We called Elite Rooter out on a rush job and they responded quickly and even offered a deal on one of the services we required—$50 to clean out our backed up kitchen pipes. A plumber was here within an hour and quoted $200 to fix the kitchen backup and a clogged drain in another part of the house. I got approval from the landlord over the phone, signed the estimate, and he got to work. Around 20 minutes later a “Division Manager” from Elite knocked at the door and told me he looked at our pipes with his camera and determined we need a $1,300 clean out using their heavy machinery. He didn’t show me any photos but said he highly recommended it since we have old pipes. I have no doubt our pipes are old and probably have some buildup. But landlord hadn’t approved it so I declined and he left. A little while later the plumber said he couldn’t clean out the pipes using his snake and I needed to pay for the $1,300 job. The red flag was when he said his snake had gone in 30 feet into our pipes and couldn’t go any farther. Our house isn’t even 30 feet across. Our kitchen pipes are within 6 feet of the exterior clean-out. So I asked how he managed to get 30 feet of snake into the kitchen pipe. He got flustered and kind of held out his palm and used his index finger to “map out” our apparently very complex kitchen pipe network. It made no sense to me no matter how many times I tried to clarify. So I said “if you really can’t fix it then I guess we’ll have to live with this for a day or two until we can get another plumber out here.” At that point, he told me “well…maybe I can try again.“ Lo and behold within 10 min the kitchen pipes were clear. All of this is to say I felt like they were trying to upsell/scam us a little bit and I didn’t appreciate it. But they got the job done and quickly. So as long as you’re paying attention and willing to take their advice with a healthy dose of skepticism, this could be a good company to use.

Cost $150 plus problem not fixed. After calling the company $100 will be refunded to me. When I receive it I will change the review to say that customer service is good. Have not received a refund nor has anyone from the company reached out to me. Would not recommend this company. Brianna reached out to me and the refund was processed. She is very nice. I appreciate her responsiveness. I’m sorry that it did not work out with the plumbers.

Martin Hernandez was thorough, doing everything possible to fix our mysterious slow leak. Everything is working fine now and he even offered to call in a few days to make sure all is well with the plumbing.

My kitchen sink had been backing up for some time but I had just assumed it was the garbage disposal as it had been problematic in the past. It decided to completely stop working after a long shift at work so I had to call a company after hours. Called Elite Rooter and they sent out someone within an hour.

Leo was very nice, helpful and polite. He got started right away and discovered it would be more work than originally anticipated. He came back the next day and after attempting to clear my drain, found out there was tons of build up in the line, which meant they needed to do hydro-jetting (?). Leo brought his supervisor over to explain the issue, even explaining that the repulsive smell that has been coming from my sink could be the root cause of my migraines and eye pain! He got on the phone with my landlord and explained the diagnosis, urgency and that this issue had been 15 years in the making (which it was essential for me to know that I had nothing to do with this issue).

Elite worked out all the finances with my landlord and Leo came back on Saturday, finished the job beautifully. My sink is finally running the way it should and the disgusting smell is gone!

I cannot speak to the financial part of this ordeal because my landlord paid for it; however, if you EVER have water that smells bad in your home, don’t let your landlord be passive, have it investigated immediately! I still have the headaches but I’m hoping they go away and hopefully this isn’t something worse… like mold illness!

Elite Rooter did a great job getting my sink fixed in the shortest time possible considering the severity of the issue. I appreciate Leo for coming three days in a row, particularly on a weekend to get everything resolved. Five stars! Thank you so much! :)

Elite rooter plumbers did a very thurough job dealing with our plumbing problems. Pedro Arellano the technician did a fantastic job. He explained every thing as it went along and was very thurough and great to work with.

I had yearly service done on my water heater and, as in the previous years, Raymundo was excellent. On time, professional, kind, friendly, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with.

The office and service tech were really polite and friendly. Very clean and professional, showed up on time just as scheduled. However, the reason I’m give two ⭐️ was the price was misleading and I was quoted half the total cost. I did tell customer service excellent what was wrong and asked what the service would cost, they confirmed 3x they would honor the $50 drain cleaning special. After reviewing the issue service tech said the price was $120, $70 more then the quoted price…I paid for service. It was just misleading to get on price and they charged another, just be upfront on cost!

I just had my first experience working with Elite and I cannot recommend their service enough!

They were prompt, professional, and personable, resolved the problem and left the area looking neat and clean.

I highly recommend Martin at Elite Rooters Plumbing. He did a terrific job cleaning out our kitchen drain line. They arrived promptly and completed the task quickly, all for a very affordable price.

By far the worst experience I've ever had! I do not recommend them at all.

I had my pipes get backed up so I called them. The pointed out a repair that was needed and my sewer needed to be cleaned out. The charged me $4800 just to clean out the pipes which only took one hour of labor. The repair was over $5500. They then proceeded to use strong arms sales tactics to get me to do a liner on my pipes which would cost me $22,000. I was told that if I didn't do the liner my pipe would collapse and it would flood my house. At this point I decided to get other quotes.

I found out that from several other plumbers that I didn't even need the liner. And if I did it would only cost me no more than $12, 000. On top of that they told me they only charge $1,200 to clean out the pipe but elite rooter charged me $4,800. The are extremely expensive!

On top of that they did not complete the work! They left an 8ft hole in my yard and to this day they have not filled it. They told me they are waiting for the city to do an inspection but when I went to the city I was told that they don't even have a permit. And the reason they haven't issued in a permit is because they don't have a business license with the city of Ventura. The contractor named JR has been helping me with all this but he has told me it's out of his hands now. Every contact number he gives is a dead end. I even tried reaching out to the district manager but I keep getting the run around and No one follows up.

This has been extremely frustrating and has a horrible experience. Please do not use this company.

Our restaurant kitchen was flooded at night, the main sewer clogged so bad with grease, and needed help asap, so I called Elite Tooter, they sent Johnathan over, all of us were surprised to see this young 21 year old kid, we all skeptical about his abilities, so Jonathan tried to snaked the line but not successful so he had to went back to his shop to bring the hydraujet machine, it was like 9 pm, this young man was a true fighter, not afraid of dirty, with his knees on the floor, then he got the main line unclogged! Then he even help me clean up the kitchen, what a great young man, exceptional performance, he proved himself that he’s our hero for the night! Saved us, so we can open our restaurant door for business next day! Thanks so much Johnathan! Recommend 1000% to call Johnathan for your next plumbing repair job!

The “technician” who Elite sent out was cool. He did the roto-snake thing to unclog my drain which appeared to not do much. Then the “boss” calls me from Elite saying it’d cost $1495 to hydro-jet my drain-pipe. I said no… hung up. He calls back quickly and. Says , if he knocks off $200? I said no again. Called our regular plumber and they said they’d do the hydro-jet for $495. So, I’m in line for John Murray plumbing to clear my drain.

Leo did an outstanding job cleaning my clogged drain. They arrived promptly, explained the issue clearly, and had everything flowing smoothly again in no time. The service was fast, professional, and reasonably priced — I’d highly recommend them for any drain problems.

I only had one plumbing company come out from your site, Elite Rooter, did a half ass inspection, called in for an estimate where the "supervisor" then proceeded to overcharge both process, parts, service, and time for this minor repair.
" This would be an all day repair, the pipes needed retrofitting blah blah blah." too much bullshit to remember it all!
this is a maybe 3-4 hour 2 person job,(one person in the home the other under my manufactured home) the parts are basic 1 1/2 to 2" pipe I can pick up at the local hardware store. I had already done the research and knew what needed to be done. Just needed an honest company for the job.
Instead: I was treated like an old lady who didn't know anything about the necessary repairs.
Their estimate was $2000.00 plus.
The company then went on to down talk the previous bids I had received from several other professional plumbers.

Five stars! I am a licensed general contractor and had a main line clog at my own house. I was skeptical of the $50 advertised special to snake my line. First, my technician Leo laid out a nice, clean carpeted mat at my front door and put on shoe covers before entering my home. Very professional and very unexpected. I explained where I believed the clog was in the line and Leo spent 30 minutes snaking the line, and we ran lots of water to make sure the clog was clear. He offered to have his supervisor come by and run a camera in the line for free, which I readily accepted. The camera showed no damage to the line or any other obstructions. Both technicians were disappointed that no additional work was needed, but they did not try to pressure me for additional work to jet-rod the line ($1400), although they recommended it. I was prepared for heavy upsell. What I got was class A service, a knowledgeable crew, no dirt or footprints in my home and a clear drain. All for $50. As a business owner who specialized in emergency service repairs I can only say the best about my experience with Elite Rooters. Highly recommend.

I was very pleased with the service the gentlemen provided. Very respectful guys. They told me everything they were doing to fix the issues and explained what was probably going to need done to properly fix the issues long term. Highly recommend their company.

Leo was fabulous. Very prompt and efficient. He took pride in his work and he got it done quickly. The response and appointment were all set up quickly. I do feel that it was overly expensive for what I had done.

I walked in to my office yesterday around 7:30am. I was immediately informed by coworkers of an issue in the men's bathroom. I called and scheduled service in under two minutes. Elite was onsite by 9am, and diagnosed our problem and provided me a quote within a few minutes. By 10am, the men's room was back in service and cleaner than it was before Elite arrived.

Leo was an amazing technician. He called prior to let me know when he was coming. In fact he did call also when he was close to my condo to let me know he was just minutes away. Very respectful took care of my home environment covered his shoes, and in addition gave a very fair price Explaining in detail what he was going to do and did a great job in an appropriate amount of time. I will always continue to work with Elite Rooter and ask for Leo. Very very professional man
