Airteks has been a quality, trusted and valuable vendor for me for many years. One instance is a PG&E power surge we had at a Middle School that took down most of our AC units. Airteks and Jerry reacted quickly and got many units up an running with minimal downtime. They are experienced with all aspects of HVAC.

I updated my HVAC with Pelican wireless. I was concerned about the distance from their shop but, I chose Airteks due to their reputation. The guys showed up on schedule. They clearly knew what they were doing, and courteous almost to a fault. Always available if I have questions or issues. If they can't walk me through it on the phone, they will send a tech. Two experiences with Awesome. The first was about a year and a half ago. My mother's heating unit quit working the day before Thanksgiving. Some "warranty" company, "Service something" said they needed to order parts. Thursday was Thanksgiving, no action on Friday, then the weekend. On Monday they delayed again so we asked which part was ordered. Found out the local appliance parts distributor had a million of them. The owner asked why and we told him. He got an obvious pained expression on his face and slid an Awesome card across the counter. Less than 2 hours later, Pete from Awesome showed up and fixed the problem. Said he'd stopped by the supply depot that morning and picked up 3 more because it's almost always that part. My mother spent almost 6 days without heat, fixed in a few hours by Awesome. Kudos Awesome. Today, Anthony from Awesome stopped by our house and checked out the air-conditioning unit (no problems, minor tune up). He also installed a Nest Thermostat with trim kit. Awesome was awesome again.

Terrible experience, avoid if possible. Requested a furnace maintenance + coil cleanup quoted at $195. Technician arrived WITHOUT work order and assumed furnace didn’t work. Broke down the control board and installed a new board without requesting approval, then intended to charge over $1,000. As I didn’t accept, removed the parts and left furnace non functional.

I had a great experience with Awesome Heating and Air. Todd gave me a fair estimate and caught some installation challenges on my install that made it cost prohibitive to go with a more expensive model.

We can always count on Todd and his team to determine the cause of our heating and A/C problems and offer a solution or two at a fair price. They have also always come out in a timely matter and understand the inconvenience caused when your house is either too hot or cold.
