Look no further these guys are amazing. From Sara the office manager to Colt with the design and plans to Mike and his team of installers. These guys are super responsive and do an incredible job. The install was only half a day including painting the conduit to match the stucco and roof. I think they really take pride in what they do and want to have happy customers. If you have a question or a concern it quickly gets addressed to your satisfaction. Their customer service is excellent. The day after the install, Blalock had the inspection programmed and Richard from Blalock was here to assist the inspector with any questions. After an hour or so, the inspector signed off on the install and we had an operating system within a week. I am very happy I selected Blalock for this project because it felt more like a partnership, they want me to be happy, rather than a pure commercial transaction. Thank you Blalock Team!

Blalock was amazing to work with getting our solar installed. Their whole team during the process was exceptional! Installers/technicians and office staff Sara and Kaitlin were all so great to work with. All were on time and communicated promptly with us as needed. Super satisfied with the whole experience!

Amazing company from initial conversation in sales to two years later with customer service . Our solar has been running perfectly and efficiently and exactly as expected. We updated our internet and we could not get our internet to connect to monitor our solar and they came out same day to connect and make sure everything is working properly - same day !!! Absolutely amazed and definitely recommend Blalock Solar.

Blalock Electric & Solar did an excellent job installing the solar system on my home. In fact, the city inspector also remarked that my installer did a great job installing the system. My solar project included 28 LG solar panels, Enphase micro inverters, a new electrical service panel, EV 240v power outlet installed in the garage as well as a roof comp-out. All the Blalock crews who worked on this system install did high quality work taking care and pride in their work to assure customer satisfaction. The on-site crews and office staff were friendly and communicated with us to let us know what and when to expect work to be done. A special shout-out to Leonard and Juan on their roofing work, Mike’s team on the solar panel install, Victor on the electrical service panel and Sara for her friendly and responsive project administration support. I highly recommend Blalock for your solar project needs!

BUYER BEWARE! If I could give less than one star, I would. Blalock Electric & Solar did the Solar install on my house in Escondido in Fall of 2019 and botched the job on every level. First and foremost, they broke many Dozens of my clay roofing tiles, which they subsequently tried to (incompetently) repair with cauling (see pics)!

Blalock caused numerous Leaks in my roof so that during the Thanksgiving and Christmas rains, I had numerous pots/pans in my home to catch the deluge, which also soaked and seriously damaged my piano. I had to call them out Four times over four weeks, and each time they failed to fully correct the problem they caused.

They also improperly installed and modified part of their electric install, which I had to hire an independent Master Electrician to identify the electrical problem. They also caused a Serious leak on the flat roof over my office, which now has several very large brown water stains in my ceiling. See picture w/large brown water stain on my ceiling.

I tried numerous times to make contact with Mr. Nick Blalock, the owner, to resolve these and other issues, and he never once responded to me. They have made no attempt to compensate me for my seriously damaged piano, nor to paint the different ceilings stained by the leaks they caused, etc.

I have worked directly with many professional Contractors over the years, and Blalock Electric & Solar and it's owner, Nick, are the single most imcompetent, unprofessional, unethical and disrespectful contractors I've ever encountered.

In short, they've been a nightmare to work with! Because of their gross negligence, incompetence, and lack of responsibility and accountability, I am now in contact with upper management at Sunnova (who hired them) and other legal avenues to bring Blalock to accountability.

BTW, the canned 'Response' from the owner is false and misleading and they're simply trying to do unethical Damage Control.

Great experience and service from Blalock Electric & Solar! They took care of everything - planning, getting permits from the city, installing, passing the inspection and activating our solar system. We wanted some custom work and conduit run on our system, they were flexible and accommodated our request. Overall received great service from their back office and the installers did a fantastic job, we definitely recommend! Will gladly do business again.

The team at Blalock was excellent. In addition to completing the project without issue and on time, they were excellent communicators—the staff there kept me updated every step of the way and did a fantastic job on the project. Highly recommend Blalock!

What a nice experience! Blalock installed LG/Enphase system on the roof of my home and the solar system operates very well. The whole process was extremely smooth and the team is exceptional. Everything was well planned and professional. Their scheduling for installation, city inspection and application for permission from SDGE to operate our solar system are well coordinated. Sara (our contact) at Blalock is very friendly, helpful and responsive, she even communicated with us and worked on our paperwork during weekend. The installation team are fantastic and did high quality work. I strongly recommend Blalock to my friends and neighbors.

We had used Blalock for our commercial property in Paramount a few years ago and they were great to work with initially. With the most recent rains over the past few years, we had some trouble with their work. Received zero support and no replies when. Expect quality service until payment is provided, mediocre to nonexistent shortly after.

Professional experience and workmanship! We couldn't have ask for anything better. Raymond was a superstar!

Ray has done a few jobs for us... Hung some TVs, installed a video doorbell, and installed a Tesla wall charger. He is prompt, efficient, and professional.

Very happy with the work Ray did for us, the job was fairly easy and was done in about 30 minutes, great job, thank you for helping us to make our home feel more secure.

Incredible service. Had an existing camera security system that needed installed. Neighbor had same scenario, went over to ask if he would install mine. Searched and got quotes from 3 other businesses. Had the best price of all 4. Came within a week, was prompt, professional, clean (until he got in my attic-ha) and down to earth, straight-forward. Was finished in the time he said AND cleaned up all areas even after we said we would take care of it. Exceptional service, even stayed afterwards to ensure my system was downloaded (apps) and showed up on my devices/showed steps to get there. Gave great advice of installation locations of the cameras (e.g. why here instead of there...) and not pushy for more work. I didn't know until shooting the bull, he does all electric work as well in a residence or business.

We are most dissatisfied with the way we were handled in our installation.
Recently we had another " sound specialist " check out our " surround sound". and found out it wasn't even close to being connected properly.
We were promised to receive a remote for the system, but never received it.

The workmanship was terrible. Even on a simple wiring was not connected properly.
This was proven by the latest " real expert ".
The person responsible was Raymond.
Main point we learned. NEVER pay fully until it is properly checked out.
Getting this corrected cost me over $ 280

Professional, Knowledgeable, Reliable, and Very Reasonably Priced

I was referred to Ray for installation of a 240 line for a Tesla charger. He gave two prices - a very reasonable flat fee rate if the new breaker fit in the existing breaker box and a $1,000 more if it didn't .

The slots in my breaker were all filled so I was prepared to pay the extra $1,000. Once Ray arrived he asked for specifics on where I wanted my new outlet. Some options would require much more time but - his approach was that he'd do the job however I wanted it done and regardless it was covered by the flat fee.

Also, he shifted things around in my breaker box saving me the $1,000 extra that I was prepared to pay. The job couldn't be done without removing a thin piece of sheet rock which he replaced in a way appropriate for a garage, fixed damage done by a less competent worker (me), and then checked another outlet that was of concern.

I could not be happier.

Ray hooked up our surround sound a few years back, and since he did such a nice job last time I knew who to contact for a new project. Ray hooked up a new tv, and wall mount unit, and wow it looks magnificent. The tv has a real floating experience, no wires or anything, truly amazing. Ray worked around a few problems to make sure none of the wires were visible, and even had to move the electrical outlet. Very impressed overall, on time, easy to communicate with, good pricing, and nice guy that does great work. Would recommend anytime, thanks Ray

Ray and his crew are extremely professional,and have done great work for myself and family. They are the "jack of all trades" Not only did they mount all of my TV's and run the cable wires and box so they were not visible, but they installed a high tech camera system which was linked into my TV. I will always use Ray and his company for anything that involves audio or video. I 100 percent recommend Ray to anyone who wants there equipment installed right.

My father's bedroom didn't work last night. He came out the next day. He found the problem fixed it to an awesome job, very caring, very nice. Do the great job in recommended future work. That I appreciate everything's done as promised. And the same price he needed gave me an extra outlet. I would refer this guy to anybody I know thank you so much.

Raymond was incredibly friendly, knowledgable, and did a great job on mounting and wiring our TV. He went above and beyond multiple times for my girlfriend and I. After he installed our TV we didn’t have any batteries for our remote, so Raymond went out to his truck and got me batteries. It’s a small thing... but shows that he really takes pride in his work and treats his customers right. I would highly recommend his service to my friends and family and will be using him again in the future. Thanks Raymond!
