This review is specifically for Matt who came out to fix a tricky issue with our recently installed system. I did not get his last name. Matt was absolutely fantastic.

Matt arrived on time and was extremely professional. He made sure to wear boot covers whenever entering the home and was very patient with all of my questions and concerns. In the process, he explained how the entire system functions and everything he was doing to make sure we're all on the same page.

After climbing into the blistering hot attic and working on the outdoor unit, he figured out what was causing our issues and got everything up and running. Thankfully he was patient enough to stick around to make absolutely sure everything was all good to go. Unfortunately, it shut down yet again. He had to painstakingly assess all the wiring going through every component with his multimeter to figure out exactly where we had unexpected shorting in multiple wires in the wall.

After taking care of all these issues and making sure everything was good to go, he also called in to verify that none of the problems were due to user error and that our 10 year warranty would cover everything. It's good to find a company that stands by their warranty.

After all this work, I expressed to Matt that I wanted to tip him for his work, especially since he spent quite a bit of time absolutely roasting in the attic. He simply told me that it's not necessary and that he loves what he does.

Friendly customer service and staff. The particular unit I bought has some issues, but I think if I could do it again I would stick with this company and spring another couple thousand for a better unit. I do have a 10 year warranty for almost anything that fails on the system which has come in handy. My regret is mostly trying to save money with a single stage unit instead of a high quality multi stage unit. This company is readily willing to come out and fix anything in a timely manner.

We recently had Allegiance out to inspect our HVAC system in preparation for the summer, and luckily we did as we did need a repair on our AC. Michael C. was very friendly and professional, helping answer all our questions & providing recommendations. We had an air purification system put in, & when it appeared to be making some noise a few days later Michael promptly came back and quickly fixed the issue. Overall great experience working with Gena in scheduling and Michael on property. Would highly recommend!

They were quick to schedule the appointment. The pricing was outrageous though. I had a full cleaning, topped off coolant, replace a solenoid (go figure the cheapest item), and service was over $1300. Feel I got robbed. The gentleman that came out was very professional and apologetic for the cost, . I admit it has been a minute since my last service. But that cost was over the top. 3 stars just because the tech was a decent guy.

Always get a second—or third—opinion. Living in Escondido without A/C is like camping inside a volcano. Last summer, ours was on life support. We survived, barely, but knew we had to get it serviced before we became rotisserie humans.

So I called a heating and air company. The tech came out, gave me a tour of my HVAC system, pointed at gizmos and whirlybangs like he was narrating a NASA mission, then hit me with a $20,000 estimate for a brand-new heating and air system. I’m a college professor. I didn’t know what to think.

I asked, “Wait… why do I need a new heater when my A/C is the problem?”
He launched into a sermon about how everything is connected—replace the A/C and the heater just has to go, like it’s some kind of emotional support appliance.

Thankfully, my wife said, “Call someone else.” So I called Allegiance Heating and Air. Their tech was professional and knowledgeable. He did his diagnostics, looked around and said, “You probably just have a leak in one of the coils. Don’t know which one, but it’s fixable.” Then he handed me three options—each one nearly $20,000 cheaper than Mr. NASA’s plan. Lawrence was professional and explained things well. I highly recommend them.
