Don was amazing. He came out for an estimate with no delay, gave us honest and accurate info, and was willing to schedule a time sensitive project very quickly. We didn't feel rushed or pressured. It's great knowing you're giving your money to a local family business instead of lining the pockets of the big wigs.

Our Insinkerator died and we picked KC to install a new one. Don recommended a stronger model vs the wimpy one we had, professional grade. And: he straightened out the hoses, wires and tubes that were nested up and down along the old one. Everything look much cleaner now, more space in the cabinet, and the new unit works quietly and beautifully.

I was curious about their credibility and wondered if they were different from all the other heating and cooling companies I had used over the years. What ultimately convinced me to call KC Home Services was a recommendation from the owner of SP Plumbing.

This week, KC Home Services installed a new Lennox Signature Line 22 SEER Variable Speed Heat Pump (3-ton system) in my home, and the crew did a fantastic job from start to finish.

Carol G. from the office kept me well-informed about scheduling and the crew's arrival times. Brandon P. was the first team member I met, and he was incredibly kind and professional. He patiently answered all my questions and clearly explained what was wrong with my old system. Most importantly, he fixed my air conditioner—something other companies hadn't been able to do.

My system was almost 20 years old, and I had previously contacted other companies to inspect it. However, they were only interested in selling me a replacement rather than diagnosing and fixing the existing issues. Brandon took a different approach. He thoroughly inspected my HVAC system underneath the house (which was functioning correctly) and then checked my attic, where he discovered that the return duct was too small and was causing strain on my system.

Brandon went over various heat pump options, including models that they both offer and those that they don't. We even discussed a specific model I had been considering. He pulled it up on his iPad and showed me the unit's rating alongside comparisons with other models we had discussed. After conducting my research, I decided to opt for the Lennox model mentioned above.

Like clockwork, the KC Home Services team arrived precisely as promised. On the first day, I met Marvin, who conducted a pre-installation survey of the area, double-checking the location and space to ensure everything we had agreed upon was appropriate and would fit properly.

Next, I met Rick C. and Bryan A., who were instrumental in installing my new system. These two exceptional young men worked from early morning until 5 p.m. for three consecutive days. They greeted me each day with genuine smiles, showing respect and appreciation for my home while keeping me informed throughout the entire process.

Since my house is older, there were pipes and other components that needed to be rerouted or replaced. Mike A. assisted Rick and Bryan on the third day, and he was equally professional, caring, and respectful.

I have lived in this area for 20 years and have never seen such an impressive display of professionalism from any company as I witnessed with KC Home Services. Rick and Bryan even helped move a large desk in my office that was blocking one of the room's vents.

Each day, the team ensured they swept and vacuumed the work area, leaving everything clean and replacing any items exactly as they had found them. The entire team exceeded my expectations and restored my faith in companies that genuinely care about their customers.

The system runs smoothly—I don't even hear the motor when the AC comes on. Five stars all the way. If I could give them ten stars, I would.

KC Home Services was Outstanding!! Their technician Don took care of my 86-year old uncle’s plumbing problem, and did so with exceptional customer service! I live far from my uncle and do my best to help him resolve issues over the phone. Don communicated with both me and my uncle, which took a lot of extra time. From the moment Carol answered the phone with such a pleasant greeting to the communication between dispatch and the technician, it was all very easy and seamless. We had KC Home Services repair/redo our kitchen sink plumbing (it was a disaster from the previous owner), reset/reseal our toilet, and do an under-house evaluation of our ancient plumbing infrastructure. They were thorough, prompt and professional. Highly recommend for anything home related.

Brandon arrived early, spent time to diagnose the issue with our heater and got our heat going all within his initial visit. He also crawled under the house to make sure there were no problems with out ducking- and extra step to make sure we had the best information available! the price of the visit was also very reasonable.

KC Home Services is a winner in my book. Right on time, extremely knowledgeable about gas heating and AC Units. Michael knows his stuff and checked out our furnace from top to bottom. When he finished with the furnace, he went under the house and checked all of our ductwork.
I never knew why we had two cold air returns until today. Michael explained the two returns were because of the Sq. footage of our home.

This is my first time using KC Homes but response is excellent and they came in on time with two technicians. During the investigation of my HVAC Furnace not warm enough, they explained to me each details of what is wrong with it. After they cleaned gas nozzle, it burned normally and surprisingly they charge only $89. I would highly recommend this company and their technicians.

We've used KC Home for a few years now. Viginia, the scheduler, is amazing -- she works so hard to get people in when we need them at a time we need. Michael, who came most recently to fix our AC, is fantastic -- personable, knowledgeable, wants you to understand what the problems and alternatives are and explains with clarity and patience. But actually everyone who has been out to help has been wonderful. This is a company that clearly really cares about customer satisfaction.

Wow, talk about a top notch experience! For starters, everyone at KC Home Services worked seamlessly with both myself (home owner) and our contractor. We called KC Home Services for a second opinion after a referral from someone who lived in the neighborhood. Virginia and Kevin spoke with our contractor at length regarding our first quote from another company and some of the concerns they had with regards to the information we were being provided. In addition, we were able to get both plumbing and heating departments out the next day to assess the multiple issues going on.

Plumbing: After assessing the issues we were having, Daniel and Michael got to work at the same appointment to replace the broken pressure gauge. This was causing not only inconsistent water pressure throughout the house, but causing leaks due to the pressure being so strong and blowing components of our plumbing fixtures. Then they fixed the leak from the water main coming up to the house from the street. They fixed a VERY concerning issue related to the water shut off valve location (originally located below the fire mitigation system...meaning if you shut off water due to evacuation for a fire, it shuts off the sprinkler system as well), which was not up to code. In addition, by flushing our water heater, they confirmed that we did in fact not need a new water heater as reported by the first company we called. This saved us thousands of dollars. They stayed late to flush all the faucets and make sure things were up and running. Daniel was available for calls regarding follow up questions I had and ensured that I fully understood everything.

Heating: Brandon came out at the same initial appointment as Michael and Daniel. He did a full assessment of our current HVAC system and duct work, including going into the attic and under the house in the crawl space. While he agreed with the first opinion that we were in need of a more powerful system (current unit was meant for a house half the size as ours and there were missing vents/registers), he made a different recommendation with regards to what system to go with. After research and discussion with our contractor, it was clear that not only was Brandon's recommendations spot on, but we were getting a better product at a cheaper cost. KC Home Services was there within the week installing our new unit. Chris, Blake, Caden, and Marvin were assigned to our installation. They were kind and respectful to us and cleaned up after themselves. They were efficient in their work and kept me updated on the progress. Given that this installation was being done during a 90 degree plus week, they installed a temporary air conditioning unit to ensure we could sleep at night.

In sum, we are grateful to have come across KC Home Services. We will not only be using them for any of our future needs, but we will be recommending them to everyone. Every aspect of this company is above and beyond great. It is clear they really only have the customer's interest at heart.
