I can't say enough about their customer service! Virginia is just the best! Michael, who was here today, went the extra mile. Sam, who gave me a price on a new wall heater and flu was also super! I never will go anywhere else! And will recommend them to all! They are the best!!!

I requested an estimate from KC Home Services for replacement of my 25 year old gas furnace and air conditioner with high efficiency units. Brandon, their sales manager, did a complete inspection of my system and made excellent recommendations for replacement units. Brandon was professional, courteous, knowledgeable and thorough. Although I did not choose KC Home Services for my HVAC project, their bid was fair and competitive. The company has an excellent reputation and I considered them a finalist for my multi-bid project.

Still evaluating what to do with a leaky toilet, floor damage in a mobile home, KC Plumbers were very professional, put booties on coming in the house, and gave me appropriate and pertinent information of what we will need, and answered my questions, very helpful and specific. Still considering our needs for floor removal and replacement. We may use them for HVAC and toilet replacement. My feeling’s that they’re honest fair and reasonable from estimate for toilet replacement, as plumbers. I did end up hiring KC to replace our old HVAC system, and it’s a top of the line system with a 20 year warrantee coverage. We had a few issues at first an they came out promptly to test it, and explain what was happening - it was a bit noisy in the heating cycle, and the system was adapting itself to the indaft and ducting (as far as I understood) and it has quieted down, since. Very helpful, kind, honest & prompt in responding. I appreciate that they’re a family owned business in my area and not corporate.I’d recommend their services to anyone because I’m impressed by their professional personnel, and local family owned business.

Sam, like all KC employees was pleasant and professional during his company’s free inspection of our attic and crawlspace insulation and ducts.

This is my second experience with KC Home services. This experience was much better than the first! Our home is now fully insulated and a new furnace has been installed! The young men were slightly MORE timely than I expected-in other words, they showed up earlier than the scheduled time! At first I was frustrated, because I don’t do early mornings! But they were adorable, courteous, AND intelligent! They were understanding and courteous of the pets and general home circumstances!

I used KC Home Services for annual tankless water heater maintenance and furnace maintenance. Virginia and Daniel and the furnace maintenance person were all so nice and easy to work with. Virginia let me know exactly when they were coming to do the service. She sent me a picture of each rep and a description of their qualifications. They both arrived on time, - these were separate appointments. I’m completely happy and satisfied with the work they did and all the explanations they gave for what they were doing. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and will use them again.

We got a new HVAC system in an old house (100 years+) that we have been living in for a long time. Rebates, baby! Company and its folks were terrific. Locally owned and second generation, which is really important to us. They also hire local guys and seem to train them well. Very personal and professional service. After installed, HVAC didn't quite work, though the guys tried their best to get it working on Friday at 4:45. To no avail, but took care of it when the new part came in the following week. Each of the employees great at explaining options and how to work the system, setting up on phone, etc . Brandon a good salesman, clear and quite happy to answer all my questions, even when they kept coming! When price and system became a challenge, we worked it out with 2nd generation owner on the phone helping. Still. A bit pricier than some other companies, but I trust that will make a big difference if anything goes wrong. If it does, or even if it doesn't, check with Virginia, mom of the current 2nd generation owner and she will take care of everything!

We used KC for a water heater service and the tech Daniel was fantastic. He arrived early and made quick work of the issue we were having. The main reason I want to leave this review is for the customer service. From start to finish they were on top of communication and explainations. Their hospitable and friendly attitude was refreshing in a service market that is often met with dismissive professionals. These people went above and beyond to assist us and we will happily use them again.

I had a great experience with KC Home Services. Communication was clear, the technician was very knowledgeable, and the repair on my ac unit was fixed quickly and professionally. Highly recommend these guys!

KC was great. Took a while for them to show but it was worth the wait. Luis Velazquez was our technician and he was so nice and answered all our questions and got our heater working. We were so grateful to have a professional, kind person come into our home and help heat up our home again. We will definitely be doing business with KC again in the future.

Michael and Daniel were fantastic. They were respectful of the property, knew what they were doing, did good work, and were very professional. So glad our house systems are being maintenanced by them. Signed up for another year!

KC Home Services did a great job servicing our tankless water heater. They are our go-to plumber, HVAC company we use since moving into our home. Always on point with appointments, prices, the professional flow of the entire process. It beats any company I’ve used in the area. Might look like a big company but it was a mom and pop home service company and the son, second generation, has grown it to quite an amazing company. It’s a great Sonoma County Business. Give em a go.

Sam Fiddler was the service tech from KC Home Services who came out to inspect our insulation and HVAC system. Sam was prompt, polite and efficient. He quickly took care of business, knew what he was talking about and explained everything thoroughly in a way that I could easily understand! Thank you Sam and Leelee!

Very pleased with DAniel Chan. A very nice person as well as competent plumbing technician. He took extra time to explain everything and why the specific repairs were made. He exceeded expectationds when he took the time to clean out the "air gap" to the dish washer. That small job was appreciated as i approach my 84th bday and i don't fold or unfold as easy as i used to to do that job myself. So thank you.

KC home services tech showed up to install our new solid surface shower walls on a previously installed pan and properly prepared walls.
Proceeded to cut back wall w/ 1/4” to 5/8” gap at top .
Bonded it with protective film stuck in the bottom ( it had rolled around from the face and was imbedded ). I also watched him use mineral spirits substitute to clean the walls prior to glueing with water based glue . ( l did not realize it at the time , but upon looking up these two components are not to be used together ).
We fear that the lack of reliable bond will force us to redo the job completely .

He then cut the plumbing wall with 0” to 3/4” gap at inside corner .
Drilled 3 of 4 plumbing penetrations 1” over size .

I commented “ nice that we have an extra panel , you can redo it “( we had extra panel ear marked for wainscoting next to shower) .
Turned around and he was cutting it up for wainscot !

He tried to cut a “ donut” to flush glue in over cut hole . Not flush , dirt in the glue at the one area that the glue joint would have showed .
He glued it in wrong side out , with protective film still on !

We let him know prior to starting that we had all the hardware and install instructions on a table for him to reference.
And that the trim for the plumbing components were designed to be installed w/o caulk ! They have compression and “0” ring seals to the shower walls and that we did not want any caulk used on them .

We ask the company to stop work , they proceeded to “0” out our balance due on the contract .

We have about a $4,700 replacement cost on damaged materials and labor to redo .
Plus he use a “ door mat” as protection while standing on our new curb-less , non slip pan leaving deep black marks all over it !.
We may need to replace it also !!!

We use KC Home Services for HVAC and plumbing maintenance. We recently had a water leak from pipes in our attic, resulting in dry wall damage in our ceiling. Daniel arrived on time and accessed our attic (not an easy task). He did a great job on the repair, but what I like the most is the total transparency: taking photos, explaining how he would handle the repair and encouraging us to ask questions. He walked us through the procedure on turning off our tankless water heater as well as shutting off water to the house using our Moen auto shut-off valve- physically as well as well using the app. After the repair, he made sure there was no leaking. He cleaned up everything and used shoe covers when entering our house. Such a polite and knowledgeable young man who was willing to answer any questions we had. Highly recommend KC Home Services.

KC home services did fantastic work. Daniel Chan our technician installed the GE GeoSpring Heat Pump Water Heater and took lots of care to make sure the job was perfect and it would be easy for us to access shut off valves if needed. He helped us through the process of picking the right heat pump for us and made sure we maxed out the possible rebates. He was very kind, friendly, helpful, and happy to answer my one million questions. He showed up right on time and had incredible customer service. Virginia the dispatcher was also incredibly accessible and very responsive, she answered all my questions quickly any time of day. We were new to learning about heat pump technology but felt like we were in really good hands. Excited to be off gas and have a super efficient water heater. Thanks KC team!
