We’ve used Rendon heating and air twice now (for two different things) and both times they were prompt, honest, and fixed our problems quickly! They’re very knowledgeable and don’t try to upsell you things you don’t need. We’ve referred them to our friends and family as well and will be lifelong customers!

I had a terrible experience with this company and can’t believe the positive reviews.
I have a rental in the Sacramento area that I manage from out of state. It needed a new HVAC system so I contracted Rendon to do the job. They insisted a check be given upon completion of the job, so I sent one to my tenants to give them. For some reason they didn’t complete the job and said they would be back on Monday to install the condensate line in the attic. They insisted my tenant give them the check at that point though, despite the job not being complete. By Saturday it became abundantly clear that something had gone wrong with the installation as it was blowing hot air on an already hot weekend. My tenants were melting and called Mr. Rendon to come help, but he told them he was watching a movie with his kid and would send someone on Monday. I have never experienced an HVAC company that does not have an emergency crew, especially when they have done something wrong. Words were apparently exchanged, because my tenant was understandably hot and frustrated, and then the Rendons canceled the follow-up appointment! None of this was communicated to me- the homeowner and person who they just cashed a $10,000 check from, without completing the job. Finally on Wednesday my tenant told me what happened. I contacted the Rendons myself and they once again refused to come to the house saying they were “scared” of my tenant. I was understanding and offered to ensure the tenants were not on the property, and that I would appoint a representative instead to be there. They still refused. I told them I felt frustrated that I spent $10,000 for a complete job and I did not receive a complete job, and that I would now have to spend more to hire another company to come out to finish their work. They reluctantly offered to send me a $50 refund to go towards paying another company. I just wanted to be done with it at that point so I accepted, even though there was no chance I could get another company out on a service call, no matter how simple, for $50.
They never even sent the $50. It has been a year. And they stopped answering my emails about it too. I have all of this in writing via email so don’t believe any spin they try to post here in response.
In the last email I sent about a month after this all went down I once again asked for them to keep their word and send the agreed upon $50, and that I wouldn’t ask again. Obviously by this point it had become about more than the $50- it was about integrity and keeping your word. No response. I guess they assumed that meant they would be officially off the hook.
I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau, and now I am also posting here to dissuade any other well intentioned potential clients to be very wary of this company.
They do not stand by their work, and are frankly, dishonest.

Got five quotes from other places to install central heating and air and they were the cheapest. Came on time and were very professional. Got things done quickly. I’m very happy!

The absolute best HVAC company in our area! Their customer service and prices are unmatched. I have dealt with different HVAC companies in the past and the process is dragged out trying to figure out the actual problem with my AC unit. Rendon knew how to diagnosis my furnace and outdoor unit quickly and efficiently. They were back with the correct parts and equipment shortly after. 100% recommend them and will never turn to another company again!

Rendon Heating & Air provided excellent service when they came to install my new HVAC system. They were on time and ALL employees were courteous and helpful in walking me through the steps of my new smart thermostat. They cleaned up after themselves and even help put my small shed back together. They should have 10 stars from their price and customer service.

This is our second time using Rendon Heating and Air. They had previously replaced my mom’s air conditioner and from start to finish that was a positive experience. This time we had them out to replace our hot water heater. Both times, Rendon Heating and Air responded quickly, professionally and was very knowledgeable about the service and equipment needed to get the job done. So much easier than going through a big box store!

Excellent service!! David came out within a day or two to give us an estimate on a new air conditioner. He was very personable and we knew after his visit we were going to use them. He sent out Lupe to install it and he to was also very personable and just a really nice person to work with. The gentleman that came out to help with heating unit in our attic was also very nice and professional. We were very pleased with both their work and work ethics. Thank you both, we highly recommend this company for your air and heating needs. By the way it was nice to have our home cool down alot faster than it has been. Yay!

Lupe and Carlos worked great together on my HVAC and exhaust vent repair. They took the time to inspect and explain things to me, and I had an opportunity to address my concerns and questions. I was reasonably charged for the repair. I am delighted to be a member and support the Veteran's business as a fellow veteran. I recommend Rendon's service to others.

David and crew did an amazing job. They ran into unexpected issues with our install, and did not let that get in their way. David gave us an estimate (and stuck to it) that was almost half the price we had been quoted from another local company! He was also able to install a new style of heat pump - David stays on top of the industry improvements. Highly recommended: We're so happy with our new heat pump! update 4/2025: David's team came for our semi-annual service. Always professional, answered questions I had about the system. Still the best!
