Matt of Home Depot Master and his whole team were great in installing two double front custom doors for one of my properties, an Irvine house, and I would hire them again.

Matt was communicative and responsive to text when booking the project. On the morning of, he was able to go to Ganahl Lumber in Costa Mesa and pick up custom double doors made for us with a truck that he had available and his team.

There was a slight hiccup in the pick up, and Matt took care of it and got the doors without delay. He & his team were prompt and on time for an early Saturday morning start.

The job consisted of putting in double front doors, custom hardware onto the doors, a peephole installation, weatherstripping on the bottom. Matt is really good about making good on any slight adjustments that you may have as a client; we noticed that one door handle was slightly askew, and Matt was more than glad to adjust it for us, for which I was thankful.

When all was said and done, Matt and his partner were really polite and also cleaned up well and hauled away remnants for us. His estimate that this job would take a whole day, from 9 AM to about 4 PM, was spot on, which I also really appreciated. Payment was quick and easy through Zelle.

I look forward to working with him regularly as a contractor in Irvine for my property management needs. I read his other reviews and it seems like he has a lot of experience with all aspects of home building.

I highly recommend Elegant Construction for all home improvement or maintenance services. Their qualified technicians resolved our electrical issue in less than an hour and the cost was very reasonable.

As of 2:58 pm (Feb 28th, 2025) at the I-5 South entrance on Washington Blvd, the truck driver (Plate #40361X1) decided it's a great idea to cut off multiple people in the company vehicle. Very unsafe driver. Hope their electrical work is better than their driving skills. Really makes me wonder if this how crazy they drive on freeways with slowed traffic, how aggressive are they driving through neighborhoods with kids around them?

LRB Electric Refuses to Deliver $44,849.25 in Paid-For Electrical Materials or Issue a Refund

LRB Electric, Inc. was paid a substantial amount of $44,849.25 in August 2025 for electrical products and materials for new construction Project (Invoice No. 2025000341). This payment covered essential items detailed in the scope of work, including a 600A Disconnect Switch, multiple breakers, 249 units of 4" LED Light Fixtures, 415 FT of LED Strip Lights, and 191 Convenience Outlets.12

Despite receiving full payment for these materials, the company has failed to deliver or account for the items. When contacted, Charlie Burnette of LRB Electric asserted that the company's contractual relationship was "solely with Way of Life (WOL) Construction," not with the homeowner directly, and that they have "no obligation" to provide the materials or account for the funds. They stated that "Any materials purchased for this project were left on your jobsite. Nothing was withheld," a claim that is false as the paid-for materials have not been delivered.

LRB Electric is retaining $44,849.25 designated for products they did not deliver, resulting in unjust enrichment. I have sent a formal legal demand letter and am pursuing legal action to compel them to either deliver the outstanding materials or issue a full refund.12

Do not trust this company with your project funds. They will take payment for materials and refuse to account for them or issue a refund, hiding behind claims of contractual status while keeping the money. The matter is currently unresolved and moving to litigation.

After an awful experience with insurance, this company stepped in and John went above and beyond to get the house back to living conditions! Their work is beautiful.

We had a water leak and had to replace all of our flooring and kitchen. John, Tony and the rest of the crew at DKI did a great job. I would definitely hire them again.

Do not trust this company. Luis Espinoza will lie straight to your face. My wife and I made the mistake of trusting them because they were a referral from Crawford Contractor's Connection through our AAA Service. We hired them to install our quartz counter tops. After many weeks of shopping around we found Genuine Quartz in Pomona (deals in Quartz only) and met with Giovanna Estrada who helped us pick out the perfect material for our kitchen. We gave Luis her contact info along with the name and specific code of the material we picked. Luis even took pictures of the samples and Giovanna's business card with his phone. I also emailed all this info to him with a picture of the slab we took when we were at the warehouse. He told us his company would contact Giovanna and make the arrangements to get the material. The day of installation came and the crew arrived about four hours later than scheduled. I was frustrated and wasn't paying close enough attention but when my wife arrived home from work, she knew it was the wrong material immediately. By that time the crew was almost done with the installation. When I called Giovanna at Genuine Quartz to see if somehow they picked up the incorrect material she informed me that neither Luis nor anyone at Restotech had ever made any contact with her or her company whatsoever. When I confronted Luis with this info he admitted that he just bought a "look alike" material from some distributor in Anaheim based on the photo of the slab I sent. Since it was already installed he told me that taking it back out and getting us what we asked for was not an option. I don't want to hire an attorney or start arbitration so now we are stuck with a substandard counter top that we didn't pick. We are very disappointed with this company and will never use them again.
