Sean was great fixing an outdoor faucet that was worn out and leaking. The job ended up being more complex than I had thought and he had everything needed to get the job done fast and efficiently. Plus he was very easygoing about the extra work. Highly recommend using Red Wrench for any plumbing needs.

Found Red Wrench Plumbing through Nextdoor. Wanted to support someone in the neighborhood and I’m super happy with the results. Sean was professional, honest, and flexible when I needed to reschedule due to a family illness. He replaced my kitchen sink and faucet. When the sink I had bought didn’t fit in the cut out, he was able to call in a favor to have his friend Anthony (thank you!!!) cut a little piece off my granite counter. The job was a little more complicated than we had originally thought, but Sean was able to get it done in a timely manner and you can tell he cares about his work! Now I have a new single basin sink, facet with water pressure, and a new plumber I’ll be calling when I need any additional plumbing work! Highly recommend!

Sean of Red Wrench Plumbing did a great job fixing our toilet which would on occasion keep running and running, wasting water. He installed new parts and it now works as good as new. No need to buy a new toilet thanks to Sean. He also installed a new faucet in the same bathroom for us as the current one was leaking from under the sink.

Sean is extremely professional, easy to communicate with and very friendly. He clearly explained what he was planning to do to fix the toilet and then at the end showed us what he had done. The new fixture works well too.

Sean is an exceptional plumber. He is reliable, responsive, prompt, reasonably priced, extremely competent and also happens to be a really nice guy. I recently renovated my entire kitchen and Sean did all the plumbing work, including taking care of the permits. He moved my sink to a new location and provided separate shut-offs for each water line (hot & cold to sink, hot to dishwasher and cold for ice maker in fridge). He also updated the gas connection to my range. The old valve used to come out into my kitchen cabinets, but Sean placed the new one neatly inside the wall. In short, he did an outstanding job and I highly recommend hiring Sean McGrillen of Red Wrench Plumbing.

I highly recommend Sean. He came to my house to repair a faucet that was not working. I had another estimate done the day before that stated I had to change the faucet ($550 - marked up $450) plus $350 for labor to replace it. He also suggested that the problem could be something else and that in this case it could cost more money. The total was getting close to $1000. This is why I decided to get a second estimate. Sean came and in about 10 seconds of looking at the problem, opened the faucet, unclogged it, and the faucet was working again. He charged $60 for his services. Sean is very honest and knows what he's doing. He came the same day I contacted him, he was running a bit late and sent me a message to let me know. I will never call any other plumber in San Francisco!

I had a leak on the ceiling that was coming from the bathroom upstairs which I had trouble figuring out how to isolate. I called Red Wrench Plumbing from a recommendation, and I'm really glad I did!

It was extremely easy and fast to book an appointment with Sean and his team. When they arrived, they looked at the bathroom and had an inkling as to what the problem could be, but in order to be thorough, they watched and evaluated the pipes when running water from below by cutting a hole in the ceiling. By doing that, they were able to isolate two separate leaking points which they fixed, and then they sealed the hole back up and even cleaned up after themselves.

The whole ordeal was just a couple of hours, and remained within the original estimate that Sean gave me at the very beginning. Really appreciate their professionalism and transparency.

Sean handled all the plumbing needs during our recent partial kitchen remodel of our 30-year old kitchen. Sean was not only professional, but he is well versed regarding code requirements, and was creative regarding the accomplishment of that goal.
Sean also alerted me about something no one else brought up. He did this because he glanced behind our old stove. He said that I should check the specs for the range we had purchased before it was delivered. It turned out that there was no way that the open space in the rear of the new range would accommodate the gas line. If the range had been delivered, they would not have been able to install it or even push it out of the way against the walk. Sean further helped us, prior to receiving the range, by rerouting that line to inside the wall, while maintaining the shut-off valve in the adjacent cabinet.
Sean will be coming back to plumb the new sink and change to a single-holed faucet soon after the new vanity top and sink are installed.

Our regular plumber retired this year. We were lucky enough to find Red Wrench. We now have our new plumber :-) .

Sean of Red Wrench Plumbing was great. He came out to clear our clogged toilet (in the past we called other plumbers to clear it), but he went above & beyond by going into our garage and physically cleared the clog vs poking a hole in the clog. Highly recommend him in her services as he goes above & beyond the minimum (that our other plumbers we have gone to).
