I can not say enough positive things about Anthony (owner of Excellence Heating and Air) and his installation team (father/son team) that installed our new heating and AC unit. From beginning to end, they did an amazing job and were quite as a church mouse as I work from home. They worked with my schedule so they wouldn’t interfere with any of my Zoom meetings or conference calls. I was sad to see them go today, but OMGOSH turning on my new AC was a dream come true. I am over the moon ecstatic with the final product. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone that asks.

I can’t begin to tell you how pleased I am to have selected Excellence Heating and Air to install an air conditioning unit in my home. Excellence was recommended by a neighbor who told me Anthony is the best and I couldn’t agree more. I had recently installed solar panels and wanted to install air conditioning to take advantage of the solar energy produced. I hadn’t mentioned the solar panels to Anthony and when he and his team arrived with the air conditioning unit he noticed the panels and suggested I’d be better served by a heat pump unit which, in addition to air conditioning, could assist with producing heat during the cold months. This meant Anthony had to return the air conditioning unit and order the heat pump, which took considerable additional time and energy on his part. A less honest and considerate individual would have said nothing and installed the air conditioning unit and gone on to the next project. I think this says a lot about Anthony and Excellence Heating and Air. I would not hesitate to give Excellence my very highest recommendation.

We were extremely satisfied with the work that Anthony and his crew did. They took on a somewhat complex project that involved moving a furnace and a/c unit to a different location, rerouting ducts, replacing vents and upgrading the filter system. The work was done perfectly, and on time. They also left the house clean after each day that they were working here. Excellence Heating and Air provides exceptional service. I can’t overstate how happy we are with the outstanding job they did replacing our old gas heater with a heat pump and all new ducting. From the start Anthony was a pleasure to work. Communication was easy as he listened and helped us make decisions about the new A/C system. Each day they were prompt, professional, thorough and left a clean worksite. The estimate was detailed and price very reasonable. We enthusiastically recommend Excellence Heating and Air and would absolutely hire them again.

Anthony (owner) did an excellent job in replacing our old gas furnace with a brand new highly efficient heat pump. He was very understanding and patient in responding to our multiple questions, he's also very knowledgeable and we felt confident about his recommendation for the heat pump that would be right for our house. I had talked to many other hvac installers and you could tell that Anthony knew his product and wasn't trying to upsell us, plus the Mitsubishi heat pump qualified us for rebates, not to mention that we now have AC as a result of installing a heat pump!
He showed up on time and cleaned up at the end of the day.
It's been 9 months now and we couldn't be happier with our purchase.

Very careful installation which meant a lot to us given that we added AC after a complete remodel and were worried about potential damage to other recently completed work.

We also had a lot of back & forth regarding size of the system, our specific needs with a major concern about budget. Anthony was very patient & considerate throughout that process.

About five years ago Anthony installed a new furnace at our Novato rental property. Our tenants recently moved to Kentucky and we had Anthony perform the needed service.
We are very pleased with all his work and found him to be thoughtful, creative and good for his word. He definitely gets a 5 star review from me

We called Excellence Heating & Air with a semi urgent issue with our heater. They responded immediately and scheduled someone to come out the very next day. The issue was diagnosed and we agreed a new heater was the best idea. The heater was installed within the week and everything has been great since. Pricing was fair and honest! We definitely will call them again if the need comes up!

I worked in construction industry in my past. I had the pleasure of working with Anthony and his team on a project in St. Helena about 8 years ago which went well.
This year, I reached out to them for replacing my own home’s AC/Gas furnace with a new all electric heat pump.
Dee in the office, Roberto at the site and Anthony were all great to work with. They do a great job communicating, they know their technical stuff, they did a great quality installation and were prompt and professional.
We are also extremely happy with the performance of the heat pump as well as the substantial reduction in AC and fan noise so far. Not to mention the substantial energy savings.

Anthony and his team were exceptional at a new ductless mini split system installation in my home. They were extremely efficient and very professional. Even the inspector who did the final for sign off, said she was impressed with the work.
The men who did the job laid tarps down and kept things very clean. When they were finished, they walked through made sure everything was back in its original place and then did a final cleanup.
I am extremely satisfied and will have them back to do the same thing in one of my rentals.

Excellence heating and air is the perfect name for this business! They are EXCELLENT. Owner’s Dee and Anthony were so kind, helpful and prompt. Journeyman Roberto and apprentice Austin are some very hard working gentlemen! They left everything cleaner than when they came, were so accommodating and kind to my dogs and cats who were often under their feet! The duct tester and inspector seemed pleasantly surprised with how organized everything was and ready for them. I can’t say enough good things about the whole crew. I would highly recommend excellence to my family and friends for all their heating and cooling needs!
