This is the second complete system (including new vent pipes) I have purchased from AIS. They did such a good job at my dad's home 3 years ago, I decided to use them for my new Heat/AC Pump system. Raphael, Gustavo and Fabian were on time, worked hard and cleaned up very well. Michael came by 3 days later to check everything and answer my questions. There was a small problem, but it was handled quickly and easily by AIS, no questions or pushback. That is the sign of a well-run company. They have coordinated the testing so I can get a rebate from the state. I highly recommend the team at AIS.

Our AC wasn’t cooling our home so we called AIs Friday evening and they came first thing Saturday. Pete went above and beyond making sure he explained everything he was checking and ensured our AC got what needed to be done. Not once did he make us feel that he was trying to push any services. He was very honest and overall kind. I wouldn’t definitely recommend Pete and AIs 😊

Leon River was fantastic to work with. Showed me how my system needed to improve and what I needed to make sure it was working properly. Timely efficient and easy to work with!

Pete Bell from AIS scoped out an A/C leakage issue this past summer and found the problem (multiple poor welding spots along the coolant pipe - courtesy of a different installer). AIS quoted me and I had them return to fix the problem. Works great now!

Pete arrived on time, quickly diagnosed the problem with my gas wall heater, and quickly fixed it. He even wore shoe covers. Nice guy and pleasure to work with. Thank you and highly recommend!

AIS is fantastic. Prompt, professional, and courteous. Pete was AMAZING. He was thorough and patient and took the time to explain how our system works. We thought it was time for replacement but Pete made the repairs and got us on a maintenance plan to try and keep it running another year or two. The repair was less than $300 and another company had told us that our system was unsafe and not repairable! Thanks Pete and thanks AIS, WE LOVE YOU!

So far, so good. Leon was our service worker -- he did a very thorough job and explained his review in detail, plus he gave us some options about possible upgrades.

Just got a heat pump installed by AIS. The install team of Rafa, Fausto, and Edgar were absolutely perfect. They far exceeded our expectations and we would recommend them and the whole AIS team to anyone in the market for an HVAC project.

Our tech was Leon Rivera, who was excellent . He called ahead of time and showed up early. He was very friendly, thorough and efficient. I would highly recommend both he and the others at sis without reservation. They have always been terrific

Review for AIS Heating & Air – Senior Service Technician: Taylor Yenny

We had been dealing with a frustrating furnace problem for nearly two weeks. Several companies came out, guessed at the issue, cleaned parts, or blamed components they could not replace for weeks. Meanwhile, our furnace kept shutting down and blowing cold air during the coldest part of the season.

Then Taylor from AIS arrived, and he was on a different level.

Within minutes, he found what everyone else had missed. A small Molex connector on the control board was so loose it could lose contact with the slightest vibration. This explained every intermittent failure we were experiencing.

He also showed me the browned, heat-stressed spots on the control board, clear evidence of shorting and voltage instability caused by that faulty connection. His explanation was clear, thorough, and grounded in real diagnostics, not guesswork.

The next part is what truly stood out. Taylor installed the replacement control board the next day and ensured the furnace was operating properly. He stayed at it even though the software for the new universal controller board was not perfect right out of the box. He took extra care to fine-tune the connections and confirm the system was stable before he left.

Beyond the technical work, his personal thoughtfulness made a real difference. Taylor followed up after the weekend to make sure everything was still running smoothly and that we were comfortable. That kind of follow-through is rare.

We are grateful for his expertise, his professionalism, and his hands-on approach.

Pete was great to work with! He was prompt, professional, and was able to effectively fix an old furnace system that by all accounts should have needed a replacement. Would recommend Pete and AIS and would personally use them again in the future.

AIS is easy to recommend. They are very professional from sales to support to installation. They communicated their project plans daily via text and email and followed through with the plans. Installation crew was respectful of our home and cleaned up at the end of each day. We are happy we chose AIS for our project.

We had our very old furnace and AC unit replaced this week with a 2 stage heat pump and mini split heat pump. Just in time for the next heat wave. AIS Heating and Air Conditioning (Livermore) did the work. In a word, they were outstanding. Sales consultant Art was thorough, knowledgeable and worked with me to come up with the best system design for our needs. Installation crew Alex, Abel and Fausto were on time, meticulous and very capable. I don’t usually bother to make these kinds of recommendations but these guys deserve it for the pain free experience we had.

We depend on AIS for everything to do with our heating and AC system. They have done several projects for us including installing ducting for a room conversion and replacing our AC compressor. We have them back twice a year for for regular maintenance, most recently with Pete, who did a great job, and was friendly and respectful of our home.

The technician was very professional: on time, texted ahead of time to say he was on his way, he did all the checks and even cleaned up some par of the ceiling while it was not included in the job. The price was specified before the work so no surprise! I've now subscribed for a regular maintenance. Very happy about that!

From Zack, giving us an inspection, to Art, going over replacement options, to Raphael and Edgar installing the new heater, the process was seamless and highly professional. A first rate operation up and down the line. I highly recommend AIS for your heating and air conditioning needs. I’ll be signing up for annual inspection and maintenance. Do yourself a favor and get it done right the first time with AIS.

I’ve been using AIS for my HVAC maintenance for years now and I can’t recommend them enough.
Recently, Kevin came out to do the annual maintenance on my furnace. He found a couple issues, corrected them and took the time to explain what he did in a way I could understand. I appreciate how thorough and detailed he is in his work.

Bi-annual visit to check HVAC system and replace filter. Communication is super important to me and AIS is all over it with the text messaging to remind you and confirm your service and also when your tech is on their way. 5 stars!
