AIS replaced our gas furnace with a heat pump. The job was fairly complicated because they needed to run a new line to the attic. Overall I'm very happy with the job. The team was very professional and the new system works great.

Fantastic experience working with AIS! Olim was excellent as the on-site technician...knowledgable & skilled and so good at explaining to me the nuances of my non-functioning heat pump/mini split. He diagnosed the problem correctly -- after a separate HVAC vendor failed miserably -- and he & his supervisor resolved it quickly & efficiently. Daniel was also great to work with...I had cumbersome insurance requirements and he was very thorough and accommodating explaining the technical requirements of the fix and providing detailed estimates for insurance claims. Highly recommend this team!

When my old wall heater died, I discovered that not all heating companies will even replace a wall heater -- they want to install central heating, which is expensive when the ducts needed have to be installed as well. AIS came to the rescue - and did an excellent job installing the new heater. I especially appreciate the availability of maintenance agreements, so you pay in advance, and they notify you when it's time to check the heater, and set up appointments. (Otherwise, I might forget). So when I decided I wanted to get a mini-split air conditioner, I was delighted to find this company that I trust installs them as well. The installation crew did a great job, as I had expected. They answered all my questions, and even gave me a discount because I'd had my wall heater installed by them. I'm very happy with my new unit, and would recommend AIS to anyone seeking heat or air service.

Pete Bell was amazing. He wore shoe covers and was very clean. He answered all of our questions. He is the best at this! Very nice and knowledgeable!

1 Year after the install - Update

AIS recently conducted their 1 year checkup on the HVAC system they installed. Leon Riviera was our technician for this. Key observations include:

* The technician arrived on time.

* I appreciated that AIS sent a text message ahead of time to alert me the technician would be arriving soon.

* Leon was very courteous and professional. He asked permission for using various doors & routes within the house to access the various HVAC components. He always were shoe covers when indoors.

* He was thorough in checking the various components. He also made sure that all the various screws for key electrical connections were properly tight.

* At the end of the inspection, he sent photos of all the key components that he examined.

The excellent work by AIS continues. I continue to highly recommend them.

1 Month after install - Update:

The city inspector came to the house recently to do the final permit sign-off on the heat pump install. The inspector went out of her way to be complimentary about the installation. She mentioned that most contractors will miss a detail here or there, but she said my install was outstanding. Nice to hear that from an independent party like a city inspector. I am even more impressed with AIS now.

We recently had AIS replace our 20-year-old furnace/AC system with a new Bryant Heat Pump.

We were quite pleased with their outstanding customer service, especially by their salesman/advisor Art Miner. Working with Art was distinctively superior to the experiences we had with the other HVAC companies we got bids from.

Art displayed exceptional professionalism and a genuine commitment to understanding our needs. Unlike representatives from other companies who basically presented their catalogs, Art truly acted as an advisor. He took the time to listen to our concerns and walked us through various options, demonstrating an in-depth understanding of both the products and our unique requirements.

Moreover, Art recognized the presence of our solar panels and provided tailored advice on how to optimize our HVAC system to minimize the monthly costs from PG&E. His ability to integrate this aspect into our discussion was highly beneficial.

We were also particularly appreciative of his prompt and thorough responses to our subsequent emails, which addressed various questions we had. This level of diligence and ongoing support is rare and valued.

it is without hesitation that we will recommend AIS company to others. The installers were great, and the new system is working perfectly.

Kevin did the PM for our A/C unit, work was quick and he was very friendly and informative. He answered all my questions and gave recommendations to help us extend the life of our unit. Thank you!

I chose AIS after getting a few quotes from AC companies in the area. I appreciated how professional they were and didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. The installation went great, and the work looked very professional. They listened to my feedback to make sure the system works exactly how I liked (e.g. only kicks into high speed when significant temperature change is needed) and they came back right away when the city inspector noted a small problem. This was a year ago. The system worked brilliantly over the last 12 months and they recently came back for an annual inspection and filter change. When I discovered a leak in the attic - they came back within days and addressed it right then and there without disputing or charging exorbitant fees. So they get an A+ for workmanship, service, and follow-through. I'll continue working with AIS (and specifically Leon Rivera) on any AC/heating related needs in the future.

My neighbor recommended AIS after her furnace installation, and I am very happy with my recent furnace installation experience. Initial assessment/visit was thorough (shout out to Mauricio) and provided me with the right information I needed to make my install decision. Install visit was professional, curteous, and was much more efficient/timely than I thought it would be given the age of the unit. They replaced a 20+ year Lennox with a Bryant Legacy Single Stage Furnace which was perfect for my household's needs. They helped reconfigure the foundation for the new unit, optimized the thermostat location, and I love the more user-friendly access filter compartment (Thank you Wilson & Juan!). Post Inspection visit was also very wonderful with a friendly, curteous, and informative inspector who ensured the unit was at it's best with some follow up enhancements. Overall I had a really great experience for the value and will definitely recommend AIS to my family/friends.

AIS replaced our 27 yo furnace today, and the install team did a great job. They were on time, communicated well, were incredibly clean and respectful of our home and a delight to work with. Our new furnace is working great and we’re very pleased and highly recommend working with AIS.

AIS continues to impress me with their fine work, attention to detail, promptness, and friendliness. I had my furnace replaced with an AC upgrade a few years ago and was blown away with their professional work ethics from beginning to end, so I inquired about water heater replacements. I just had my water heater replaced today by AIS, and the project was done quickly and efficiently. The work included an energy efficient heater, closet insulation, and new plumbing. All this and a very competitive price. I will continue to go to AIS for all my needs, as well as recommending them to family and friends!

Really good company. The owner is very accommodating and understanding are good at what they do. Certainly not the cheapest but when you want the best work done that's when you choose them.

Rafael was fabricator extraordinaire. They did a wall heater replacement. Problem in venting access came up and he meticulously solved and completed the install perfectly. In and out in 4.5 hours. Carted off all the debris, cleaned the room and like a Ninja, disappeared into the weekend. Good job fellows.

Our AC unit wasn't blowing as cold as it should. It was very old and we had AIS come out to check on it. The tech was on time and let us know that there was a leak and the coolant was gone. Due to the age (27 years) of the unit he suggested replacing it; we had decided that it was time for a new one before he gave that suggestion. After getting multiple estimates we went with AIS; their price was a slightly higher but their warranty was worth the extra money. The install team showed up on time. They put down tarps to keep the floors from getting damaged and cleaned up any mess before they left. The install was done right and we were shown how to use the new thermostat before they left. The process was smooth and I recommend them if you need a new AC/Heater.

The technicians were great! Rafael, Edgar and Bryant arrived early and jumped right into the job at hand. They were courteous, friendly, very professional and thorough. The job was completed within the time frame that was promised. We were very satisfied with our heating and cooling system and would recommend AIS to anyone looking to update/replace their system.
