Kemnitz upgraded my AC & Heating unit in 2019 and has been providing annual service ever since. Jason just performed it, for a very reasonable fee (less than $200). Very knowledgeable and friendly. Left behind a detailed invoice explaining what exactly was checked. Does not try to upsale on repairs that are not considered necessary. I am soooo very glad to have established my relationship with Kemnitz! PS: their dispatcher Kalie (may be misspelled) is also wonderful to deal with on scheduling the service.

Not a good experience, needs better technicians.

I really had a bad experience with Kemniz Air. I wish they would have been upfront and honest in their claim to time with me. I was told that I was going to have a 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. appointment, so I took the afternoon off to make sure I could see the technician.

I get a call at 3:25 p.m. telling me that the technician was coming in from Orange and that Paul would be a few minutes late. I explained that I needed to pick up my 5 and 2 year old and that if he was here before I got back, just to wait for me.

It is not 4:40 and no technician. I called to see how much longer, the receptionist could not reach Paul. So I cancelled my appointment and will be looking for some other company to take care of my air conditioning needs.

I understand that things come up, but I expect that when I am told something that it would happen. I felt that I was being understandable when I said that I would be willing to still see them after 4 p.m.

Horrible customer service

Kemnitz Air is a company that can handle emergency work or scheduled maintenance. With a well-qualified staff they are affordable, timely, and equipped to get your job done. I recommend this business

For years our ac froze you in the office and no ac in the master bedroom. Other company quoted $1500 plus to fix it. Larry from Kenmitz called 30 minutes before arriving and arrived on time. Very professional young man!! He diagnosed the problem , installed several dampers and balanced the entire airflow throughout the house. The ac no longer sounds like a hurricane in the attic and I can sleep in a cool master bedroom. Well done Larry and Kenmitz. Cost was much lower than competitors quote.

We just had a complete changeover of Air Conditioner and Heater in out home by Kemnitz. Both Rob and Rob were superior in their efforts to make this happen in one day and with NO Suprises. They worked tirelessly in our stifling attic on a very hot day to get the job done. We went to bed that night very cool and very happy with their fine job.

Brandon Serviced my aunts house in Irvine, he was professional honest and recommended a few things to keep her system running at its best and air clean. He also let me know a few other tips to keep things a flow. Thank you for the professionalism !

Larry came, figured out our problem in 2 minutes. They were prompt, courteous, professional and honest. I cannot stress enough, they are the people to use. They are trustworthy and the whole staff is caring. Kylie made my appointment and was attentive, helpful and polite.

My heater was not working and I called Kemnitz & made an appt and Larry arrived on time, was courteous & polite and put booties on each time he came into my home. He was here for a little over an hour and evaluated & changed the part that was broken and replaced the filter (which hadn't been changed for years) and I will recommend him & the company to everyone I know. Thanks again Larry!

Per Kemnitz recommendation I spent over 14k for a new AC and Heater December 2023 and to date, both units have been broken.

Multiple tech visits over the last month to no avail and my family continues to be without proper heat during the winter season.

Do not do business with Kemnitz.

It has been a horrible experience.

5 stars! Brandon came to my aunts house in Lake forest. She needed a maintenance but after looking through the system Brandon noticed some things that should be done and explained them very well. Including fixing the copper line covers and adding a unit to help the system perform better! Great job and the system looks brand new. Thanks again!

Kemnitz HVAC is a great company to have for our home heating & cooling needs. We just purchased & installed a great Carrier, "Infinity" unit with air purifier. Kemnitz HVAC provided great service complimenting the Carrier product. Sales determined needs for the best system and had a fantastic idea for improvement clean air in our home ; the office team's scheduling coordination & communications were outstanding and the install team was very efficient. The team were all clean, considerate, polite, pleasant individuals. who worked hard. The install team's attention to detail left the area much improved from the previous units installers basics. Kemnitz's team took away all the old equipment, new unit packaging and left the work areas clean & tidy. I'm committed to Kemnitz for all my HVAC needs, especially now the seasonal system check ups and preventative maintenance. We have had our air conditioning unit for many years. The unit itself has had ongoing issues year after year, customer service, especially a woman named Kylie refused to do anything to help. In fact, she suggested going online and doing it ourselves, suggesting the customer would have a better chance at getting things done than the company. Overall, they are unprofessional and sell shoddy products. I would never recommend.

Working with Ray and his crew was a smooth process. They were able to accommodate a tight schedule and the install was seamless. Really good overall experience.

Called with a minor AC issue. Christopher came the next day (on time). Completed AC adjustment. Then double checked the lines and the furnace set up. Very Happy with service.

Beware Beware Beware this is a rip off off company.
The technician tried to rep me off. he wanted to charge $ 600 for an a/c system recharge with 4 pound of Freon. He quoted me a price of $ 125 per pound of Freon, he said they have a minimum Freon amount weather you needed or not, i was never told about these charges when i made the appointment with them.
I called other companies in orange county, CA area the price range i got was between $ 75 to $ 90 per pound of Freon, and they will charge you for how much you need only.
do not use this company they are going to rip you off, home advisers should not recommend this company to others, this is very shady/rip off company.
