My experience with Golden Coast has been fantastic. From the very beginning day that the fire occurred they have been with us. In my opinion, there are first class organization.

My husband and I started a two bathroom renovation last February. Needless to say.. a project that was supposed to take 10 weeks. After months of dealing with constant errors and added costs...the last company we used turned in a nightmare, we ultimately had to fire them through legal means.
The contractor we used could have topped anyone's home renovation horror stories and I heard a lot after sharing ours.
However, some renovation Angel finally heard our prayers and sent us “Golden Coast Construction” . I cannot say how beautifully our bathrooms turned out ! I wanted to share this with you all because as I said we have heard so many stories about people loosing money, time and now suffer Renovation PTSD!
Golden Coast Construction “Tony” listened to us and took care to even the tiniest details. Very talented, honest, trustworthy, dependable, and extremely aimed to please and give us exactly what we wanted . He has our as well as other projects listed on his site. If you need renovation, bathroom, kitchen, carpententry , etc I highly recommend!!!!!! Save yourself and go with them!!

Faulty electric outlets in my kitchen that this company "restored" continues to go out whenever i use any of my kitchen appliances. Not only have they ignored my calls to address the issue, once they finally show up to "repair" the issue all i'm told is there's nothing wrong with the faulty outlets.

We like working with Golden Coast so much that we hired them for three projects and would certainly hire them again in the future.

One of the best things about Golden Coast is that you can trust that they will do quality work. They honor their word and follow-through on commitments.

We first met Alex, the owner, in 2012 when he bid a roofing, windows and siding project for our four unit HOA. I worked closely with Alex and his team throughout the project. They did quality work and completed the project on time.

In 2014, our duplex caught fire and was destroyed. We immediately knew who to contact to restore the property. After the fire, several contractors tried to quickly take-on the project and many sought the project for the insurance money, but did not offer quality input or services for the project. Golden Coast, on the other hand, offered a fair bid for the restoration project. Not only that, but they supported us through the entire process with the insurance company, ensuring that we had the proper paperwork completed and advising us where and when appropriate to remain firm with our insurance company. Golden Coast managed the entire restoration project, inside and out, completely transforming our duplex. After their restoration, we were able to immediately rent both sides of our duplex and our tenants have been very pleased with their work.

In 2015, we remodeled our townhouse bathrooms and kitchen. Again, we were very pleased with Golden Coast's work. My husband and I are very detailed and Alex T, Paul and the team ensured that each of our requests were met to make sure we were happy with the results. Thanks to their detailed work, we were able to list and sell our townhome for a greater value.

We even had an issue with our roof at one point due to a severe windstorm and even though the issue was not covered by our warranty, Josanne and Leo helped ensure that the problem was fixed free of charge.

We trust Golden Coast and their quality work and will hire them again for our next restoration project.

Golden Coast is first class. Jim, our initial contact, spent a lot of time explaining, measuring, and bidding the job. Sergi, Alex and Nick were fabulous. They were perfectionists. They worked long hours. They cleaned the premises at the end of every day and hauled away the refuse. They were professional and personable. The siding is beautiful. At a desperate and critical time such as the loss of a home destroyed by fire, you wonder who and where to turn. With the personal concerns I had to manage - family, relocating, time lost from work, and endless days of phone calls, the last thing I was in need of was concern of whether or not I'd found the right company to restore and rebuild my home. Bombarded with calls from construction companies both day and night I had to decide which one to select. If you have never had this type of loss, you will not understand the devastation, which ensues. After days of research and due diligence, I chose Golden Coast. More specifically, because of the sincere and honest approach which Mike (a member of the company team) exemplified. I could not have made a better or wiser decision! From start to finish Golden Coast Construction has literally helped change the lives of my family. The professionalism of this company is unmatched. If they say they are going to do something, they do it! There were no hidden surprises along the way, and they listened to what my concerns were then exceeded the expectations. Long overdue review for Golden Coast Construction.
Integrity is the one word that I would use for Golden Coast Construction team. I contacted this company last year because big portion of our home was destroyed by fire. As you know construction is full of surprises and our family was under big stress but Golden Coast made it as smooth as possible and were always on top of everything the finished job looks beautiful as well!!. Paul and Dennis were my go to guys.

There was never a time when I couldn't call and ask any questions, there were frequent checkups on the progress at my home by either Paul or Dennis.
They showed much dedication and integrity in their work. I recommend this place to anyone looking for renovations on anything or repairs or even a simple remodel!!!
P.S. I have posted some of my pictures on Facebook and believe me there were plenty of thumbs ups to go around. Thank you Golden Coast Construction it was a pleasure to do business with you!

The devastation of losing our home to a fire was unimaginable. Thankfully, a trusted relative recommended Rudy at Golden Coast, and reaching out to him was the best decision we made.

Rudy and his team immediately took charge and began dealing with our insurance company. They meticulously compiled the necessary documentation, advocated for our needs, and expedited the approval of our reconstruction plans and permits.

Once the permits were secured (this part took the longest), the reconstruction began swiftly. We were then introduced to Roman, the project manager, who became our lifeline throughout the rebuilding process. Roman's communication was exceptional. He provided regular, detailed updates, often accompanied by photos, so we felt constantly informed and involved. He wasn't just a manager; he was a partner, proactively seeking our input, offering insightful suggestions, and patiently answering our numerous questions.

What truly set Roman apart was his attention to detail and his genuine care for our satisfaction. He would call and ask questions like, "Would you prefer this type of trim around the windows, or this one? Here's a picture of both." or "We found a potential issue with the subflooring. We're going to fix it this way, and here's why."

The selection process, facilitated through Builder's Trend, was surprisingly streamlined and stress-free. The platform's user-friendly interface allowed us to easily browse and choose finishes, fixtures, and materials, ensuring that our rebuilt home reflected our personal style.

The entire rebuilding journey with Golden Coast, led by Rudy and Roman, was remarkably smooth and efficient. They transformed a traumatic experience into a manageable process, delivering a beautifully rebuilt home that exceeded our expectations. We are immensely grateful for their expertise, professionalism, and unwavering support. If you're facing a similar situation, we wholeheartedly recommend Golden Coast.

My house was a total lost. I met Elizabeth and she explained Golden Coast's experience and what they could do on the rebuild, contacted my insurance. Tim kept me updated on the progress and delivered a beautiful finished product. Very satisfied with Golden Coast.

Judging from how they speak to potential clients at tabling events, I would not recommend this business. As a woman walking by, the guy tabling handed out an informational and was like…”Here, give this to your husband.” When I asked why should I give it to my husband, he responded “Oh you don't have a husband? Well put this magnet on your car and maybe you’ll get one.” Incredibly rude, misogynistic, sexist, and dismissive for absolutely no reason at all. It’s 2026 and this business is out there talking to women like it’s 1950.

I can't recommend Golden Coast highly enough, especially Roman! After a large tree struck our 1895 historic building in mid-town Sacramento, Roman was instrumental in the repair process. He was detailed, thorough, and incredibly communicative, keeping me informed every step of the way and even coordinating directly with my tenants. His commitment to high-quality work, even with the complexities of a historic property and the required permits, was exceptional. Rudy and the entire Golden Coast team also deserve thanks for navigating the difficult historic district regulations. Their combination of knowledge and care is truly unique and special."

Just over a year ago we lost my brother to a fire in his house. The instant devastation and confusion as to what to do next were overwhelming. Golden Coast was there for us every step of the way. They were the first to contact us when the fire happened, to ask if we wanted them to secure the house right after the fire. They advocated for us with Allstate Insurance as to what the ideal restoration would entail. Golden Coast's scope of the work needed, exceeded what Allstate said was necessary. But as it turned Golden was accurate, Allstate was wrong. The actual construction was excellent and looked like a brand new house. They gave us the guarantee that there would be no residual smoke smell! They stayed true to that promise despite the limitations of the insurance payout. Allstate did not take the recommendations of the third party forensic inspectors that they hired to determine what still needed to be done to mitigate the lingering smoke smell. Golden stepped up to meet their guarantee in an instant. They did not charge us extra for the additional necessities of construction and smoke mitigation. They said they would deal with the insurance company. The finished house is beautiful, and does not smell like smoke. We put it on the market and it sold within weeks. We will be forever grateful to Golden Coast, and ALL of their employees. Every person we worked with was absolutely delightful and professional, and we felt well taken care of.

Giving this review on the behalf of my parents, my parents cannot express enough how grateful they are for the incredible work done by Golden Coast Construction & Restoration. After their home was tragically burned down, we were devastated and overwhelmed by the thought of rebuilding. From the very first consultation, their team was professional, compassionate, and truly understood the emotional weight of the situation.

I had the honor of having Dennis come out and run me through the whole replacement of my flooring and all of the options. They were completely professional and respectful. They make you feel like family! They provide you a warranty and they are true to their work. There are no shortcuts only professional wok and it shows!

Golden Coast rebuilt our parent’s house. It was completely destroyed in a fire.
They are elderly and they had built it themselves. Needless to say they were very emotionally attached to the home. Golden Coast did a wonderful job rebuilding it. Our project manager , Mark Kotyakov, was amazing. He is professional, efficient and knowledgeable. He was inconstant communication with us. Even if things were being delayed or there were issues with the project, we always knew what was going on. I highly recommend this contractor.

Our house was in a mess and your company Golden Coast came in and made it great. They did a beautiful job. I couldn’t have asked for a better company to come in my home. Surviving a house fire is a horrible experience. The night of the fire, Robert was there solid as a rock. Elizabeth is what made us select them over other companies. She walked us through what to expect immediately afterwards, was available to answer any questions anytime and made the of the process so much easier. Once we began the demolition, Roman took the helm and masterfully guided us through the the rebuild. Golden Coast Construction, especially Roman and Ernie, exceeded my expectations for rebuilding after my house fire. If there was a delay due to a slow response from my homeowners insurance, they kept me in the loop. Roman was exceptional in explaining the process of rebuilding during a fairly traumatic year. Patience of a saint! The detailed workmanship made my home look almost brand new! I highly recommend Gold Coast for their quality workmanship, accessibility and integrity.
