Geremia built our pool 5+ yrs ago and they continue to provide excellent maintenance service. From the onset of the pool built they were over the top professional, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Building a pool is a significant financial endeavor, and of coarse you want a company that respects your personal budget; Geremia did that and more. And yes, whenever you do any kind of construction there are bound to be some unforeseen issues that come up. Working with Geremia, two issues did occur during my pool build, but before I even knew there was an issue my site manager had already had a solution to remedy issues. With both issues Geremia resolved them to my benifit; (very few companies put their customers first any more). From estimate, to design, through the build process, Geremia gave me outstanding service and gave my family an excellent pool environment to play, have fun and enjoy spending time together.

I was cut off by one of their trucks who was towing a huge piece of equipment on Sierra Blvd/towards E Douglas Rd.
Not only did he cut me off, he proceeded to tailgate the car infront. Recklessly drove for about 2 mikes before I pulled over and called the # on the drivers cab door. (The trailer had rocks/debris falling off the back. Pitted my hood)
This was after 8am on a weekday. All extensions I tried to reach were sent to voicemail. Even the owners was full & couldn’t accept messages.
I did get a return call about 4 hours later & that female office manager could care less.
I’m sure if I needed a pool in my backyard, they wouldn’t get a call from myself.

I called Geremia on Feb 23 at 10:01am. Left a VM. Was called back at 10:50am (That's 5 Star Responsiveness!) Spoke with a seemingly professional agent. We worked together to schedule an on-site evaluation of my pool the following week, for Thursday, March 4.

It is now March 5. Nobody has showed up and when I called yesterday (March 4) to ask what time the rep would be at my house I again left a VM but was not given a call back (Not 5 star responsiveness).

You broke my heart Geremia, you broke my heart.

Overall I have to give this company only 4 stars because they lose a star for no show no call.

Beautiful pool. Nothing but problems since it was installed. Geremia refuses to work with its customers on correcting shoddy parts and workmanship. Cannot recommend this company.

We had Geremia build this pool 42 years ago for us so it was natural they would be the ones we'd call to update the plaster, tile, decking and equipment. Their guys on their crew had been servicing and building pools for DECADES and knew how every piece of the visible as well as underground system worked. We updated equipment, rerouted plumbing, resurfaced everything and now have a pool that is even better and much more energy efficient than it was when it was new. Their price, while not the least expensive was competitive, but the value they delivered and customer service was unbeatable!

We only just signed up recently. When they show up, they do great work. But they've missed two weeks, the pool is getting increasingly green, they took the pool sweep out and disabled it and there it sits, beside the pool, waiting for ???. Very disappointed.

Geremia designed and constructed our pool many years ago. They recently remodeled it for us. They are extremely professional and their customer service is excellent. We have many happy years using our pool and plan on many more. I highly recommend Geremia.

Won't return phone calls or emails. Staff did not follow through with promises.

I order a new ballast and build for my Ultra pure ozonator. They let me know I ordered the wrong ballast and helped me swap it out. These guys are awesome. I replace both of them and now my unit is overhauled and ready to roll.

I have used this company for about 9 years they have been great. They must have changed ownership they charged me $350.00 and did not fix my pool. I have called and emailed no response. I paid just so I wasn’t sent to collections.

The absolute worst. Do not use this company. Less than 2 years since completion of my pool, I spent $800 on water bills due to a leak in the pool. 6 months later, I have another leak in my equipment. They sold me equipment that is unnecessary and does not work together. The plaster of my pool is pitting and eroding. Chunks have fallen off of the cement around the edge of the pool. I have been advised to hire an attorney because the whole pool needs to be redone. When I told them they put in unnecessary and uncoordinated equipment, they told me no, I don’t need all of the equipment they put in, but customers would be offended if they didn’t offer them everything. This is just a sampling of the blunders. Just a complete and total incompetence from day 1.

Good luck getting them to contact you! I have reached out for a month and the only messages I get from them are emails telling me how busy they are and that someone will reach out to me .... tick tock ... nothing happens. If this is the "timely" response you get from this company, it would probably take 3 years to build a pool. I am choosing to work with a company that has phone lines with the ability to make outbound calls and an understanding of the phrase CUSTOMER SERVICE - hard pass on this company.

I’ve been getting my pool serviced by geremia pools for over a year now and I’m very happy with them. My pool is consistently clean and clear. Everyone that we’ve interacted with there is very professional. Marc has been very responsive anytime we’ve needed anything. Great value, you get more than your money’s worth from Geremia pools. Highly recommend

They just stopped showing up one day. I called them and spoke to Gabe who promised they would be out and they still never showed. Called 8 more times and left 3 emails and no response from them at all. Completely ghosted my property after we have been customers for a while. I would not recommend this place at all for any of your pool needs. They probably have the worst customer service out of all the vendors I have used in the last 12 years. After reading other reviews the quality of service as went down across the board over the last year could be COVID or poor management. OF course that is just speculation and I am unsure why they have gotten so bad.

Kenny is very knowledgeable and great at pool repairs. He is kind, patient and understanding during my service calls. Pools can be frustrating when not working correctly. In the end I have a smile on my face.

Let me start by saying that we could not have been happier with the work that Geremia did for us. Our experience was great from the start, the day we met Wanda our designer. She was so patient with us, and never forced any ideas on us. She truly listened to what we thought we wanted, what we didn’t want, and came up with a design that we loved. When the design was a little outside our budget, she worked with us on changes to get the design within our budget. A big frustration for us (and totally understandable) is the lack of information online regarding the cost of pool features. Wanda didn’t try to sell us something we couldn’t afford. Instead, she was patient and provided some options for how to reduce cost, but still keep the look and feel we wanted. She did a great job of not making us feel like we had to settle, and more like we just had to make a few tradeoffs.
Once we agreed on the design and cost, we moved into construction. We were then left in the capable hands of Susan the project manager, although Wanda still stayed involved, because she cares about the little details and makes sure that everything gets incorporated exactly as planned. Construction was efficient, and even though the backyard was a construction zone, the crew cleaned up everyday. They still treated our yard as our home and were polite and courteous. Susan made sure to call a few days in advance of each phase and inspection, so we knew exactly what to expect and when to expect it.
The last phase of the project was the filling and adjusting of the chemicals. Geremia was great with explaining the process and sent an expert out to develop a plan for getting the pool up and running as quick as possible. I felt like after the meeting I knew exactly how to work all the functions of the pool, and was confident in how to adjust the chemicals to make sure the pool is clean and safe.
The entire experience was great in my opinion. When you spend that kind of money, you want to feel like you are getting a good value. I feel like we got what we paid for and then some. Geremia did a great job of explaining the process that I was confident in their abilities the entire time. We have had friends in our neighborhood with pools that did not recommend their builders because they didn’t feel like they could trust those companies. Geremia earned our trust, and I would without hesitation recommend them to friends and family that are interested in building a pool. They are not the cheapest, but they were also not the most expensive, and you get the feeling that a company that’s been around for so long will continue to be there for you.

Working with Geremia Pools and Landscaping has been a nightmare! We began our project in 2021. It is now 2024 and we still have an incomplete front yard, backyard, and new pool installation. We have damage to our preexisting property and many defects. When we signed our contract, their website quoted a 10-14 week pool build time, boasted about their expertise, the number of years they have been in business, the quality of their work, and that they do not use subcontractors because “building a quality pool means never taking shortcuts, using subcontractors may save builders money, but it also means chances for mistakes. We don’t take chances with your project.” Our experience has been that Geremia representatives are difficult to get on the phone, do subpar work, use subcontractors, and our contract for the pool was just under 6 months and they still weren’t finished six months after our contractual end date with no updates on a new projected end date from them. THAT IS A YEAR AFTER BREAKING GROUND WITH NO POOL!!! We have long cracks all over our shotcrete pool. Geremia offered to fix the pool cracks with epoxy injection which was referred to several times in my research as a “band aid fix”. This pool is supposed to be brand new! We wanted to test to make sure there wasn’t an underlying issue with the shotcrete itself or the soil on our property that could cause continued cracking in the pool that may result in a leak and/ or may have required a change in the engineering. Geremia didn’t want to test anything. Our site supervisor didn't respond to any emails and was rarely on our property. Unapproved deviations were made from the plans including attempting to install our skimmer in the wrong location, building a wall in the wrong location, and installing an unnecessary electrical outlet under our water spigot which was a safety concern. There were additional safety concerns and increased liability for us because they didn’t have up temporary fencing to keep people out of our construction site and they weren’t going to do a second inspection of our ground bonding after ripping out the first. There were issues with our design plans that leave us with bubblers in our cabo ledge that will not function as they are supposed to, a bench in the deep end that we did not want and were told is required by law (which is not true), and we had concrete columns floating over our waterline where swimmers could hit their heads. I asked that the wall be moved back far enough for the columns to sit back flush with the edge of the pool to eliminate the safety hazard and was told that could not be done because it wouldn’t pass code. A city inspector confirmed that was not true. Brandon Ellis, who we were led to believe is a Geremia employee, hired an unlicensed company to do our dig (which he has been cited for through the CSLB). We were sent a duplicate invoice for payments already submitted and invoices for work not yet completed in full and with defects. Several of their reviews are written by employees, family, Facebook friends, etc. without disclosing their associations as required by the Federal Trade Commission. I could go on and on about this company’s unscrupulous business practices and poor workmanship! We were not able to use our backyard at all for 16 months and we still don’t have the benefit of any landscaping or use of our pool (if that is what you can call it in its current state). I am back to a dirt lot which is a worse position than when we started. They have not been out to do work on our property since approximately October of 2022, have not worked with us in the testing of our property to determine the appropriate path of repair, declined mediation, and threatened to send us to collections. We have had to spend tens of thousands of dollars hiring a lawyer, an engineer, a pool expert, and company to test the shotcrete and soil. Our home, which used to be our safe haven and place of peace, isn’t anymore. My home business is suffering. My family is suffering and there is no end in sight.

By far one of the worst companies I have had to deal with. Their unprofessionalism was astounding. The pool installation took over a year to get final approval. Once final approval was received, they never came back to finish the punch list items and disappeared after that. We have now been waiting for over 8 months for them to contact us again to take care of the final items that we were promised. I would never refer this company to anyone for any reason.

We contacted several pool contractors in May of 2017 because we wanted to retile & replaster our 30 year old pool. We decided to go with Geremia Pools because they were the original builders. We signed the contract with our design consultant, Ray Schwartz, on 6/17/17. The predicted start date was 7/27/17 with a completion predicted for 8/12/17. I guess we weren't a big job so they kept pushing back our start date & it eventually started in October 2017. Long story short, they discovered some deep cracks in the structure & our simple replaster turned into a complete pool reconstruction of a new pool within the old pool. Disappointing but it was just the facts. The "Lifetime Warranty" didn't apply because we weren't the original owners.
The reconstruction resumed in December 2017. The pool was finally plastered on 3/5/18. The technician, Chris Riggs, that did our pool start-up was excellent and very helpful. It was about that time that we started seeing some work that they did and we were not happy with. We developed a punch list of items that needed to be and could be corrected. We say could be corrected because they couldn't do much about one of our privet trees that they cut to a stump without asking. Or the tile that they used on a ledge that we didn't know would exist. We only approved that tile to be inlaid in the steps and not immediately next the the primary tile. It does not match the primary tile when they are placed right next to each other. However, they couldn't magically regrow our tree or dig out that tile.
We sent a 10 item punch list to Geremia about our concerns on March 13. On April 24, a technician was sent out to deal with some of the items, but not all of the items. Because we were away, we were not able to inspect the technician's work until May 13. We were still not happy with some items. These items included the way they replaced the boulders around the pool didn't look like how they were originally, lots of ugly cement showing. They left a sprinkler line in a plant bed by the pool broken. Now we have no way to water the plants in that bed except by hand watering. There was a working sprinkler there before. There's a stain on the step that was there from the moment the pool was filled . We contacted them again on June 4. We even included before & after pictures. We heard nothing back. We contacted them again on June 14 with the 3 remaining punch list items. We heard nothing back. We wrote again on July 12 and we still have not heard anything back. We are very disappointed with Geremia's follow-up. We put our trust in them. They sure want your money at the pool completion, but good luck getting them to resolve issues that they caused. We see that other reviewers have said similar things about their follow-up. Beware!

    UPDATE!
Sent an email to Dallas last June and he responded that he would have someone come out as soon as possible. No one came. I contacted him in October 2024 and ask for an update since I had not heard from anyone. I got no response from that email. Now it is the end of January and in February it will have been another 4 months total 8 months from when he said someone would come out and look at our problem. My opinion has not changed about Geremia pools. They do not honor their warranties.

I’m a new customer, since December 1st, for weekly pool cleaning and service on Fridays. I pay $180 per month for this service. Whoever is there assigned account person, he hasn’t shown up the last two weeks and hasn’t cleaned my pool and spa, or tested our chemicals. I called and left a message on Thursday just to remind them that they are supposed to come on Fridays to clean the pool just to be sure, and still no cleaning this week. Not a good look for a company their first month on the job. Sadly, I’ll probably have to find a new company.

Update: During a recent visit to Leslie’s Pool Supply, I learned that they do not believe this company is still in business.

We thought it best that prospective customers know.l so as to avoid the fate of unfinished pool projects.

Sad as their reputation was very strong a year ago.

    Original revised review:

My wife and I have made the decision to rescind a prior 4 star review upon discovering that a number of the sub-contractors involved in our pool project have not been paid in the 6 months since the pool and landscaping have been completed.

As a result our solar heating system will not be serviced by the installer and a number of open items including a final inspection has not been addressed.

We’ve had to hire a number of additional services to assess and repair critical system issues to keep our pool running.

Even more we do not believe it is ok to leave balances unpaid to sub contractors.

Upon resolution of this situation we will happily return our review to Google Reviews.
