We were very happy that we picked CertaPro to do our painting. They are professional and insured and licensed properly. They kept all promises and were flexible when we needed to change things. Communication was excellent. We are going to bring them back for more jobs. and our rooms look so good!

We sought several bids to painting the exterior of our house and chose CertaPro because of the clear and professional way the proposed work was described to us. Our house needed some repair before painting so the estimator, John, recommended A and D Construction which did a very good job. John's bid was accurate. The 2 man painting crew, Pedro and Carlo (I think), were prompt and courteous. They painted when the weather allowed and always cleaned up at the end of each day. They work diligently to finish as soon as possible without sacrificing quality. We are very pleased with the result.

From first call, appraisal, deck project, and payment, the CertaPro team worked speedily and seamlessly. Communication was friendly and efficient. the 2 person crew who worked on site worked so impressivley and left our deck area pristine after 2 days of sanding and staining. The completed project is top-notch and we couldn't be more pleased with CertaPro.

Got almost the entirety of our interior painted while we were away for a week. CertaPro did a great job in communication, before the job. They showed up when they said they would and finished when they said they would. They did quality work : the edges are clean, the textures even and the drywall repair invisible. Thanks!

We used CertaPro Painters of San Mateo to stain our backyard fence and were extremely happy with the results. From start to finish, CertaPro representatives communicated effectively and efficiently regarding the process and timeline. We also used them years ago to paint the exterior of our house and they did an excellent job on that as well!

We're happy with the work CertaPro did painting our house and decks. The site supervisor paid attention to every detail and came back a week later to do some checking and touch-ups. Looks great and would recommend.
My disappointment was with the payment department and plan. Our job was expected to take 8 days, so I'm thinking 1/4 payment when they start, 1/4 at 4 days and rest upon completion at day 8. The plan we received was 1/4 on 1st day , 1/4 on 3rd day and final payment on 5th day. I emailed the payment department and never received a reply. Lost 1 star

I have hired CertaPro twice now and have been pleased with the work and the process of working with them. They are very responsive, returning more than once to fix windows painted shut. And they're good painters, neat, and thorough. A thoroughly professional business.

I felt good about going with a local company, and had seen CertaPro's signs on many yards around the neighborhood. The estimating/contract phase was quick and effortless. Adds and deductions once underway were too. The crew was diligent and respectful. The foreman made a point to check in with me every morning, asking for feedback, concerns, and informing me of any work hour changes. The work was done in exactly the number of days I was promised and we could not be happier with the results. NOTHING like a fresh coat of paint to make the place look amazing again. I recommend CertaPro as a quality business that will deliver great results.

I am writing this review to say that this painting company is excellent. Very professional the work was done much sooner than expected and they left behind not too much to clean up. The paint job is exceptional.. We left our home for four days gave the key to Salvador and came back to find a beautifully painted home. Everyone that we came in contact with was very professional. Also their prices are very competitive. I strongly recommend CertaPro painters.

I am a returning customer and love the new look they gave the bedroom.
The estimator explained different paint finishes and brand options as well as a color change for an accent wall. Jose also addressed how to prepare the room. The CertaPro painting team was excellent from start to completion. They arrived on time, very professional, courteous, highly skilled and knowledgeable .
Work space was organized and clean afterwards. The project was completed on time.
I also used Dunn Edward’s color consultant Isabela who was fantastic to work with.
I would use CertaPro again.

Great price! Team was quiet as a mouse while repainting my 87 y/o mother's house. This was the third time using them. Twice for our own home. We got two bids, because she wanted it, from the previous contractor and the price difference was ridiculous! We don't even shop around anymore. Just go with CertaPro. Highly recommended.

This company was *exemplary*. We were getting our house ready for the market and CertaPro of San Mateo did an outstanding job. The initial estimate was detailed and we received great advice about how to paint our home so it would be ready for the market. The painting crew arrived promptly every day and even finished the project two days early. The crew did an incredible job painting our house. But beyond all that, the service was really exemplary. For example, we had carpet installed after our paint job was finished. CertaPro came back and did an incredible job addressing some small touchups that were necessary after the carpet installation. If we have to paint in our new house, we will hire this company!

I’ll give 5 stars with the painter and it’s crew were so nice and good people. Looking at my house compared to the newly painted in my neighborhood. Mine looks like it’s done by a regular Joe. However, the crew members are so nice. Would definitely work with them again.

Very happy with the entire experience, all went exactly as John explained, my house looks better than when it was new back in 2006, I would highly recommend CertaPro Painters of San Mateo! The team they sent were very nice and very organized, they even covered my neighbors fruit trees.

CertaPro Painters did an awesome job painting the exterior of our Hillsborough house. The entire experience from the beginning to the end was very professional, smooth and impressive. The way the job was scheduled, timely communications on what to expect, the excellent way the house was prepared for paint (walls, trims, etc), the quality paints used, especially the experienced and professional painter (Pedro Lopez), attention to detail, etc was simply marvelous.

Pedro is very customer oriented and wanted to make sure we were very happy with the job. If he had missed anything, he wanted to know right away and said he would happily come back and take care of it. Pedro did not miss anything and was outstanding!
