I called this company not long ago . And he only does black and white no other colors or no different curb outside boarders. I asked for his pricing and he said 45.00 just to only put an address on my curb and he only does black and white colors. I noticed around my area other people had beautiful art designs on their curb with their address done . It looked beautiful! However I asked him if he can do a beautiful art design with my address and he said no . Which is fine but he was very rude about it on the phone he told me it’s not a hobby of mine it’s my job. Well other people do do what you do and it’s their job as well not a hobby of theirs and they work with all colors! So if you want someone to do this for you do not use his company.

I highly recommend Lyons Curb Refresh. They were polite, prompt, and professional! Our new house numbers with special design and reflective coating was only $30. A total bargain in my opinion. They have earned a customer for life.

I found them on Angies List and on google with a good rating but when I came to scheduling them to come out and give me an estimate they have canceled on me two times the first time with out even calling me to reschedule and when I called 15 minutes after they where supposed to be there the person handling their office number said he was not able to make it and apologized and the Second time Was today they confirmed with me today 6/10/2025 at 8 am that they will be their and I have spoken with them in the past I work an hour away. They sent me a text me at 12:20 pm when we had an appointment at 1:00 pm saying they was not going to make it. I find this kind of customer service disrespectful to the customer that had taken time out of their work day to drive an hour out of their way from work to meet with the estimator. If I could I would give the a 0 star rating for this horrible customer service and caution anyone else that lives in the foot hill to not waist their time with this company.

My husband and I decided we needed to get our front and back yard drought friendly and low maintenance. We found Black Diamond ( more importantly we found Lacy Valenzuela!) and we are so happy we reached out the this company.
Lacy was our landscape designer, architect, project manager, and became our friend! Her design blew our mind. She listened to us and let us dream together with her and she came up with a design for both the front and backyard that is truly beautiful.
Her computer program gave us the opportunity to see what her designs would look like before a single shovel of dirt was lifted. This was key because other designers either didn’t have that ability or they wanted money and a commitment to use their company before they would invest in that.
That was key for us in deciding to go with Black diamond and Lacy is just the most friendly, professional, smart, hard working person and she really got to know us and our desires for our outdoor living space.
We signed with Black Diamond at the end of 2019. No one knew we were headed for a pandemic. Black Diamond kept plugging away and kept the project going even when the world was shut down. It did take a little longer but we understood that these were strange times.
We love our backyard and we have become lifelong friends with Lacy and her entire family.
Other noteworthy favorite was Jorge. He worked tirelessly on this project. Even when there was a setback or if we wanted something changed he always had a smile on his face and would say yes and get to work. He was an amazing person with a very high work ethic! Edgar was also so wonderful to work with. He had to deal with a few big setbacks with the pavers but never made us feel like we were inconveniencing him. One final shout out to Tony. He helped us a lot with our incredible putting green. I will upload pictures so look for them after this post. It’s amazing. It was my husbands one request for this project and it’s beautiful! It’s five holes and stretches across the entire back of the yard. The holes light up at night and the way the green is designed you would think you were in a really nice golf course. It’s amazing.
Again, we highly recommend this company. During these unsettling times in our world, to be able to entertain family and friends in our yard is so important to us and now we have the perfect outdoor space to do so!

When we first moved into our home the backyard was a mess, with a retaining wall that was falling over and weeds everywhere.

We knew we wanted a low maintenance yard but aside from that weren’t sure of what we wanted. We had a consultation with Lacy Valenzuela with Black Diamond and were impressed with her knowledge and creativity with what we could do with our backyard. She had a lot of ideas and came up with a design that we loved. The difference is incredible. It turned out better than we imagined. We are now enjoying our backyard. It is finally a peaceful space that we love spending time in. We couldn’t be happier and will definitely hire Lacy again when we are ready to fix up our front yard.

My experience with Black Diamond has been great. Their prices are fair, and the scheduling was quick, especially since we had our yard done during the busiest time of year.

Lacy Valenzuela was our Project Design Specialist and all around contact with the company, and she was absolutely amazing. She came over every time we needed her and was endlessly available by email, phone or text very seriously every day, all day - even on weekends. She was extremely sweet, kind, and respectful, very clearly cared about and listened to what we wanted, and completely flexible when I requested changes to various plans throughout the process. She readily gave us experienced advice and suggestions on what to do with our yard based on our taste, but never tried to push us into something we didn't want to pay for. And, perhaps most importantly, in the end she delivered exactly what she promised at exactly the price she promised. She was just an awesome lady in general and I was so happy to have worked with her and Black Diamond on our yard project. We certainly plan on working with them for our future projects, and highly recommend them to anyone else!

Black Diamond is excellent! Julie, our designer, was very communicative throughout the process - keeping us “in the loop” and updated on the process, included us in decision making, and truly listened to our requests. She designed our backyard oasis making it just what we envisioned. Rozival, our foreman, gave particular care to every detail making sure he didn’t leave anything unnoticed. Liz, the Coordinator, made sure everything was delivered and picked up on time - there wasn’t any evident delay. They finished the job in less time than originally stated, even with the changes we asked for along the way. We highly recommend Black Diamond to anybody who wants a detail oriented, very professional, and amazing results!

The folks at Black Diamond made the process simple and enjoyable. Ryan was an excellent project manager; communicative, positive, and helpful at all stages. We didn't have a professional design drawn up, by Ryan worked with us to make our vision for the backyard a reality. The crew boss, Leo, was also THE MAN. He's super responsive and kind, and just generally gets sh*t done. Will definitely come back to Black Diamond for any future backyard improvements.

Black Diamond Company did a great job in tearing out the old grass and sprinkler system in the big backyard full of weeds. An experienced team of workers build a beautiful paved walkway all around a newly planted grass area and sprinkler system, as well as creating flower beds complete with weed protection and rock coverings. Mathew was the lead designer and responsive to any concerns during the project.

Black Diamond did an great job for us during our backyard remodel! Tony Baumgartner was amazing and made sure that we were happy with every detail before the job closed. Tony went above and beyond what we expected of him and the results speak for themselves. We couldn't be happier with Tony's attention to detail, design recommendations, and follow through. Black Diamond was wonderful and we will surely call them back when we are ready for the next project!. Thank You All!

The pavers, walls, stone and landscaping all complement each other perfectly. Lacy Valenzuela was wonderful to work with.
