I have to thank Rich Thompson. He put my furnace in properly. The heating system and the air conditioning system is running perfectly. The guys that did it a long time ago screwed it up really bad and Rich took the time and put it in the proper way. I have to thank that guy 100,000 times

Ty showed up on time, and explained what he was doing as he went along. The diagnosis was difficult, but he was tenacious and tracking it down. Solved our problem and fixed it. Great job.

We just had the pleasure of having a new HVAC system installed by Arturo and Mark with Thompson’s. I could not be happier with the entire process from quote to finish. The results looked better than I expected which is always great! The team was very considerate, respectful and made sure to keep it a very clean job. I can’t wait to finally be comfortable this summer. Our home never had an A/C unit. I got multiple quotes and Thompson’s design made the most sense and the pricing was fair. I highly recommend this company and crew.

He spent some time working through the issue and figured out what was needed...and then fixed it all. Every time we have these guys out, I am reminded how happy I am that my wife talked me into the membership!

My heating was acting up and they came within the hour, did some cleaning and evaluation and it has worked fine since 🤞🏼 I signed up for their annual service instead of paying only for the one service call, and I’ll see how that works out over the year.

Ramon arrived right on time and was very professional. He knew exactly what needed to be done and explained it so I would understand why the old plumbing pipes were near the end of their life. We had a great experience with Thompson Plumbing. Jose and Ignacio installed a tankless water heater, a whole house filter and replaced a whole bunch of old copper pipe. Additionally, we had Jose come back and re-pipe a laundry closet. All the work that was done not only functioned correctly but it looks like a work of art. All around professionalism from booking the appointment to paying for the work. We now have a go to plumber here in Oceanside!

My AC wasn't working properly. I called on Thursday afternoon, and by Friday afternoon, my AC was fixed and back up running. Ricky Rodriguez did a great job and left my office spotless. Thank you for the excellent service.

We did extensive research and got multiple quotes for a new HVAC system from a number of highly rated local companies. Initially planned to install a Trane system, but after comparing the specs of the various options we ended up going with a Lennox heat-pump and furnace combo. Jacob was fantastic to work with, as he was not pushy like the Anderson guy who used scare tactics, tried to upsell unnecessary add-ons, and even asked what our budget was. Jacob was very responsive and worked incredibly hard to accommodate our requests. We faced some challenges finding the ideal place for the condenser and a good spot for a new thermostat, but the install guys (Cesar, Angel, and Chris) worked diligently, found creative solutions, and were also extremely accommodating. I am extremely pleased with the product we purchased and with the quality of work that was done by Thompson. If you're in the market for a new HVAC system, don't waste your time with another company, call Thompson and ask for Jacob!

We are new to Escondido. We got a couple of quotes for a new HVAC system and selected Thompson due to the congeniality and knowledge of their rep Jacob. The installation was fast, just a day or two after the agreement was signed. The installation team was friendly, informative and skilled. Downstairs Chris did the condenser, and upstairs Angel and Cesar did the furnace and chiller in the attic. The following day a new team returned to finish the job. Ricky and Ty discovered a few glitches with the electronics and returned a day or two later with new control boards to remedy the issues. They also discovered a leak in the vent seal and scheduled a roofer to take care of that. All in all this was a positive experience.

We called you for a water heater leaking from the cold water inlet connection to the water heater. Your firm was very responsive from when we called to completion of the job. Your reception and dispatch was courteous and efficient. Our tech (plumber) Ramon Escalante was professional, informative, patient, polite and proficient. He does great work and represents Thompson very well. Ramon had us up in running in short order using due dilingence.

The city notified us we had a major leak at our home, we had shut off all water and needed help. Thompson answered the call, sent Jose with Ramon and a crew to replace our 38yr old pipe and valve, saving the day. Trenching, repiping, and cleanup was done in less than 5 hours and we had running water again and our front yard back to normal.
