost $200. They got it running very fast and the tech even took apart the fan and cleaned it, which no other tech has ever done even though we were getting it serviced yearly. HIGHLY recommend them if you live in the Fresno area.

After contacting another provider who said I had to replace the AC unit (only 20-30 thousand dollars), I called Melton. They fixed the problem for less than just the visit of the other company. Such a relief! One happy customer!

Service is always profession and kind. The technician was very patient and took the time to go over all the equipment making sure it works well.

I will always trust and go to JC Melton. I had an a/c company come out and tell me my unit was shot and it would cost me $20k to replace. I called JC Melton in a panic. They came out changed a couple of schrader valves and added refrigerant to my unit. $475 and years later, my unit is still doing great!!!!!!

Repairman Adan was informative and helpful even said he would change our air filter. Extremely nice and professional. This company is wonderful the only one we will use. The ladies who answer the phone are so nice and helpful. Great personalities. Thank you Melton.

I cannot say enough good things about our experience with JC Melton. The whole staff were amazing throughout our experience. It was a stressful time being without AC but they helped however they could. Not only attentive but trustworthy.

JC Melton is a name to trust. I had another company look at my unit and they told me I had a cracked heat exchanger and needed a new unit. JC Melton came out and ordered a part. $375 later my house is cool and comfortable. I have them out every year now to service my unit to keep it in tip top condition!!!!

They have an excellent reputation and have been in business for a very long time. Many of our friends and family all use them. The installation was completed and we have not had any issues. We have been with j c milton for over twenty five years. They installed our unit. We have never been unhappy. It is a quality unit.And we've been very very happy. We trust them.

Every person I interacted with was amazing. Everyone I spoke to at the office, every person who came on site, etc. I can't recommend them enough. They gave us an honest overview and recommendation of what to do regarding our new system. They were not pushy, not sales-persony, and treated us with respect. Our AC was completely out and they brought and installed portable ACs and had the unit replaced the NEXT DAY! Literally removed the old one, did the duct work, and had the new one installed in one day. I thought we were going to have to take our baby to a hotel, but we were quite comfortable for one night with the portable ACs while we waited. I'm very grateful for this company and fully recommend them.

Bryan has been our "Go To" guy for many years and when it was time for a new AC and then new furnace, he earned our loyalty! Jesus and Adan of Team Melton had a challenging project fitting the new elements into our home, but perserveered and did a great job, once again!

Anytime I hear a friend or co worker talking about heating and cooling issues with their home I recommend JC Melton. To me, it's absurd not to. They are so professional and so nice and thoughtful and they remember your name and issue, we've used them three times (maybe four) and each time they remember the who what and where of the issue. They also drive all the way up to Shaver Lake for us, a lot of companies will yes but they delay the fix because of the drive. Melton makes you the priority!

Our main heating unit gave out in November 2025. We decided to replace our other unit at the same time(they were both over 35 years). My husband was retiring in Jan 1...so made him very nervous to spend so much. We decided to go with Melton b/c they have been servicing our units for years, plus do my Mom's complicated heating system. Adon has been our rep. Very professional and safety minded.
They installed units in December 2025,,,all went smoothly and we had a warm and wonderful Christmas due to J.C. Melton Air!!!!
