The service provided by Altec Construction was superior. My rental was effected by a fire next door. The Altec crew was very swift and efficient; kept me fully aware of the timeline. I have to say the whole process was easy and fast. I would use Altec Construction again and also recommend them.

I would like to say A few things about my experience With Altec Construction. My wife and I had a slow leak In our kitchen that ruined our floor and cabinets and had mold in the walls. The Insurance suggested Altec Construction To do the repairs. I talked to Shawn who is the Forman that came out to estimate the damages. In the past I have had some dealings with other contractors so my guard was up. For me trust is earned not just given so he had that hurdle to overcome. Speaking to him he was up front about it was not going to be a quick fix.If we wanted to make changes we can negotiate what the Insurance pays to what it will cost. My wife and I had an idea of what we would like to do with our kitchen since we had to tare it up anyway. I will not lie it took a lot longer than we anticipated. When you have multiple people you have to plan to come together not everyone has the same schedule. Living out of boxes is tuff especially with a disabled daughter and wife.Shawn was nice enough to install a temporary sink so my wife didn't have to handle the heat of the garage. As this project was progressing we were giving Shawn instructions on what we wanted but then tweaking it in the middle of the project. I am not the easiest person to get along with (just ask my wife) but Shawn took it like a trooper.
All said and done my wife and I are very happy with the job they have done. Our kitchen is very beautiful and now my wife has the kitchen that she has always wanted. We were so empressed that we hired them to install a new floor in our living room and replace a French door.I checked around on price and he always came in a lot cheaper than other contractors. He does a great job and he is very honest. He told me at the very beginning he would not take advantage of us and he has lived up to that.His workers are also trustful and good people and had no problems with them. So if you need a contractor I highly recommend Altec Construction you can't go wrong.

For the first time in my life, I had the need for a construction company. I was very nervous and frightened about the entire process of choosing one. A young man, his name, Dustin, came my to survey the work needed. He was so kind, he immediately put me at ease. I made my decision then to hire Altec Construction. I met the team who would be working at my home. They were all very professional, hardworkers, and focused. The Superintendent, Alex, was very kind, friendly, and a professional, with a great eye for detail He made it a point daily to make sure the work was done correctly. This great crew completed my dilemena earlier than expected!!
I can't say thank you enough to Altec Construction!! I have my life back!!

The entire experience with Altec was wonderful. Professional and meticulous work. We had a roof leak that caused drywall damage and our downstairs floors needing to be replaced. They were easy to get a hold of if I had any questions.

AlTEC Construction just finished a bathroom remodel project at our place. We are extremely happy with the finished work. There is nothing that I would re-do or change. Everyone starting from the demo folks to the fixture folks are extremely professional, polite and non-intrusive. The work was done within budget and on a timely fashion.

Although the damage to my home affected only one room, I was nearly paralyzed by worry. I didn’t know whether a contractor could restore the character of features in my 1930s-era home. Altec did both the damage cleanup and the repairs. When they were done with my hardwood floors, drywall, trim and window frames, it looked as wonderful as it had before. As they completed one step after another, my spirits lifted. I appreciate how they also listened to my concerns and showed empathy for what had happened. Every employee did so, and that empathy translated into ensuring that they got things right. They did not make assumptions about how I wanted things done. They consulted with me. I would use their services again.

Very disappointed in the service I received. A team worked here for three months restoring my lower level after a broken water pipe. Everything went fairly smooth with the repairs and the team was very friendly and accommodating for the most part. A week after completion of the reconstruction I had a leak in my upstairs master bath by the tub. I called Altec right away. Someone came out within a few days but the leak could not be found. Over the course of a couple weeks and five different guys coming here, the leak was finally located and repaired. Turns out it was a tiny hole in the grout which I found, not Altec. What disappoints me is the fact that one guy in particular, I was requesting to not come out to the house because he didn’t seem to know what he was doing, yet he returned on two other occasions. This leak repair took 2 1/2 months to complete and drywall was cut out of my water closet. My request for completion seemed to be annoying the head guys at Altec. I was then requested to pay a huge bill for a tiny leak repair in the grout. The job was never even completed and the huge hole in my drywall left unfinished. Altec wanted an exorbitant amount to get this repaired, but I was consistently told that they were backed up and didn’t have time to fix it. I had to find an outside person to finish the job for far less money. Furthermore, the one guy who I did not want to return to my home always had his phone on speaker and I heard the head guy from Altec saying that he did not want to do this job and didn’t have time for it. Why did he not tell me that in the first place? Very disappointed and will never call on them again. The final bill also noted plumbing repair, when the plumbing was never ever touched

Altec did a beautiful job on my whole downstairs flooring! The employees were very professional and hard workers! Shawn was amazing to work with! I will definitely be using them again for my next projects!

We are more than happy to give a SHOUT OUT to Altec Construction. We feel so fortunate that one of our friends recommended the company to us after they had completed work on her house. Altec Construction presented a reasonable bid and timeline, so we hired them to build a large bonus room on the back of our house, remodel a bathroom, convert our two-and-a-half car garage into an in-law suite, and replace the wooden fence and gates around our property. The work on our house was no small task, but Altec Construction took care of business and exceeded our expectations! Throughout the planning, permitting, and renovation process, Shawn, the project manager, stopped by often to check on his crew and to keep us informed as to their progress. If we knew his size, we’d get Shawn a superhero costume for all the times he went above and beyond. He patiently listened to our concerns and ideas. He made sure that the work that was hidden behind the walls and underneath the flooring was of the same high quality as the finishes that we could see. Our satisfaction with the final product is a reflection of the company’s reputation for quality work.
When Shawn was not available, Alex, the other project manager, filled in without missing a beat. Clyde, Greg, Nathan, and several other crew members showed up on time and got right to work. The quality of their work shows that they take pride in a job well done. The office manager, Jill, was friendly and professional. Their willingness to consistently communicate with us shows that the company values their customers.
We were so pleased with the process and final product that we recommended Altec Construction to a neighbor who needed a total bathroom remodel. She is very happy with her new bathroom, and she has thanked us more than once for telling her about Altec Construction.

Altec Construction is a superior company that is customer oriented. They went above and beyond to help restore our house after a major flood, which included flood migration, drywall work, painting, carpeting, and reflooring the whole house. I highly recommend them.

This company does a great job, very responsible and does what they promised. Their staffs ( I can name some of them as Alex, Walton) are very skillful, hard-working, polite and caring. When one of the owner ( his name is Shawn Dalton) works with you on a project you won’t have to worry at all since he will have everything perfectly done for you. Altec is a reliable company.

I had a great experience with Altec Construction after an issue with water damaged where my garage storage unit needed to be rebuilt due to water damage. Nathan from the start of the project was friendly and told me all the steps he was taking and gave me confidence he would do a great job. The garage looked 1000% better and he made sure I was completely satified. Nathan kept me informed the entire time about the timeline and when he expects to be done. I can finally use my garage again and get my items stored properly. The work from Altec Construction was awesome and I would definately recommend them for any type of construction project.

It has been a great experience with Altec. I had Jeff come in and gave me an estimate when I had sewer back up problem. He came and answered all my questions. He was very attentive to my concerns and I am glad I chose them to help me with the reconstruction. Shawn had been so great in making sure everything is done well. I had a large kitchen leak which damaged
the flooring and island cabinet. AAA sent Altec Construction to do the remediation and reconstruction. The whole experience with Altec was beyond excellent. From mold removal, reconstruction, flooring and painting, all were great. All of the crew were knowledgeable, on time, cleaned up and answered my many questions. We had extensive water damage to our home and decided to go with Altec for the repairs, and are very satisfied with not only the excellent work, but also the professionalism of every member of the team. Altec did the construction for us as a result of a kitchen fire damage in our rental. Shawn and the crew were excellent to work with. They were helpful and eager to work with us during the course of construction and completing the final finishing work. Shawn kept us informed, at all times to the progress of the construction. Notified us when we needed to pick out appliances, countertops, cabinets, etc in a timely manner, so that everything would be ready to install when construction had been completed to that point. Shawn always got back to me in a timely manner, even on weekends and when he was out of town. The final completion is absolutely beautiful! I would definitely use Altec Construction again! Altec helped guide us through the insurance process after severe winter storms damaged our home and property. They were very knowledgeable and helpful as we navigated the rebuilding and remodeling process. They made our house dreams come true and we are truly grateful for all of their hard work!

I had a major roof leak in the middle of a rainstorm and couldn’t get any roofing company to respond to my crisis, so I contacted Altec Construction and their 24/7 emergency response team was on the ball! They came out and tarped my roof, put fans in my attic and recommended a reputable roofer to fix the issues with my roof. Above all, they gave me peace of mind! When the roof repairs were completed, they removed and replaced the moldy sheetrock in my garage with expertise and care, replaced it and brought the drywall back to its original state. In fact, it looks better than it originally did! All the employees who came out during this project were professional and friendly. I highly recommend Altec Construction for any emergency or restoration project.
