He baby stepped my leak problem and currently only corrected what was necessary.
Hopefully the leak he corrected will fix my complicated problem.
In essence he did what was minimal hoping to correct my issue.

I received a call from the Homeowners Association that there was a leak in the Laundry Room downstairs and it was from my unit upstairs. They had called Midtown Plumbing to repair it, and I agreed to go ahead and do it. Great team. Work was done efficiently within 2 days. I'm actually continuing to do business with Midtown as opposed to my previous plumber.

I stayed with some friends in Ventura for the week and their septic tank and pump backed up. Shawn came out in the middle of the night to get us going again, and then twice more. Turns out there was an equipment issue that wasn’t immediately apparent and is really not a traditional plumbing issue. He was honest and expedient. Highly recommend.

We recently had two buildings fully repiped, and installed new water heaters, the experience with this plumbing company was outstanding from start to finish. Shawn and his team were professional, punctual, and respectful of residents’ schedules and living spaces. The crew communicated clearly throughout the project, provided progress updates, and handled every step efficiently.

Kept telling us they were on our way. Ultimately, we waited two full days for them to arrive--I literally didn't leave my house the entire time thinking they were coming within the next two hours, then the next two hours, etc. I had to keep calling them for updates; they were not communicative about the delays. Eventually, they showed up and couldn't clear our clog with a snake alone (not the plumber's fault, just a bad clog), but we will not spend any more money with this company. Called another who was way more responsive and gave us a better quote for the additional work needed to clear the clog.

Juan H. is an excellent plumber! He was professional, punctual, and got the job done right the first time. He took the time to explain what needed to be done and gave a fair estimate. CHECK BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU THEY FAILEDInitially, I was told that a secondary sewer inspection and hydro-jetting were needed. However, the hydro-jetting was either done improperly or not at all, since technicians accessed the system through the sink instead of the clean-out outside my home, resulting in ineffective results.

The technicians claimed there was no clean-out, but I found it later after hiring another plumber. In a follow-up estimate, they cut holes in my ceiling, wall, and under the sink without my consent, stating a secondary camera inspection and pipe replacement were necessary. No secondary inspection was performed, and they used the hole in the wall to remove a pipe segment without my permission.

I felt pressured to agree to a $15,000 pipe re-lining service, which dropped to $10,000 when I sought a second opinion. I later discovered that the removed pipe had no damage and only needed cleaning. Another plumber successfully cleared the issue with hydro-jetting for less than a quarter of Elite Rooter's charge.

An inspection confirmed no signs of a leak. In total, I paid Elite Rooter nearly $6,000 for partial services and unnecessary damage to my property. I feel that I was taken advantage of because of my gender, facing pressure to authorize unnecessary work while my concerns were dismissed.
