Had a leak from the furnace/blower so looked on google to find a reputable heating and a/c service firm. Found JJ. Very professional initial interaction, set an appointment (3 days out, but could have been quicker, if I wanted a slightly higher visit charge).

Constant communication/confirmation of appt and tech arrival time. Diego was outstanding, providing diagnostics and recommendations. Turns out most likely a dirty filter causing excessive condensation.

Diego took the time to talk through potential causes, how the A/C (and water heater) worked, and thoughts (when asked) about remaining system life and replacement alternatives.

Really appreciate the low-pressure sales “push”. Diego was most interested in dealing with the issue.

Would easily recommend Diego/JJ.

JJ Heating were excellent. Everyone from the people who first talked to me on the phone, to the person who designed the system, to our installers were absolutely great. They got the job done perfectly and on time and helped us finance the installation. I have nothing but good things to say! Great company!

Andrew did a spectacular job for us. He was the most thorough of the estimators that bid the project. Andrew was the only person to go in the attic and he found other issues with our ductwork and made it so our master bedroom now gets proper air!

Giving them credit for being willing to look at our AC even though it was new (another company wouldn't even come), and for prompt and polite service. But. We talked about putting in another charge of Freon, which we both knew would only last a year because of a leak, and it didn't occur to me to ask the cost. That was stupid of me, but considering that it cost $200/lb, running $600 total, I think they should have told me that before proceeding. That's a lot of money, and you might expect it would influence my decision; I would probably have bitten the bullet and sweated for a couple of months while figuring out how to repair or replace the unit if I'd known.

Life happens- air conditioner went out on July 3rd during the biggest west coast heatwave in decades. Called many HVAC companies to get repaired but only JJ Heating took the call and put me on the calendar. Tech came out to evaluate situation and ordered the part.
Repair went well and happy air conditioner is up and running.
Reason for 4 stars and not 5 is communication could have been better between when part was ordered and booking follow up apt to install part.

Dominic is punctual, efficient, and professional. Great technician to work with. JJ Heating and Air Conditioning Co is a good company. Definitely a repeated customer and will refer JJ to friends and family.

Andrew came out to visit us today, evaluate our existing system and provide us options for installing a new heat pump. Extremely knowledgeable and helpful in explaining options. You cant go wrong asking JJ to come out especially if you're looking for a carrier or Lennox system. Good pricing and great product lines.

JJ heating and cooling company has been servicing my air-conditioning for years now. Dominic was my technician this year and he was courteous, informative, and knowledgeable. There was no pressure to buy anything for the air conditioning unit that is not needed. My air conditioning unit is old so I will need a new one soon and I will definitely go with.

We did an assessment and estimate of replacing our aging HVAC system with a heat pump.

Andrew H. from JJ did a superb job performing the assessment: a very detailed measuring and assessment process to calculate the heat pump capacity that will be needed, and answering all our questions and concerns. We were very happy with how Andrew handled the trip.

I used JJ Heating and Air Conditioning in January 27th when my heating went out. The technician was prompt, polite and fixed the issue quickly. I am VERY happy with Sabino Velazquez's service and will use this company for all my heating and AC needs in the future!

Alan came on time and within minutes we knew that he was very knowledgeable about the job we needed done. He gave us a very fair bid and told us exactly what he was going to do. I would highly recommend JJ Heating and air. While here he also told us about the service plan that can be purchased through the company but never pushed us just gave us the facts. I am very impressed!!

We have a long history with JJ heating. Unfortunately, not all great. Originally (3 years ago) they recommended the wrong systems for our home, the systems did not work. On hot days they would not cool enough on cold days they would not warm up enough. JJ heating spent a year plus troubleshooting, finger pointing, recommending work that should have been part of their original due diligence, and never taking ownership for anything. We were on the verge of ripping everything off. When we reached out to get that process going we learned that the person we were working with was no longer with the company - that was a relief, but we were still pretty fed up. We had one meeting with Alan, we forwarded all the exchanges we had had with the previous co-owner, Alan showed up prepared, familiar with all the history, he was extremely transparent, called out all the mistakes and recommendations that should have never been made. He took full ownership, proposed a solution, and executed. We went from wanting nothing to do with them to calling for some additional work just a few weeks ago. I am still sore from the previous experience, but Alan is fantastic, great job Steve owning the mistakes from your previous partner.

I had consulted with 2 other vendors before speaking with Alan and JJ Heating & AC, and they had me convinced I should seal up the ducts in my house and install a heat pump with mini splits in 4 rooms. Alan looked at my house with its vaulted ceilings and thought my existing duct work could be modified slightly and effectively heat/cool my house without mini splits. And at 1/2 the cost I was being quoted. I was skeptical but after the installation we had 7 days of 100+ heat and the system performed well. I used as much electricity as before but the system effectively cooled the house. I'm very pleased I contacted JJ Heating and Alan suggested the ducted hybrid heat pump solution that he did. I'd encourage anyone looking to replace their old furnace and AC with a heat pump to call JJ Heating to get their professional advice before committing to a solution.

I had Andrew come out to our place for a new AC installation quote. He was very knowledgeable and was able to provide me with good options as per our needs. He also was not trying up sell the heat pump system since apparently its going be a mandate in CA in few years. We are still deciding if we want to install the system but overall had a great experience with Andrew.

Our AC unit went out right before the summer started. We had 3 quotes out of our range for "base models". We were going to give up, but had a standing appointment with JJ. We decided to just keep it, and we are glad that we did! Andrew was friendly, very informative, and extremely thorough. We were quoted thousands cheaper than the other companies, and it was for a better AC unit than what the other companies even offered. The 2 man crew came a few days later and were quick and efficient. We now live comfortably in our home one again. I will recommend to anyone who asks.

I met with three different people from three different companies to get estimates for a heating/air conditioning unit in my home. Andrew Hernandez from JJ Heating and Air Conditioning was by far the best person l spoke with. He had a lot more knowledge and offered more options then either of the people from the other companies. He even had photos in his phone of how each option would look.
He was pleasant to work with .

However, when Sabino came to install the unit I chose, there was a problem with the place it was supposed to go. He showed me how complicated the spot chosen would be for installation. So though they worked it out, I was frustrated that this is not coordinated with the company earlier. I would think that a team with a salesperson and an installer should talk to the perspective buyer so this doesn't happen.

Also, though the installers were mostly careful, they did scratch my hardwood floor moving a piece of furniture and also stepped on one of my plants in back and almost killed it. Also left a large garbage can on wheels in my front yard. I called right away to let the company know and thought someone would come right back and pick it up. It took 24 hours before they came back. None of these last 3 things are a big deal, though it did take away from a fully good experience.

We had a great experience with Dominic Marquez. He was friendly, polite, communicative, and did a great job repairing a leak on our HVAC system, as well as replacing a large duct in the crawlspace.

The whole experience with JJ was fantastic! First, Alan came by and knew exactly what I needed with the new AC and furnace. He was very detailed, excellent communication, and worked out a fantastic price for me with no haggling. When it came to the install day Javier and Abraham came by and did a fantastic and beautiful job. They were very friendly, professional, and kept everything clean! I recently used JJ Heating and Air Conditioning for my annual inspection of both my heating and A/C. During the A/C inspection we noticed a problem that caused the system to fail a few days later. Dominic came out and worked with Lennox to diagnose the problem and get it resolved. He was always very professional and clearly explained the issues and my options. I would definitely recommend them for any HVAC work.

I owned a small business for 23 years and believe I am a pretty good judge of character when it comes to a company selling you a big ticket home improvement item.
I was impressed with Andrew when he gave us the estimate for a new heat pump system to replace our 20 year old HVAC.
We went ahead and purchased the recommended system. The installers were very good and you can see they care about their work.
We had a small issue with programming the new thermostat after the installation and Alan came out and reprogrammed it and showed me how to do it easily in the future.
Really good people to work with and their prices are good as well.
